Despite discounting clutch work on one of our vehicles, they failed to mention that they messed up on their end and damaged the transmission. They are nice folks but it was disappointing to have that happen and have it end up costing us more than we needed to in all reality. They have their strengths and weaknesses, it just depends what vehicle you take to them.

I really, really hate to mess up your wonderful reviews, and the first time I called (a few months ago) the owner’s wife was so pleasant and kind. She made an impression on me. This phone call was a different story. I just had some basic questions, and before I could even get a sentence out, the young man would hang up on me. He wouldn’t identify himself and every time I called back, he hung up on me. He even hung up on the middle of me leaving a message. What in the world?? Times are tough, and I’m new in town. As a single woman, I need somewhere reliable to take me car and had starred ⭐️ this number in my phone. But alas….starting over again. Y’all need to watch who’s answering your phone. This is horrible for business and word of mouth advertising. 16 calls and each one was disconnected. A shame…

I was literally stuck I had somebody work on my car they did a bad job they messed it up they left it halfway apart left me hanging and I just need my car I have COPD and I have to have my car I can barely get from my door to my car door so I couldn't like walk to the store or anything anyways. James came to the rescue thank God came over fixed my vehicle did a great job was not super expensive at all and I didn't even have enough money to cover the part so he trusted me to pay him so I paid him like a week later but anybody that wants to take their car to J&T Automotive that's the place to go the guy is honest he does good work and he doesn't screw you. I will never take my car nowhere else now. I give him 10 stars out of five❤

Went to see James the day after Christmas and despite him not being technically open (was just at his shop cleaning up) he was more than willing to help put new rear brake shoes on my Honda civic. As someone who doesn’t have intricate knowledge on cars, James reassured me every step of the way and even gave me advice on what to work on for preventative maintenance. He is an honest and super reliable mechanic and would 1000% trust him to work on my car any day of the week :) if you are hesitant to reach out to him, don’t! He is very reliable, knowledgeable, and will work with you to get you back on the road :)
