I purchased tires from Tirerack online and saw that there were a few places listed as "Tirerack approved" installers and found they were on the list, so I called and brought my tires in. Having never done my alignment either, I told them to do that as well. While they were doing my alignment, they found out that my car needed the control arm bushings replaced (2014 subaru forester XT, 94k miles) but not only one was worn, there were multiple, so they suggested to replace the control arm assembly since the other parts (ball joint tie rod, etc.) Might fail as well over time, so I decided to have them just change the control arm assembly altogether. I did some research and the wear and tear was consistent with what I was told, so it wasn't like they wanted to upsell me vs actually needing the replacement. I'm notoriously not great with getting car serviced other than oil changes. They did all the work for a reasonable and fair price within a few hours. Now my car drives as smoothly as new. Definitely happy with the work and cost because I need this car running as long as possible these days.

Always have had a very detailed diagnostic from this place. Within a day's time they were done and had my vehicle ready by the end of the day, with the exception of bringing my vehicle in early when the business first opens up. Thanks for the speedy service and excellent customer service .

Excellent and honest. I brought my car here for transmission sensor issue. They replace and offer to not charging labor cost if I do transmission service as it is due. Love it! other places would charge two separate even though they access the transmission anyway.

Incompetent shocks installation in 2015. They gave the car back to me with every single dash light lit up. J & K didn't care if it was broken, unsafe, whatever. I have 2 little kids too. After taking it back 3 times, and the car was finally drivable but had a loud rattle in the wheel area. I was ready to just pay someone else to end the nightmare. Heavenly Auto took apart the shocks and removed the loose screw that caused the noise. Heavenly didn't charge me, BUT asked me to change my Yelp review of J&K because J & K paid Heavenly $100 to give to me. Heavenly pocketed the cash, and proceeded to give me horrible service for 2 years. I'm done with both places. Don't ever take your car here. Rex Auto in the Sunset is an honest car mechanic.

Came to this place several times for tire replacement and repairs and they always taking good care of the matters. Service is very consistent and the guy is very friendly. Most important, they won't trick you like most shops do. Always tell you up front what need to be fixed. Highly recommend

Talking to the boss of this place, almost upsetting me I can’t believe this guy he told me to basically go and borrow tools from O’Reillys and do the brake job myself. He was trying to charge me over $500 for my 2002 Toyota Avalon to just do the front pads, I can’t believe this guy. I wish you nothing but the best brother but you have horrible customer service skills.

I can't thank the owner enough! I was about to buy a car from someone in Daly City. I called this shop for PPI but I was there too late (4.45pm). Yet the owner made an exception for me and helped me checked out the car when the shop is about to close. It turned out the car's odometer was rolled back to 130k from 300k miles, and the catalytic converter was an after market one. He saved me from a lot of headaches and money with a very bad car I was about to buy. The best thing was how he showed his professionalism and honesty in his work. You can even feel it when you talk to him and I admire it so much! He even charged me only $50 instead of $125 like his normal price. This is the best auto shop I've ever been to. Trust me!

If I could give J&K more than 5 stars I would! They have worked on my BMW and my Suburban in the past. Fast repair, never had an issue with their work and very upfront with the pricing! Would highly recommend and definitely the shop I'll be taking my cars to for future maintenance and repairs.

Avoid. Sucker/predatory pricing. Price shop first. Water pump repair was $1,400. Found out after that the standard price (based on phoning nearby repair shops) $375-$850 and $1,000 max for Audi. Received three follow-up quotes for $1,000. All of these garages had similar or higher ratings. Example, they charged $50 for coolant. Yes, the same coolant that I purchased the previous day for $19. And, they did not fill it completely. I had to top it up. They claimed it took 8 hours to repair. The place opens at 9 am and they phoned at 2 pm that it was done. 5 hours. Strongly recommend competing quotes. Or avoid.

My van needed to pass Smog but d check engine light came on with several other warning lights. With a diagnostic, J&K repaired & installed parts quickly with no hassle. Also, J&K warranty everything for a year at a reasonable affordable price. Yes, I would return & will refer others as well. A very community oriented shop.

Stay far away from this place of business. You will be overcharged and your car will be damaged. If you get your car towed here like I did, they will not give you a prior estimate before starting work on your vehicle, they will do the work without you knowing and will overcharge you when you come to get your vehicle. Scammers to the max, dishonest, untrustworthy! They did a $300 dollar job and charged $600. Did not even contact me to let me know they were starting work on my vehicle or anything. Plus damaged the bottom of my car and blamed it on AAA.
