Larry goes above and beyond to explain what issues your vehicle has and does a great job at explaining how you to fix those issues in a cost effective manner. I enjoy using the app based system to set appointments, view estimates, approve and/or decline work to be done, etc. Automotive Training Center is an auto mechanic shop done correctly !!

The team over at ATC are hard-working and honest, with a great estimate & approval system. They mostly work on newer cars but made an exception for my vehicle. They caught a big brake issue that another shop missed. Prices are fair and communication is excellent. Call for appt, as they don't have too many bays.

Ive had my car serviced here twice (one serious issue and one minor issue) and had a near-PERFECT experience both times... From communication (Best I've ever seen from a "service" provider), to the actual work done- everything was on point and the quality showed. Their organization/mission statement/objective is also a great thing and it feels good to contribute to that.

The best part of this was the live digital invoice they use. As they’re doing the work, you get results of the inspection sent to your phone, and you can opt in or out of optional work. I usually feel nervous at car shops that I’m not getting told the whole story, or unclear on what is or isn’t optional. Not here. Definitely my new go-to car shop.

One of the best experiences I've had in a long time. Being a woman and a woman of a certain age I appreciate several things about this organization, giving back to the neighborhood while teaching and training the young technicians of tomorrow, making me feel more than comfortable during my wait and the ability to refer when they've done all they are able to do. Amazing work with amazing prices. I would recommend them highly, in fact I'm listing them in my contacts for futures services.

Love these guys and the work they do here. I made an appt with ease on their online portal and got a text from one of the guys about adjusting the time for the work I needed one. Extremely appreciate great service like this! Since they are training students, be patient with them when the work is being done and maybe even drop your vehicle off so they can fully utilize the time with your vehicle. Don’t hesitate to bring your car there, you’re making a difference by going there!

This place does amazing work at a great price. The program they use e-mails you once they've diagnosed to inform you of your car's issues. I dropped it off and quickly got notifications of issues, work scope, and when it's ready to be picked up. Honest, good work.

Larry was helpful from the start. When I arrived, his team greeted me immediately and I felt at ease. There was no lack of communication from the time I made my appointment to when I picked up my car. I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for car maintenance! Should I have another issue with my car, I will definitely return.

Good service, very transparent, and know their value. Gave me an estimate and actually stayed within the estimate. Was very timely. I went in there for certain issues, got those fixed and even more all for the original estimate because once they got underneath my hood the whole kit wasn’t needed. I had other issues arise and they took care of it for the same price. Delivered my car to me. Was very thorough and exceptional with their service! I would definitely come back and trust them with my vehicle. I salute what they are doing!

I had a wonderful experience with the Automotive Training Center. Larry was great to correspond with and patient to explain the issues my vehicle was having. They were considerate of my budget and helped establish a plan to have the repairs made while keeping the costs low by offering great prices and spacing out the repairs that were not immediately needed. They also have a nice email/text system to keep customers updated and provide recommendations and pictures of damaged parts. They have a great program with an awesome purpose and I plan to use them again in the future!

10/24 I took my 2011 ford fusion because it was shaking not shifting check engine light on ...I was first told I had to pay for them to look it over 110.00 ...they only said it needed spark plugs,v valve cover gasket, ignition coil, serpentine and V Belt...they had my car a week...after it was done it cost 854.00 ...nothing had changed car was running the exact same nothing was really fixed...come this week my birthday I need a tag so I took in in another shop on Jonesboro Rd in one day and he repaired all the mistakes and misses that Jumpstart did from spark plug to belts....so if it was good for u ok ...for me 100% waste of my money and time . I only give them a star for teaching kids ...but for repair -star

Update: Still awesome, still using them. It's awesome to be able to trust your mechanic, and these guys will get your problems sorted. But the online experience for getting your quotes and approving work makes everything super transparent, and helps that you can chat or call right from the quote page. Original Review: These guys are amazing. Great work, great prices, and they make a big impact on the community. You're not just getting your car fixed, you're also helping further the automotive education of young people in Atlanta!

Larry and his team were extremely professional and I was very happy with the service. What I found most impressive is that they share a detailed analysis (with photos) of any issues they find with the car, with quotes containing a breakdown of the individual costs associated with the repairs. You then have the option to approve or decline any of the suggested repairs. I had my oil and tires changed at a very affordable price. Everyone was very friendly and I will definitely be bringing my car back for the next service. Thanks Larry and team!

I’ve never had a auto shop communicate with me so well and so often. An amazing level of customer service. The price was also very reasonable for the work being done. Plus, they are providing an amazing service for the community??? This is my new go-to shop.

I got an oil change at Jumpstart Automotive, and they went above and beyond! Not only did they quickly complete the oil change in under an hour, but they also fixed a tire pressure sensor that a major auto chain couldn't solve. I was able to work comfortably in their waiting room while my car was being serviced. Car maintenance can be inconvenient, but getting quality service for a great cause makes it so much better. I'll definitely be coming back for any future repairs and highly recommend Jumpstart to anyone looking for thorough, reliable work!

Jumpstart Automotive Training Center is the best! Besides the fact that they do such good stuff for the kids (I work with at risk teens and we refer them to their programs all the time), you usually only pay for parts and oil, not labor. I always get my oil changed here and they just came into the waiting room and said- while you are due for an oil change timewise, you still have 1,300 miles before you need it mileage wise and your kind of car is good for up to a year. We will go ahead an do our regular inspection and check your fluid levels free of charge, but as long as you are comfortable with it, we would suggest you save the money and come back when you are closer to the 70,000 mile mark. Cannot recommend them enough!!!

Jumpstart automotive is a program that has provided my son with the skills and training to jumpstart his Auto tech career. All of the staff that is involved with the training is a blessing, they have passion to help young adults! They train them, assist with resume preparation, counseling if needed, and line them up with a job! I will continue referring young adults to this program!!

I wouldn't take my car anywhere besides jumpstart automotive training school! We've gone there for 5 years now and they've done excellent work and treated us fairly and transparently every single time. They go above and beyond, but will never perform a service on your car without your approval. I can't speak highly enough of this spot - they are fantastic.

My experience was excellent. From the clear and transparent communication to the quick repairs, I truly appreciated the entire process. It was a great experience getting my car repaired here, and I love that it’s a local shop. Even though it’s an automotive school, the quality of work and professionalism made it feel no different from a traditional repair shop. I plan to continue bringing my vehicle here and highly recommend it to others!

Super dope company. I needed to have my new shocks mounted in both of my front coil over struts and they were able to move the springs and top hats from the old set to the new one with no problems and for an amazing rate. While there waiting for the work to be done I got to chat with the founders and discovered they’re actually a nonprofit that trains younger adults entering the workforce by giving job site experience with extremely hands on learning in small class sizes so they can go on to be mechanics at local auto shops and dealerships which is really cool. Even cooler is that they offer this learning for free to their students subsidized partly by their shop rates and donations. Super lovely staff and a really cool and unique idea for a nonprofit.
