Went in because I had a leak didn’t know where from the found the leak coming from my radiator they fixed it but then their was another problem my water pump had a small leak and they replaced and repaired the water pump for me free of charge ! Most honest mechanic in Detroit-Dearborn. Friendly staff. You can tell that this mechanic really loves what he does. I get the feeling he’s the type of person who enjoys taking things apart just to put them back together. A real engineer. I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else.

Took my car in around 10:30 a.m. said I needed an 02 sensor in upstream bank 1 rethreaded with the part I gave installed. Cost me $75 compared to Joe's correct auto care on 11 and John R at $100 and a wayy longer wait time. Even called me back noon saying the job was done. Very impressed. Now the intrepid is purring like a cat.

BEWARE: they will overprice you on basic mechanical work that needs to be done.The mechanical work is pretty good, but they kept my car for 2-3 days with no updates, I had to contact them repeatedly just for them to tell me to pick my car up and nothing was fixed. If you can find cheaper better service, PLEASE TRY!

BEWARE JUST BECAUSE I AM A WOMAN CAME IN ALONE ..had my vehicle for a couple of years I have had NO problem with my car at all ..I just wanted TO SEE WHY MY COLD AIR takes to long COMING OUT it was hot outside THEY OVER CHARGED ME .. MY ENGINE LIGHT IS COMING ON Now ..I KNEW THEY WERE UP TO SOMETHING AFTER THE SHORT GLAIRS And a guy under my hood for no reason. When the machine was already hooked to my car. I returned to let them know AFTER LEAVING YOUR SHOP MY ENGINE LIGHT IS ON .. HE MAGICALLY TURNED OFF THE ENGINE LIGHT.. IT CAME BACK ON.. now he think something is in my gas line 😒 REALLY.. The receptionist Naya welcomed me into the shop and was able to set an appointment with the mechanic immediately. The mechanic arrived within 5 minutes and proceeded to start the diagnostics/inspection for my truck I was in the process of purchasing and without hesitation the mechanic was honest, transparent, and stated what was necessary to fix prior to my purchase. The mechanic explained the reason behind some of the problems with the truck but overall stated the truck was not a total bad purchase and it is an easy fix and they were willing to work with me on the repair price. The process was done within 30 minutes and I was only here for possibly 35 to 40 minutes. Instant Auto Repair has lived up to its name. I suggest others to come here if they want fast, friendly, and efficient service.

At Instant Auto Repair, my experience has been professional, and friendly, and their willingness to work with customers to the point of payment arrangements. Depending on the current condition of one’s vehicle before the repair work, it’s likely that the actual repair work could be completed within 72 hours. They also take care of my lubricants. Like many mechanical shops every once in a while there would be some do-overs. We have truly become family. Overall, I am satisfied. I strongly recommend them.

I had a great first experience at Instant Auto Repair this weekend. During a busy day of errands, my AC started acting up. Most places were closed or advertised AC services on their website but when I called, said they no longer repair AC. Luckily Instant Auto Repair popped up in the results. I called and they said to come right in. It turned out that my AC hose had started leaking. Moe showed me the old and replacement parts and explained the gradual wear that caused the hole to appear. The guys had everything fixed quickly and for a reasonable price. Their hours are convenient and they have a spacious waiting room. I will be returning for future repairs we discussed
