Lack of proper communication over the issue my vehicle came into the dealership for . Followed by a week without my vehicle over a power steering pump and parking sensor.

Honestly way to much to type about my experience with the service department. Let's just say I should have been paid to work here. I was here like 4 times in the last 2 weeks for at least 4 hrs everytime. Yes they finally "fixed" the problem after I demanded that something was wrong but now that I've had the car and been driving more my vehicle still isn't completely fixed. Honestly have no idea at this point if it's even worth going back bc I feel it is just going to be a complete waist of my time. I have tried calling the manager and emailing with no response. I guess I need to call corporate and see if anyone will be able to help me actually get my vehicle fixed.

They took good care of my truck. Got an electrical issue diagnosed and corrected in cooperation with GM. They kept me informed via sms.

New to the area, I found your service center courteous, professional, on time, and on budget. Can't ask for much more. Thank you for making my first experience with your dealership and excellent one.

It took over 3 hours to remove and replace tires. The tires were covered in white stuff that I had to clean myself when I got home. The wait time and lack of care for how the job looked had me pretty peeved. Otherwise the work seems to be done correctly so can’t complain there.

The associate that worked with me did not have a compassionate bone in her body. She was not helpful with providing solutions when I found out it would be almost a week before my car was repaired. When I bought the car I paid for a warranty to cover any unexpected repairs. The warranty came with a $200 copay which is reasonable. However on this visit I was advised that because you had increased your labor costs, the cost of parts had gone up and you no longer did your warranties in house that the total for my repair would be over $1,300. When I paid for this contract no one said hey our labor cost might go up in the future so we might be lying to you about the $200. This is a very dishonest business practice. It has definitely shattered my faith in your organization and made me question if I need to take my business elsewhere on my next purchase of a vehicle. Trust is important in any transaction and this definitely broke my trust. Prior to this, my experiences have all been exceptional. I was very disappointed say the least. I did escalate this and ultimately you did honor the contract. But now I have to question how many other people have you been dishonest with? How many other customers have you betrayed? It's just bad business to go back on your word especially when there's a signed contract in place. You're outgoing message when you call the dealership says that you're there to take care of the customer but I'm not sure I believe that anymore.

It was good until my service was completed, then I was told that wound be $116. The system didn’t show the 1st service was free, neither did it show my service contact nor extended warranty because I choose the GM plan so I could get service at any other location since I live in Georgia. After they checked with financial they brought me copies of where I had the contracts to keep in my dash. It’s sad I will need to show for each service or problems that arise.

Nice people but the service itself is not good. This is based on a few service visits. I was an idiot and bought a service package from them so now I feel obligated to go to dealership for service. Despite having appointments and only coming in for oil changes/rotation, every visit pushes 4 hours or more. They tell me at first it'll only be an hour or two, then two hours in I get the same story. One time I was told they needed to address a recall on info system and that they needed to keep it a an hour or two extra. 1.5 hours later, they tell me they won't be able to get to it that day. Oil change had been done, I was just sitting there. If you buy a car from them, DO NOT fall for the service add on.

I was kept inform about the progress for the week that my vehicle was being serviced. My service advisor Felicha Newton was great.

Matt H. Is the best service consultant that I have experienced in my 40 years of deal with service advisors. He is honest, polite, and always very friendly. He is a great go between, between the auto technicians and the service department. I aways look for him when I bring my car in for service. He always suggests preventative services but never in a pushy way. His customer service makes me comfortable having my car serviced. I wish that there were more like him.

Dropped my car off in the morning. They drove me home to East Brainerd. They did the 60,000-mile service. Picked up car in the afternoon. Everything is working fine.

Called ahead, was told that they do full synthetic oil changes for $99. Seemed reasonable to me. Went in for the oil change, nothing was said about the price which was my fault for not asking. The oil was $18/qt. that's crazy and ridiculous considering my car takes 10 quarts. You'd think that a dealership, which buys in bulk, would be able to give a better price than retail which is like $10/qt. The labor price was $25 which seems reasonable. I'd also add that the lady who helped me was very nice.

I was from out of town meeting another party to purchase a car. When the car had an unexpected issue Felisha and Jason at Mt view stepped in to help me understand the issue. When I finished the purchase they serviced the car to enable me to get home. I cannot thank them enough.

Communication with the service department is terrible. Cost $300.00 to run a diagnostic on my truck, then said it would cost over $3,000.00 to fix it. Went and picked my truck up for a second opinion, and found out it wasn't what they said it was, got it fixed for $780.00 at a different location. Also was told the warranty wouldn't cover it (I purchased the Platinum Warranty Package) and it did in fact cover it. The service department is a total rip off!

Actually I would not even give them 1 star but had to in order to post this. Not impressed at all. It cost $190+ to diagnose coolant leak. They said it was not water pump but was leaking around cam shaft sensor. Was going to cost $983 plus tax to repair. I took it some where else the next day and they replaced water pump and I saved $300. After nearly a week there is no coolant leak. I will not use Mtn View Chevrolet service depart ever again. If I had them replace cam shaft sensor I would still have a leak and would have to pay another $1000+ to replace water pump.

I want to start this by saying I was not the easiest customer to deal with, and it was not intentional. I was just genuinely stressed and freaking out. I have a 2024 Chevrolet Trax that I purchased when I lived in Rochester, NY. I recently moved back to Chattanooga and my car is currently at 35,700 miles. My factory warranty expires at 36,006 miles, so when my dashboard display and infotainment screen started randomly going completely black while I was driving, I panicked. Both screens would just shut off for up to 30 seconds at a time and then come back on like nothing happened. No warning. No trigger. Just black. I have only ever owned used cars before this, so navigating warranty and dealership service is completely new territory for me. I did purchase extended warranties, but I honestly have no idea what’s covered or how any of it works. I initially contacted another dealership because they had earlier availability, but the interaction was not great and I left feeling more confused, frustrated, and honestly dismissed. So I called General Motors and opened a case because I truly did not know what to do next. After that, I contacted Mt. View Chevrolet and that is when I got connected with Falicha in the service department. I am so thankful I made that call, and even more grateful that Falicha was the one who answered. From the very beginning, she was kind, patient, and clear. She answered my questions without making me feel stupid for asking them. She got my appointment scheduled and even worked with me when the timing conflicted with my work schedule. She told me I could drop my car off early. I was running late even for that, and she still made it easy. She sent paperwork through text so I could sign digitally and get to work on time. She later followed up with me, let me know I could reach out with questions, and when I did, she was still just as professional and helpful. The service department completed a system update and had my vehicle ready the same day. After picking it up, I noticed my music started skipping, and I reached back out. Falicha is already handling it, so I am genuinely not even concerned. I cannot thank her enough for how she handled everything. When you are stressed and unsure of what to do, the way someone communicates makes all the difference. She made a frustrating situation manageable. If you are bringing your vehicle to Mt. View Chevrolet for service, I highly recommend working with Falicha. She genuinely cares, communicates clearly, and it shows.
