Best transmission shop in ALL of California.Family owned and operated business. I took my GMC Sanoma step side in and they did a fantastic rebuild on the tranny,with a 3 yr warranty to back up their AWESOME work.I.T.Transmission goes above and beyond what most businesses claim.They are honest,professional and their prices are more than fair. I paid $4000 on December 12, 2023 for a brand new transmission to be put into my vehicle by the end of December. I have been waiting and waiting to have the transmission put in. I take my car there about 3 weeks ago to have the transmission put in. It's been problem after problem. The receptionist Theresa has asked my husband and I to sneak her money on more then one occasion, so her husband the mechanic won't know. She refuses to give a straight answer on anything. Now she is putting my old transmission in to my vehicle today and supposedly going to refund my $4000. I decided to look on the BBB website to file a claim and they do not have a proper license as of 11/30/23. Yet here they are still operating daily. This is unacceptable and extremely unprofessional! They need to be investigated asap.

Update: Had to replace almost every engine component that had been replaced after about a year. Transmission shifts hard and hasn’t soften by the slightest. Hopefully it lasts. Went in to have my rear end replaced and they called me after having my truck for over a week and told me the one they got was the wrong one but it could work for now if I needed my truck until the right one came in. I said okay which was a bad decision. This was over 5 months ago, I’ve called and asked if it has came in and they keep saying they can’t find one. I’ve found plenty for many different suppliers but still no reply from them. The open diff they put in instead of the limited slip makes a huge difference for me living in the mountains. Has been horrible to deal with. Went in to get my transmission on my 1994 Chevy K1500 after getting the best quote in town. They were very professional and friendly. After getting that done and it was shifting beautifully I was thinking about getting my engine swapped cause it had 300,000 plus, so I gave them a call an got another quote which was again the best in town. When I went in this time he gave me recommendations on other things I should replace with the engine as well which was very helpful. All n all I basically got a whole new under the hood truck for a great price from awesome people and it runs amazing. Already put 800 miles on it and it just keeps purring. Thank you both so much for your hard work and awesome service. Would definitely go back if more work is needed!

We went to I.T. Transmission during the holiday week when our transmission imploded in the middle of our long trip. They worked tirelessly on our AWD vehicle and got us back on the road safely and with a great price on the labor.
