I stopped in here with some car problems while out of town. They looked at my car and diagnosed the issue. They also helped me get it working better with some quick fixes. They were extremely nice and professional. If i lived closer im sure these guys would be my mechanics.

Let me start by saying I'm completely moronic about cars. Tried to call and ask for a quote on how much a repair would be on my boyfriends' car. I know nothing about cars, I don't know what to say, what to ask, or how to go about any of this other than what my BF told me was wrong with it. The car broke down a few weeks ago with no warning and I had no idea what to do. My boyfriend is a mechanic for the air force, but he's currently stationed overseas till April so I'm completely on my own here. Instead of even trying to understand and help me, the guy on the phone made me feel like an idiot for even asking. Maybe I am. But he didn't have to be such a guy about it. I needed help, not to be put down and made to feel stupid. It's early and Friday so I'm sure he's sick of stupid questions from people like me. But that's part of the job dude. Based on customer service alone I'm going elsewhere. *I knew what was wrong with the car and the basic information. I've just never had to find a mechanic before. I grew up with four brothers and now my BF takes care of it. But apparently this is just how mechanics talk to women. He could've had a little patience, asked for the info he needed and walked me through a basic assessment and possible pricing. Instead he snapped at me with a snarky attitude.

Joe and his son have been taking care of my cars for about 20 years. Completely trustworthy and they never overcharge. Today I had a work truck towed in that had run out of gas on the highway. They reccommend 5 gallons of gas then jumped it for us at no charge.

What a remarkable place. I came in with my Prius unannounced on an early Monday morning & asked if they could do a full brake job on my front end. Mr. Joe & his son allowed me to stay & watch as they worked their magic.While waiting for the pads & rotors to arrive, Joe prepped my car, inspect all 4 brakes, inspected the undercarriage, and got everything situated. As soon as the parts came in, he was done in less than a half hour. The price? Unbeatable. Less than any other mechanic in the city. Additionally, I had some misgivings about a ticking sound while driving uphill & Joe took the car for a spin to try & replicate the noise, relieving me of more serious, unnecessary repairs. Whereas any other mechanic would have looked to upsell on my initial fears, the profound integrity shown by this family owned business just goes to show why they've been in business for over 5 decades, and for this city's sake; many more decades to come. Thank you Mr. Joe, & thank you J&M!
