We have called a few locations and all were booked until next week, but we are from out of town and wanting to head back home the next day. Jerry's Automotive was the first and only place that was available today to look at our vehicle. We had the full anticipation that our vehicle wouldn't be fixed today but we wanted to make sure we were at least safe enough for a trip back home. They were able narrow down the problem and even though the whole issue could not be resolved, he did everything he could to at least make it safer to get us home safely. Absolutely polite and great experience throughout. Thank you so much!

Update to address response: To ensure its not overly minimalized; the car was dropped off with the understanding it "may" take a couple of days. No work had been initiated by like day 3 or 4 and you didn't even bother to call. Let's try not to publicly confirm my previously addressed integrity concerns. Prices- within reason Communication- almost nonexistent; customers responsibility (if he's late, can't complete contract, its not their problem) Employees- quit abruptly (aligns with the communication issues I experienced and other past customers expressed) Timeliness- you, the customer needs to follow up often to keep him on track. He seems to overbook often, forcing him to provide unreasonable timelines that he simply can't meet. Professionalism- I don't think he means to be unpleasant, but there is something off-putting. I also experienced a couple of integrity concerns, but this could be the communication piece again, because you have to engage him. He's not calling to tell you what's wrong. Quality of work- when he does get the work done, it's done right. It's just a hit or miss on when he'll actually start on your car. Overall I think he's a lazy owner. His mechanics are knowledgeable and prepared to work, and I don't think you'll beat his prices. Just keep in mind, you get what you pay for.

Diagnostic check for A/C not blowing cold air, $140.00. My compressor is shot so need a new compressor for the Freon to pass as it should. Sets me back S2.4K. TBD

Definitely scammers they charged me almost $700 to replace my spark plugs that never got replaced and a head gasket they said was about to blow…. when I took it to aamco they told me “the spark plugs were burnt only to find out they messed up a line leading to the coolant leaking fast” I asked them about the head gasket they said it’s nothing wrong with them so when I took it back to have Jerry’s shop to replace and fix because I had a extended warranty for two years. I took it back for them to fix and they told me “we won’t get to it today it’ll be some time tomorrow just leave your keys here”. How y’all don’t want to fix something y'all messed up I wish I would leave my car in their care EVERRRR again. Just wanted to save others money.

The experience here was amazing, also, in that it was a disaster from start to finish. A pleasant young man oversee's the front desk and with extraordinary politeness takes an endless barrage of irate customers without batting an eye. The shop has several mechanics, none of whom seem to communicate with anyone. Because a $5 thermostat was not replaced, the engine on my car was ruined. I hope and pray I never see or think about this place again. I suggest you go across the street to Pep Boys, where at least the work is under warranty.

Am untrustworthy and deceitful shop, went in to get estimate for simple door latch had to give $200 for part to be ordered, after reviewing the estimate with another person was advised I was being over-charged by 100's, I immediately went back to get my $ credited back only to be told they were keeping $140. this was for their "trouble". I would NOT recommend them, they are a rip-off and disrespectful to elderly for taking advantage.

So I went on a Saturday for brand new brakes and rotors, they broke off a lug nut said it was stripped , continued with the work and turned in my car without a lug nut on the driver side and said it was fine to drive like that no problem. After 4 days of driving my car i noticed it started to clank in the front as i was driving, i got to my house less than 2 mins after it started clanking and checked where they had done work and lugs nuts from both the passenger and driver side had fallen off. Called the next day they were open they took my car in and now dont want to own up to the lug nuts coming off and causing damage to my wheel and rims. He tried to blame the stripped lug but they came off from both my drivers and passengers which make no sense if the cause my pssenger had no stripped lugs so why is it missing a lug on that side then . Be careful before coming here.

After a horrible experience at a large corporate tire place that shall not be named (located on Fort Bliss close to DD) told us that I had a nail in the side wall of my tire and would take at least $120, we were recommended to go to Jerry’s. Herman (his name may have two n’s, I should have asked but forgot so if he reads this I apologize if I spelled it wrong!) helped us with the tire we needed. He was quick in the sense that you know it’s second nature to him. He was thorough, made absolutely sure that we were set, checked all the other tires, was extremely friendly yet professional, knew what he was doing, and just overall someone I’d highly recommend and would trust with not only my but also my kids vehicles. They also do other mechanical work, have used (but functional) tires if you’re in a bind and need something for ~$25-35 for your regular vehicle tires. We will absolutely be using their service again. I highly suggest using them, and please support and shop local, and please tip your friendly neighborhood mechanic when they’re awesome at their job ;)

I usually don’t have a problem getting a tire or air from this place but today I didnt understand one of the mechanics he saying I needed a new tire when I just got one , I called up my husband he knows more about cars then I do soon as I called my husband the other guy tells me I’m rude that he going to refuse me service. All because o had my husband on the phone so I ended up getting the tire with no problem but the small mechanic guy was rude then again to tells me he refuses me service I’m not allowed to come there anymore when I be spending money with this tire love for more than just a year this how they treat their customer because I wanted my husband to be on the phone

Amazing experience! Jerry and his crew evaluated my car in record time. I truly appreciated his honesty and expertise. I’m in town to welcome my military son back from deployment, and the last thing I wanted to deal with was car trouble. I noticed a loud noise when I picked up his car, and taking it to a mechanic was the last thing on my list. As a woman, it can be nerve-wracking going to a mechanic, worrying about being taken advantage of—but thankfully, that wasn’t the case here. The issue turned out to be minor and was assessed and repaired quickly. I was so impressed with the professionalism and service. I’ll definitely recommend that my son take his car here in the future!

I plugged a tire after taking a screw off, came in to get it patched because I thought it wasn't holding air. They showed me it was my sidewal that was cracked. They had many used tires for my car for different prices. Overall, it was a quick and stress free experience.
