I got a truck and not long after had issues with found out the "warranty" wouldn't cover the issues. It was an intermittent issue that would only happen sometimes so I had to take to them 3 times but they where super kinda and informative about what was going on. When the the problem finally showed up for them they got it fixed and the price was very fair in my opinion. Definitely recommend them if you have any issues!!

These guys are fantastic. They do actual diagnostic work, which is RARE in automotive repair. Diagnostic repair can be slightly more expensive on the front end, because it takes time. But, you save $$$ in the long run, because they find/fix the actual problem. They don't just throw parts at a problem. They diagnosed and repaired our 2014 Ram Promaster Motorhome and I could not be happier with their work.

I’ve been going here since August of 2024. My first time I went and found Jak-D automotive was due to a check engine light turning on right before I needed to drive 2 hours away for an important surgery. I went to autozone first which then led me to jak-d. I went and they topped off my oil and reassured me that I would make the drive home, which I did! After that interaction, I haven’t strayed. I called my dad and quote for quote said, “ this is a place you would trust taking care of me and my car.” I could rave about this team forever, but truly I highly recommend them. They are honest and hard working, and won’t unnecessarily upsell. If you’re looking for a shop, especially one that works on European cars as well, jak-d is it!

My wife and I were on a short getaway at the Hamilton Place near Chattanooga when our car broke down on New Year’s Eve day 2025. We called five or six garages in the area to see if they could look at it since we were out of town and in a bind and all of them said they wouldn’t look at it until Friday and some said even later than that (this was a Wed). I called Jak-d and the individual I spoke to said he would look at it in the morning, on New Year’s Day. We had it towed to his garage and he looked at it on New Year’s Day and fixed it; it was a minor issue but kept the car from driving. He texted me that morning and I took a Lyft to his garage to pick up the car. The car was ready and he wouldn’t take any money for his time and labor, which was not expected and completely unheard of in this day and age. The bottom line, he helped us when we were in a tough situation and was extraordinarily kind on top of it, we were so grateful! Integrity, honesty, great workmanship, great customer service! This place has earned a new customer! After going to a shop who did multiple inspections and missed a major issue, another shop who lied to me and diagnosed a different problem that would have cost me $1000 and not fixed my issue and could have caused a serious accident, JAK-D physically and visually inspected my vehicle, did a test drive, showed me the problem, and promptly fixed the issue. Their prices are very reasonable and their work was quick. My problem is solved. Go to this place if you want good service and good work done.

I highly recommend JAK-D for your auto needs. Not only did they quickly and efficiently replace/repaired our oxygen sensor, but the root cause, which ended up being our dealership’s error who sold us our vehicle. Plus, took the time to locate a “known issue” with the passenger seat - which the dealership was stirring us for more expensive repairs. I had an amazing experience with Mike and the entire team at Jak'd Automotive. I drove 3 hours to have them perform a pre-purchase inspection on a vehicle, and they uncovered several major issues that I absolutely would not have noticed on my own. The sellers had insisted the car was in perfect condition with no problems. When Mike calmly pointed out the issues, the sellers were shocked and, unfortunately, became extremely rude to Mike and his staff—even though the team was simply doing exactly what I'd hired them to do. To make matters worse, the sellers left a negative review on Google despite never being customers themselves. I sincerely hope Google removes it or that they do the right thing and take it down. Thanks to Mike's thorough and honest inspection, we avoided buying a vehicle with serious hidden problems—or at the very least, we went into the purchase with eyes wide open. Mike even took the extra time to explain what it would cost to bring the car up to the condition the sellers claimed it was in, which helped us make an informed decision to still move forward. The inspection was incredibly detailed, very reasonably priced, and the whole team was professional and kind throughout. It's a shame their shop received an unfair review for doing such outstanding work. I can't recommend Mike and Jak'd Autobody highly enough—if you're buying a used vehicle, they're worth the drive!
