Great shop! Used their drop-off service for an all day brake job. Communication was top notch and absolutely zero issues with the work they did. Unfortunately this isn't the norm. We were new to the area and had a poor experience at another local shop. One thing that is tough about being in a new area is finding businesses you can trust. We definitely found our new go-to mechanic.

UPDATE: The response given from Intercoastal Car Care is a complete lie. I emailed them and asked them if they were mistaken me for someone else, with no response. ‐-----------‐---------------------------------------------- New to Leland in August from out of state, saw all the great reviews and thought it would be a good place to have my sons breaks checked. I called to see if we could get it in and Kevin was super nice, said he was short handed that day, that he was from Ohio too, and to have my son bring it in the next day they were open, and they would take good care of him. My son went in first thing in the morning, they kept his car, but sent him home. I called to check on it in the middle of the day, and the clerk said it was next. Didn't hear anything until the end of the day when they called my son to pick it up. My husband took him to get it and although I appreciated their honesty that everything was okay, they charged us 70+ just to check his breaks. There was no one at that time around to ask why it cost that much. I called back the next day and asked the clerk why it cost that much, she was not pleasant, and when I said thank you, goodbye, she didn't say goodbye, and just hung up. I did not post this right away, because I really don't like leaving bad reviews, but it has been bothering me being new to town and it's hard to find good service, then I saw the previous review that sounded alot like what happened to us, but they say he wasn't there. Car was not brought in by me. Might be in my sons name, let me know if you want proof my son was there in August and what we paid. Thank you.

On vacation from VA when our Suburban suddenly started having engine issues. Pulled into the center and was immediately assisted by super friendly and helpful employees. This place is the perfect auto repair shop. After moving down here a year ago I've tried 3 places to find the right place for my auto repair needs. The first 2 were fine, but each lacked something to make you say this was THE place. Intercoastal has been phenomenal. I've been in for basic service, as well as diagnostics on possible issues. They have been incredibly fair in pricing, punctual (I've had appointments where I've shown up and before I finish signing in the car is in the bay). I had brakes squeaking where they easily could have just charged me to change the brakes and I would have been none the wiser but let me know they were fine and probably related to the humidity. Same thing when the oil light came on for low oil. The people there are personable, have skill, and just want to do a good job. Highly recommend!

I called and made an appointment for my NC Inspection, they were quick, friendly, and had me out the door. The waiting area is nice and comfortable as well. I will be back for future work!

I am writing this for my husband who had the actual experience. Took his Dodge Ram truck in to diagnose the check engine light and repair the drivers seat reverse control. The diagnostic testing indicated no problems and the seat motor was quickly repaired. The work performed was outstanding and the service was professional and efficient. Adam was extremely courteous and explained everything very clearly. This was our first experience with Intercoastal as we are new to the area but very impressed and will be back.

This has been my go to Auto Repair Center, for about a year now. This past time which was about 2 wks ago. I needed some major radar work done, and only had a few days before I traveled to PA, they expedited the parts in, and Adam did a Great job in a short time frame. I highly recommend this place. My wife’s ac was working sporadically. I’m not a mechanic but borrowed my friend’s gauges and found the compressor wasn’t working or working off and on. Saved up for a replacement at $1700 to $2000 dollars. The mechanic found the compressor relay was bad saving us $1000+. We will continue to take our vehicles here. Can’t say enough about their integrity. Thanks Intercoastal.

Found out that I had a nail in my tire late last night, which is Friday was worried I won’t be able to get somebody in to fix the tire on a Saturday due to everybody closed. Found this place, used to in the past didn’t have issues called him up they were able to get me in and out and within 5 to 10 minutes JD handle me in the front and Carlos did the repair. I was in and out so fast so glad they are only around the corner. The plug that they placed is thicker than what you would normally get at say AutoZone or the store very pleased with the plug hopefully at last me until I need new tires

I called and asked if I could get an inspection today, and they gave me an appointment 40 mins from the time I called. Perfect. I got to the shop and was greeted by friendly faces, and a really cool atmosphere with retro kind of decor. I was super surprised when they said my inspection was complete about 15 minutes later! We had a car breakdown in Leland NC and Intercoastal was the highest recommended on the Google search. Our experience with them was extraordinary ! We had the car towed there and left it with them . They called after they diagnosed the problem but before they did anything to confirm it with us. They fixed the problem quickly and reasonably and to our surprise since they are a Napa service center, it comes with a warranty! Great service and a good value. 5 stars!

Got a new set of tires from these guys for my diesel truck. I have been doing some repairs on it and mentioned to them that I was unable to get my rear caliper off to complete a brake repair job. These guys took care of it for me quickly and at an excellent price. Charges were very fair for labor and for the tires. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
