My favorite shop in town.i took my first car a Suzuki XL7 there once for a power steering pump replacement. I just took my Jeep for new brakes and they called me back to tell me I didn't even need them as they still had a lot of life in them. Talk about being honest and professional.

They have had our car for over two weeks. Called nobody picks up. They didn’t return phone calls. When we did finally here from they said the were really busy and apologized. I get it. But two weeks with no answers...come on. Unprofessional! Update Been back Jim Althouse. He’s turned out to be one of the best mechanics we have dealt with i. Berks Co. After our first issue was rectified.

Jim and his mechanics are great! They are HONEST and AFFORDABLE. I brought my Jeep here after another local garage was trying to screw me out of over $4000 for work that didn't need to be done. Jim and his mechanic were honest and for the other things that were wrong, I was charged a very affordable rate and I am very happy with the work. They got it done when they said they would. I will be coming back here for any/all repairs and inspections. I finally found a mechanic I can trust and that is affordable. Maybe now I won't have to do as much of my own work and can let Jim and his mechanics do it instead.
