Domestic or import... No matter where I get my cars from, whether I need tires, a repair, and simple inspection J&S is my to go to place! Their service here is quick, professional and to the point of your vehicle problem. No upsell here! They will let you know their findings and recommend additional fixes if your vehicle needs it but there's no pressure to proceed with it if you can't afford it at the moment. I won't go anywhere else.

I visited the shop for the first time myself today, being new to the area. I brought them a very strange and difficult to diagnose problem on my Subaru Forester, and as an ex mechanic myself, I'm really impressed. They spent a lot of time, even using three guys at once to drive the car on a lift and diagnose the problem, accurately, before replacing any parts. Many auto mechanics don't take the time to accurately figure out what the problem is, they just start selling you parts until they get the right one and fix it . These guys do not do that . As a guy who's been on the inside before, these guys are legit and honest, and I would recommend them.

These guys are amazing mechanics! After going to several repair shops that could not figure out what was wrong with my car, these guys figured it out and had a report for me within minutes, then had me on the road in 3 hrs which was understanding considering the work that was done. Reasonable repair costs, quality work, very kind staff & means you have me as a customer for life .. highly recommend

NEVER AGAIN WILL I RETURN. I went to get exhaust repair and a week later exhaust was back to when I first brought it to them. I took my car back to them and they fix one problem and mess up another. The mechanics have no idea what they are doing. The noise is even worse now and another noise came up. Then I took it to Mervin’s Exhaust and they took picture of the sloppy job they did to show me. What a terrible sloppy job I couldn’t believe it. They also tried to tell me I needed the whole exhaust done and the manifold. That was a lie thank goodness I took it to someone else. They told me manifold was in good shape. Don’t take advantage of people. If you do the job correctly you will win customers!!!

I have taken my vehicles to J&S for over 13 years and have NEVER had an issue with repairs or customer service. The owner always goes above and beyond. It’s a family owned business and it shows in the way the customers are treated. Excellent shop with even better people. I highly recommend!

People don’t even deserve a 1 star. My boyfriend was going there for his Smart Start appointments and the lady that does the Smart Start appointments (interlock) both times never showed for his appointments. She told him that he needs to work with her schedule and that she can’t work around anyone else’s schedule so he calls her and asks her if she would be available at a specific time and day and she said yes that time works perfectly well he goes that time and day and she’s not there. So the husband starts snapping on my boyfriend calling him names and proceeds to follow my boyfriend out of the building trying to instigate something. Don’t not support this ignorant lazy business.

My experience was one of a kind. Had work done previously at another mechanic and they were charging my a lot to get my car where it needed to be for inspection. These guys took my car in, found the previous mechanic had faulty work, and gave me and even better deal to redo the work and finish the job. Was very upfront with what was wrong and even showed me the faulty parts. All While getting it inspected in a timely manner. Could not be more satisfied with my experience. 100% recommend.

Don't go to this place , especially if you are a female. They stole $7,000 away from me back in 2009. They will not fix your car. They are theives. They did not fix my car at all. The Hindu man or Indian guy who owns this place is a swindler. He claimed all these false fixing he did in my car and didn't even fix my car at all. I pray to God they go out of business and lose lots of money. The star I gave them, they don't even deserve that. I wish I knew someone who can help report this shop and reimburse us our money.

This shop is amazing! honest hard working mechanics who know what they're doing isn't always easy to find. We had car problems with our car and stopped in to get an automotive check out the car. Not only did they fix our issue but helped us even though we showed up 30 minutes before the shop was closing! I fully expected to be turned away but they worked on my car even after closing time to get me back on the road fixed and ready to go. Pete was very polite and willing to help. It's places like this that restore my faith in humanity. Hands down, I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone! Thank you J & S auto shop!

My Family and I have been taking our cars to J&S Auto for years. They are the only one I trust to be honest and fair mainly due to the owner Perter. Unfortunately since since it absence I will no longer bring business here or recommend it. I know things changed since his passing and it is under new ownership. The overall all genuine and cared for service I once received is gone. Out of loyalty I was anted to still support however now the treatment and service I received is subpar, and they even referred me to another auto shop up the street. I live to far now far now for it to even be worth it and deal with the obnoxious receptionist.

After reading a few of the negative reviews I would never have even considered any service at this shop. However, this is indeed a case where you cannot judge a book by its cover. The customer service I received was excellent. They treated me with importance and were outstanding in communication. I was concerned about the pricing but found that too was very reasonable for the services I needed performed. Will continue to use them for my automotive repairs moving forward.

This place is straight trash and unprofessional, two times I had an appointment to get my car calibrated and both times they screwed me over either closed or the person that does it not there and nobody else wanted to do it, yelled at for telling them that they are unprofessional and they proceeded by calling me a drunk and that it’s not there problem and that they hope I get locked up, Then the guy tried fighting me while I was trying to leave. Honestly 1star does not do this justice this place is horrible!

Sooo...I brought my car in due to a coolant leak. The heat from the engine burned out my starter. Which I was skeptical about at first when they told me it needed to be changed. I thought maybe I was being ripped off. I looked it up online and verified this was a problem with my make and model car. I got my car back, and I had to leave this review. I feel so bad complaining at the desk about the starter replacement. The car starts so powerfully like it never has. It's a performance sports car, I didn't realize what I was missing until it was replaced. The office manager was polite and friendly the entire time with me even though I was questioning the validity of needing the repair. I would definitely recommend using this place.

I took my car here which has (and still does have) an issue were there is a rattling sound coming from the front end. Went to other mechanics and they couldn't figure out the problem. So I tried here. They were extremely confident that the issue was the ball joints, control arm and tie rod (which I was told by a previous mechanic that those were all fine but what do they know). Since I just got the car it's my first ever sports car and I love it I decided to let them fix it. Few days later I picked up the car and was told that the issue has been repaired. Cost was $1,450. First thing I noticed was my tires which are only 2 months old had some ah "added" wear. 2nd my dash cam was disconnected apparently about a minute into their test drive. But the main thing I noticed was that the problem was not fixed. And after further use of my car I now noticed not only does it still have a rattling sound now it also shakes at highway speed. So ya I'd stay away
