I was referred by a friend to HQ auto care. This friend spoke very highly of Mr.Kerry so I trusted him for help because my fan belt on my car broke. I’m not sure what he even did to my car besides adjust my hood latch. But what he was supposed to do was replace the fan belt. He kept my car 4 hours. On a Saturday, said he was checking everything ( pullies and all). My car was towed to his shop at about 11am and I got my car back at about 4pm. When I left his shop my car was driving. But by the time I made it out of town in my car the same belt “broke again” In the middle of the night so I had to get my car towed home for $650. I had my car looked at in San Antonio where I live and my mechanic informed me that Mr. Kerry should have changed the pullies and the belt tension as well as the belt especially for the amount of money he charged me. When I contacted him telling him it broke again Mr.Kerry stated “it shouldn’t have broke again it must be your alternator, air compressor, or power steering pump locking up.” He didn’t even offer to refund my money. I posted the picture of the belt because I have reason to believe the mechanic put the same belt on my car that he took off of my car. Because I just don’t see this belt looking exactly like the belt he took off before I left his shop. Neway, I’m very disappointed and I don’t recommend his services to anyone not even for an oil change

Facebook friends I have a good one for all! Recently me and my best friend Stan Newman have experienced car troubles! Well here is my recommendation. I’ve never experienced this kind of professionalism, service and knowledge of what needs to be done from a repair shop. They communicated via text and email with quick responses. They never failed to answer questions or tried to hide pricing. They were upfront with everything. They said my vehicle would be ready at a certain time but it was ready before the scheduled time. I didn’t have to play a waiting game with them about when they would call back. This shop is real customer friendly. I’ve never given an A+ to any repairshop but I am now! One more thing. Their pricing was far below the other mechanical gamers and dealerships! I checked and I was astonished at the better pricing ! My mechanic from now on and into the future is KERRY JOHNSON, at HQ Autocare! If you didn’t know, now you do👋🏽👍🏽
