They change my headlight in 10$ quickly, and their price for changing thermostats is the best among a few I inquire. Their service is great. Recommend this place. Note: you may have to wait a few days if they are busy.

John and Johnny have been my mechanic for quite some now and every time I have been impressed with the results. I have had a problem that has been plaguing me for about 4 months now. My check engine light kept coming on and I went through various experts to seek the matter out. First I was told it was the spark plugs, then the gas cap, then the dealer gas cap. Come to find out, it was a check valve that has been warped. He ordered it from the dealer and installed the part which completely fixed the issue and he quoted me a stellar price. The only negative comment that I can say is that he is ALWAYS SLAMMED. He hired a new guy but that shop can easily use one more but I cant complain because that means he gets lots of business. The problem has been finally fixed and I passed the Ga emissions tests after 4 months of this perpetual issue. Now, I can get my long overdue expired tags fixed and travel to see my family!!! THANKS JOHNNY

The mechanic is top rate worthy. He addressed the main issue and then followed up on other minor issues without me having to remind him which to me says allot. What it shouts is that not only was he listening, he also cares enough to make my concerns his too. Cost is high, quality is higher. Highly recommend this shop and the mechanic!

I was recently looking up alternative options to my normal mechanic (Bavarian Imports) just because I feel the prices get a high at times. I came across J&J Auto and read through almost all of the reviews. After reading back to back to back good reviews, I figured I'd give it a try. This is a small shop, but SO worth it. Johnny was thorough with his work, and the same issue that my previous mechanic said was a $900 job, Johnny told me was very minimal and didnt need to be addressed. So that was the first pro. The rest of the experience was a pro; he was knowledgeable, fixed my issue, and my bill wasnt too bad at all. He also replaced my headlight bulb; which just a week prior NTB told me completely fused and required a whole headlight component. All in all, Im happy with the work that was done, happy with the service, and happy that I have a new place to bring my BMW. Taking a chance on this mechanic was worth it!

John was very helpful, accommodating, and fast. He didn't require an appointment for the assessment. He had the part that my car needed delivered by the next day. And he had the repair done in a couple of hours. The price was less than the dealership quoted me. And he even fixed another problem at no additional cost. I would definitely take my car back to him.

I own a BMW X5 and on Sunday June 5, 2022, I heard a noise come from under my SUV that sounded like a train coming to a hault. I was terrified and I thought the worst of what I may be facing in parts and repair cost. The next morning, I dropped my X5 off to J and J Auto Repair. I explained my experience to Johnny and he simply and calmly told me to drop it off and he'd call me. Two hours later he told me I was ready to go. Fearing the worst, I arrived back at the shop credit and debit cards in hand anticipating an astronomical bill and I paid a fraction of what a BMW shop would charge for the service repairs he performed. J and J is GOD SENT!!!! I recommend their service to any German, Domestic or Import vehicle owner in Atlanta. I've been a customer since Northside drive, when he helped my fix my wife's car. First time at J & Js, wonderful experience. Very courteous and thorough, something I appreciated specifically is they didn't try to hook me up with random “fixes” like some auto shops do to young women who come in to shops with little auto knowledge. He double checked everything to see what was causing my issue with driving, and asked me permission before fixing it. After he finished, he let me drive it to make sure the problem was fixed. Also, very reasonable pricing. They didn’t try to overprice me or charge for anything random/unnecessary. I will DEFINITELY be coming back for any future automobile issues I run into, and I refer anyone who doesn’t have a steady mechanic to go to. The BEST experience by far I have ever had at an auto repair shop.

I’ve never reviewed anything in my life, but this place deserves it. I pulled into John’s lot this morning when my radiator blew a couple blocks away, because it was the closest mechanic I saw and had good reviews. The radiator needed replacing, so I was astounded when he called me at 2pm the same day to tell me it was done, as well as dealing with some brake issues I asked him to look at. I expected to pay more than twice what he charged me, and definitely expected a week’s wait for it to be done. I was very happy with the work, and John is an exceptionally nice person. Definitely will bring it back for any future problems! Highly recommended!!

Johnny is absolutely the best! He is honest, timely, knowledgeable, and affordable. I take my 2009 Altima to him for routine oil changes and tire rotations. Whenever something else goes wrong, I start with him and go from there. My A/C has gone out a few times and he has repaired it. About 6-8 months My transmission started acting up and because he doesn’t specialize in those, he recommend I go to a specialist. He did what he could and was honest about what he couldn’t do. An all around good guy!

This is one of the best places I’ve been! I needed my door fixed because it wouldn’t open. I got crazy quotes and dealt with some not-so-trustworthy people until I found this place. Shout out to Wayne!! While my family was traveling back from vacation on I75 we hit some debris on the highway and burst a tire. Through roadside assistance through our auto insurer, we were linked up with J & J. So grateful to be led to them 🙏🙏. Wayne pulled up promptly. He inflated our deflated spare 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ (Always check your spare before a road trip, kids 😂🤣), and changed the inoperable tire. He was so personable and was a pleasure to talk to. If it would not have been 90 degrees in addition to being on the side of a highway, I could have talked to that dude all day!! GREAT SERVICE!!

I used road side assistance and they referred this company. This man was sorry, told me he couldn't locate me, asked if I was in a parking garage or street. Then as I am on the phone I received a message that he was 21-51 minutes away. He then became rude and upset asking do I want my tire changed or not!! No customer service AT ALL! JUST PLAIN RUDE! 100 out of 10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

I am not from ATL , so i was a little nervous when i had to go somewhere new. I am so glad out of all the places i went I came here. He had so much sympathy and helped me out despite being booked up and met having an appointment . My mom is starting chemo in Mississippi and now thanks to him i will be able to make it ,and i can’t thank him enough. A lot of people lack sympathy these days ,so for him to take time out of his busy day and make that possible for me meant so much. Johnny is an excellent mechanic with fair prices and great skill—you’ll need to book ahead, but it’s worth it. What sets him apart is his honesty: he explains the problem, shows you the bad part, never makes you feel cheated. As a woman, I truly appreciate that he breaks the stereotype of dishonest mechanics.
