It's a nice feeling when you trust your mechanic AND...there is a reason why they have been in business for decades! Serpentine belt on my Mini Cooper broke. I called Hussey Motors and inquired if they could work on Mini Coopers? The woman on the phone replied "YES". I then asked her to send the truck to pick the car up. The tow truck responded to my home. The driver Mike ( OWNER) was advised the serpentine belt was broken. He loaded the car onto the truck and returned to his shop Wednesday around 1.00p/m. Not hearing anything from them I called on Friday around 4.00 p/m. Mike advised me the serpentine belt was broken and he believed the supercharger or water pump were the possible cause. Then he advised me that he could not work on my car because he did have the tool (s) to work on " Mini Coopers " I advised him i would call him back on Monday to have the car returned. Monday morning I called and Mike he advised me the bill was $269.00 to return the car? Two (2) tow services $110.00 each and $49.00 for the diagnosis. After talking to him for a while I guess he felt a little sorry for me and then charged the bill to $159.00 removing one tow service. I payed the hostage bill for the car to be returned to me. Why would any honest business tell you they can work on your Mini Cooper tow the car to their shop then tell you they cant work on Mini Coopers????? P.S. Mike, it was the CRANK SHAFT PULLY.

They are honest to a fault, truly. Only changed out parts that needed it which I can appreciate. Jean at the front desk is absolutely lovely. Always go small business!! We broke down on our way to vacation. While at the beach I called them and told them they had all week to fix the issue. They were kind, attentive and very professional. Mike and the team at Hussey Motors did a fantastic job fixing my truck. We drove in from Alabama and it was running hot / leaking coolant. Diagnosed it was the water pump. New water pump, thermostat, coolant, and serpentine belt all in the next day! Mike drove me back to the condo and came and picked me up when it was ready. Price and service are outstanding! I highly recommend Hussey Motors!

My daughters car was making noise and another shop didn't have time for her and told her it was the exhaust. So we saw reviews of Hussey motors and all seemed positive. She dropped it off before going away on a Thursday morning. When she got to her destination she called me and asked me to go get it that it was finished and only a bracket had rotted out. The took good care of her and charged her $60. There aren't many shops that will fix your car and charge you less then a few hundred. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Drove 1200+ miles down to Myrtle Beach from Canada 🇨🇦 on vacation and the van started making a loud noise (of course it was the water pump). I had to get it looked at before we drove back home at the end of the week. Hussey Motors was able to take it in right away and they had the van finished the next day. Can’t say enough great things about this place! Service at front desk was amazing, and Darren was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and honest. The price was very fair! You can see why they’ve been in business since the 1950s. Thank you Hussey Motors!
