My sons car just was impounded literally within 2 hrs of me posting this. The police just told him around $75 if he goes and gets it now. The guy who's sitting his lazy ass at the shop tells him it's gonna be $200! He's charging him as if he left it there for 2 additional days because he stated "We're closed til Tuesday!" Yet he can pay $200 today and get his car! I thought they were closed?!?! Total Scammers!!!! The police shouldn't call them to impound cars, they should arrest them for robbery!! Horrible people!!

They make it sound simple but really it's all sugar coated to sound good but it is extortion plain and simple. They will talk you into signing over your car and it doesn't matter how bad or good of condition your car may be in. If the car is in bad condition they will scrabe it to the junkyard if it's in good condition they will send it somewhere where they will get paid for it and they will put the car up for auction. Sorry to burst your bubble🖕

I purchased a vehicle from J's Auto and paid with a check. A few hours after I drove the vehicle off the lot, I received multiple calls from the salesperson saying he believed I wrote a bad check and he wanted the car back. If I didn't prove the check was valid he was going to go to the police and claim I stole the car. Nothing could have been further from the truth. I've never been so insulted in my life to be accused of being both a liar and a thief on a false notion. Then to be harassed continuously until I proved to J's Auto I was good for the money.

I am IMPRESSED ! I purchased an older Suburu from Justin and love it. I needed a few things done at the Utica repair shop and Jim and Justin were incredible in taking care of me immediately. They were professional and really went above and beyond - better than any new car dealer I have dealt with. They answer phone calls and text messages immediately and seem to be always there to help. I would refer them to anyone if you are looking for a great used car dealer.

PLEASE do not buy from J's Auto. I bought my 2007 Subaru from them just over 2 years ago. Within the first 2 weeks I had the vehicle the motor blew in it on my way to New York City (more than 5 hours from home) and I had to replace the entire motor. He was completely unhelpful in this situation. I called him to talk about why this might have happened to car that he assured me was road ready. I didn't receive any help from him or his company. I replaced the motor. Less than 2 months with the vehicle my transmission went. I had to drop a new transmission into the vehicle, again with no help from J's Auto. Ive now had the vehicle for approx. two and a half years and have put thousands and thousands of dollars worth of repairs into this car and still owe more than 6k on a 2007! One of the tires had a slow leak in it that I had to replace immediately after buying, and with AWD vehicles if one tire goes all of them should be replaced. It's been a nightmare! Please save yourself the headache.

I highly recommend NOT using this company. They charged me $250 to tow my car 3 miles. If they're charging that for a tow, I cant even begin to imagine how jacked up the rest of their prices are. There are many other reputable shops in the area that are not money hungry and aren't hanging out in the back pocket of the local police.

I've had great experiences with J's anytime I've been there. Whether it be for maintenance, tires or inspections. Always awesome service and great people. I also had a great experience with J when I bought my new car there. All around great place and great price, definitely worth checking out.
