Took my truck to DRIVERS EDGE to get 4 8s installed. They got me for a bunch of unnecessary items and charges for some things they didn’t even do. Wires exposed on the amp and just terrible installation really. Took my truck to Vernon’s to do a complete reinstall with new tech and did an absolutely phenomenal job. Competition grade install on something that will never see the public eye. Will never take any of my vehicles anywhere else and recommend this shop to anyone who who’s wants quality, and shit done right the first time. Just absolutely took care of me, and gained a life long customer.

I really enjoyed Vernon’s audio services today I do not normally write reviews but I recently got a Toyota tundra for my sons 16 birthday only problem back up camera didn’t work and stereo sounded horrible they didn’t sell me to much they were so professional at the installation it looked better after they were done everything looked stock couldn’t see speaker boxes or amps and wires anywhere and the sound was amazing while I was there I witnessed them cater to an older man saying this is his last truck because he didn’t have much money they found everything he needed probably $1200 in amps and wires for $400 then I watched Mr Vernon pay his taxes because he didn’t have enough on his card every one is kind and patient there work hard to do what’s best for the situation grade A one of a kind love the Lord love life attitude love Vernon’s

Buyer beware when using Vernon’s Signature audio in Lubbock, TX. I paid $77 for a diagnostic of an entertainment screen replacement for a 2020 Kia Forte in July 2025. I sent several emails and called on at least 6 different occasions for follow up and to see if they could repair/replace the screen and at what cost. They never once returned my call or provided me with any diagnostic information. So buyer beware when paying the diagnostic fee and then never receiving the promised service.

I prepaid over 4k for a new sound system to be installed. My appointment was for a week ago. They told me it was a 2 day job. When I dropped the truck off I let them know that I was going out of town and would be returning on Thursday or Friday, the 21st or 22nd of August. I went by yesterday and it was not ready. They informed me that they were going to a car show in Dallas and that it might not be ready. I returned today and it is still not ready. They said it might be ready tomorrow. I guess when you prepay for service here you are regulated to the NON-CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT. They were informed multiple times that I had scheduled another service for interior repairs at Fischer for seat, carpet and headliner replacement. I was trying to get everything completed before I leave on another trip. Since they decided to drop me in the grease, I will be delayed even more. Shame on these people for taking my money and not preforming as promised. Their other customers and their Dallas car show are more important the someone who prepays for ZERO SERVICE. I would recommend that you take your business somewhere. where it is appreciated and YOUR TIME IS MORE VALUABLE THAN THEIRS.

Went here because I heard it was a great shop. My experience there was anything but that. From changing the price to damaging my truck. Then lying about what happened. They spoke to me as if I were stupid when I called them out. They cut wires in my rear door on accident I guess but then gave me a lame excuse. Left off the window panel on the same door. There are wires exposed. My aunts car was there for tint. She wanted them at 25%. One window is at 7 another is 22, etc. My aunt wears glasses and is an elder. She cant see very well at night. And Vernon will not reimburse for the missing parts, repair/retint the windows, or take accountability for poor service. I spent 7,000 in this place and cannot even get an apology for screwing up my truck. I know mistakes happen but the way this place handles customer complaints is atrocious.

I was a unique situation where Leon and his team had to acommodate another shop's work after I managed to back into a truck and broke my aftermarket back-up camera (ironic, I know). I had received a quote over the phone that was quite reasonable, then a discount on top for being prior military. When his team took off my trim pieces and pulled my head unit, they were met with "questionable" wiring that didn't seem to follow any conventional wiring format, with connectors becoming uncrimped and loose wiring tucked into a bundle that served no purpose, and that was just the beginning of their problems. While they made quick work with my install, they couldn't get the head unit to recognize when the car was put into reverse. They pulled up wiring diagrams, consulted customer support, and conducted continuity checks pin by pin only to determine that the previous shop mis-pinned the connector somehow. My car was put back together and my back-up camera works perfectly. My entire job took under 2 hours and Vernon went out of his way to make my already discounted quote even cheaper. While the lobby was clean and attractive, as you would expect, the work bays where customers typiclly don't go are even cleaner. The entire experience could have easily become horrible, and many shops won't touch a previous install from an unknown shop, but the team at Vernon's Signature Audio made this a great experience and not my last.

Leon took great care of me and my older Escalade. My sound system screen had gone blank including the back up camera. They installed a new Sony system with all of today’s new features. Once installed the dash looked great! The service was great and fast. I had stopped by to ask questions and they went over my options. Overnighted the parts and it was done by 5 pm the next day.
