I have to write one more... My mother was in the process of buying a car. This is a taxing and stressful time (especially for women). When she found the car she thought she wanted she took it to Jacobsen who warned her not to buy the car, and she didn't. One day she saw the car salesman, and he told her, "Oh, Ms. James. I'm so glad you didn't buy that car..."

I'm a mechanic by trade and this is the only shop I trust my cars to. Friendly staff, honest about the repairs needed, and reasonably priced labor. Thank you guys

I've been a customer over 20 years. They are happy to show me what they repaired, explain price quotes, and answered questions about using re-manufactured and new parts. No TV in the reception area but I have coffee in the morning.

New management is ruining this business. Parts are marked up 2x the original price, I checked. This use to be an honest place to bring your vehicle, with no upcharges, not anymore. It's a shame that this family owned business has started to do what all of the other shops do, greedy overpricing.

I visited this place today for a 2 year break tag. Upon entering I was not greeted by either of the two workers. I stood there waiting for about 2 minutes as they talked amongst each other about something costing $300 per person. I was becoming slightly agitated but still stood there waiting patiently. By this point a lady worker walked in. Just as I reached my breaking point a white male walked into the shop; in which he was immediately greeted and asked how could he be helped. The lady worker stopped the man from continuing and pointed to me. I informed him that I would have been very upset if he would have skipped me. The man never apologized for having me wait so long before acknowledging me. I did not purchase a break tag from here because I refuse to give money where I've been mistreated.

Found the engine problem and fixed it in one day, even though there were a bunch of vehicles there for repairs. When we picked up our Ford Escape after we got off work at 5 PM, there was only 1 car in the lot left to be picked up by the owner. These guys don't mess around. They are true professionals.

My go to for anything automotive unless covered by factory warranty. Great people and have always stayed in touch about repairs being done. They can get a bit busy so expecting an immediate repair may be unrealistic.

We were on the road to New Orleans and the check engine light came on. The car was running fine and all its gauges were normal. Better safe than sorry. I called Jacobsen’s and said I’d be there in the morning. I popped in 5 minutes before they opened at 8am the next day and Eddie was happy to help. The garage was full of cars so they clearly have many customers! John explained the business has been in his family for three generations! They were friendly, professional and helpful even though I was clearly from out of town. What did they charge me for the diagnostic? Zero! Life is good with professional helpful service from a third generation local shop.

We came in having car troubles and they went out of there way to help me and explain that the troubles might just be the faulty sensors. He even drove my car around the block to make sure! They are amazing 🤩

Jacobsen's replaced an intake manifold gasket. Look at the pics& see what happened. When replacing the manifold the harness wire to the O2 sensor was crimped. This triggered the check engine light. Coolant flowing through the manifold leaked through the crimped gasket into the top of the engine. There was white emulsion under my oil cap. Their repair was never fixed.

I am a deer in headlights when it comes to automotive stuff. I went in to get assistance with my daughter’s car and they could not have been nicer. Very professional, honest, and most of all did not try to sell me on things I did not need. I would bring any in all business to Jacobson!
