Jason and Gordy have been amazing to deal with! I take both my cars there and have recommended friends and family to go there also. My Mother drives from Colchester point to get her car worked on at Jason's. Though they are not open on weekends.....they take my car in very quickly and are great about communicating in a timely manor what needs to be done and how much it costs. They are very trustworthy and I believe them when they tell me something needs to be worked on or replaced. My wife had a coupon for a free oil change at "another" local establishment. They told her that she needed over $1000 worth of work done to struts and tires (that they sold us). Gordy looked at it and told us the tires were defective and the struts were fine. He got us into a new set of winter tires that are working great! I will never go for the free oil change coupon again!

The BEST shop around! Jason, Jordan and the mechanics are honest, extremely skilled and experienced. I have had to ask to get my car fit in a few times and they have always accommodated. I know 100% that I am getting the most honest evaluation of my car and I never worry that I am being told to pay for unneeded repairs. I can't say enough GOOD about this place and it's the only repair shop that I trust now. All the usual jitters about getting my car repaired a alleviated here. Although, I couldn't get my work done since they don't do the paint jobs. The guy helping me was very nice and polite. He guided me towards the best place and was super helpful. He also aligned my passenger side mirror which was destroyed and for which I was there in the first place.

I had last gave Jason 5 stars. They put a leveling kit on my truck. Love how it looked and preformed but… yesterday my rear axle slipped on the passages side. I call them last night to let them know and to see what we can do about it. Then Jason got on the line, all he could say was that it was not his work that was the problem, he had not seen the truck, but because I got after market parts that he installed, Jason did. I gave them the opportunity to buy what they wanted and put it on. Not a problem with me. They didn’t want to. Apparently, that gives the excuse that is is not their fault. Throughout the conversation, they did not want to tow the truck they asked me to get someone else to do the tow and the work. Then he mentioned my insurance, good suggestion. I did. The work and tow is covered. Not sure if there is a something the insurance company will do to Jason Leo automotive but it by their own hand. A good company backs their work and will try to fix their mistakes, they happen. Jason refused to accept that his, jason’s work not his people, might have had a small problem but now it is not. I have pictures of the u- bolts, they are fine except half of the nuts are missing. I did expect the job to be done right the first time or adjustments after 50 miles but this place…. I will not be going back.

Performance beyond my expectations: I am a retired contractor with a 10 year old pickup truck. The truck rims are all rusted up causing slow leaks and an occasional flat tire when I don't pay attention to the slow leaks. I researched buying rims online and came up with knock-off rims for $200 each and truck tires around $240. I am so glad I called Jason Leo's first to get their advice. They informed me the rims I looked at would probably be just as rusty as my current rims within a year! They went out of their way to find me stock rims without a speck of rust and some high end tires for $188 apiece. Phew, Jason Leo's save me a pile of money and provided superior rims and tires. Oh, did I happen to mention they were chrome rims! Jason Leo's are fair and honest in their business model. They provide superior service at a better price point than other shops. I had my Miata struts rebuilt, and a 4 wheel alignment done. The work was completed within one day, was done well. Miata's are particular in regard to tightening the various parts back up, while the wheels are supported. Jason Leo's Garage understood that. Brakes n Rotors all around, ball joints, axel joints, bearings, undercoating that also went inside the frame. Pricey (but I know inflation has his this industry) at $3800.00 but they completed the work correctly, and when they said they would. Prior I had tire rotation, and oil change. Sadly they wouldn't diagnose or repair small evap leak.. but hey im on the road again.

We have never had a bad experience except for today!!! We went in to get an oil change and I asked exactly how much it would be. They told me the price and then said we will change the cabin filter so the total would be $118. I said okay and managed my budget. After all is said and done, Jordan came out and said okay that will be …. More than what he said. And we asked why is it more? He proceeded to say “we topped off all fluids” and such. So I said I didn’t ask him to do that, then he said “most ppl want that. I said I didn’t ask for that. Then he said “fine I’ll have to take that amnt off and make a note in your file that we won’t top off fluids and NEVER look at the filters.” So much attitude because I told him I didn’t ask for something. If he had of asked me to begin with if I wanted that then I would have said no, but he made an assumption because “most people want that,” that I would have as well. Just very frustrating. I always came here and had great service, maybe just an off day? I don’t know ….

I am fairly new to VT and decided to get winter tires. I couldn’t decide between snow tires or studded. Jordan was incredibly helpful and walked me through the options. I decided to go with studded which was timely since it began snowing the day I picked up my SUV! I also had a 50K service/oil change, and alignment. I am happy with everything and the pricing is reasonable. I also love seeing and snuggling with Wilson, the resident Goldendoodle! Jason Leo’s has a new customer in me. I highly recommend them!
