I went here for an emissions test. The gentleman communicated it would be a pretty long wait but would try to squeeze me in as soon as possible. Which he did in half the time he originally told me the wait would be. Very friendly and efficient. I will definitely be going back for other car needs due to this interaction.

These guys work fast, they're thorough, and they're honest. Price is about the same as other shops in town, and they also didn't try to upsell me on anything which I really appreciated. Great service and communication from Abraham up at the front desk. Definitely bring your car here if you want reliable and honest work. I didn't leave wondering if they missed anything and my car feels brand new.

Worst experience I’ve ever had in my entire life. I got there right at 9 for my appointment they didn’t open until 15 minutes later I proceeded to walk in and the service advisor was extremely rude like if he didn’t want to work and I bothered him by showing up for my service. I tried explaining to him that I’m not too sure what was needed yet gave him a generalized idea of what I could need but if they could check my suv but he kept proceeding to ask me what did I need when on the website for PepBoys it states if unsure they “got it covered.” He told me to wait until a mechanic shows up which was 10 minutes later so they didn’t work on my car for another 10 minutes on top of that. They proceeded to check my car and only thing I got done which was an oil change. I paid for my service and as I left I tried using my turn signal just to realize the mechanic who worked on my car broke it because it was out of place and couldn’t be put back in i automatically did a u-turn to let them know. As I get there the advisor upset that I’m back asks what did I need now? I told them what happened and he decides to question me I told him he could go look he said he should. He looks at it and says they didn’t touch it at all. I told him it was working when I got there he proceeds to ask if I’m blaming them I said I wasn’t but if it was working with me why is it all broken when I left after getting my service done with them. He said that they didn’t break it all because “they never touched it, that someone “super strong” would have had to break it.” I said it wasn’t me and he made a face like “sure you didn’t.” I told him so how much to fix it he didn’t know so we went back inside he’s calling other pep boys stores to see if they have the part. He tells me they wouldn’t get it for two days and that they were gonna charge me $400 for labor. I told them I needed it now because I didn’t break it and he kept continuing with that they didn’t break it or touch it. I told them they did because for inspections they check turn signals lights and break lights which I saw them do. He said, “they didn’t do it hard, so it must’ve been me.” I said no I didn’t which was why I returned in the first place. He told me to get the part from autozone instead and they would replace it for free but not until the next day and continued to blame me for breaking it and that oh well it’s my problem to drive like that since they couldn’t do anything since they they didn’t break it supposedly. I am never going back to dyers pep boy’s location ever again in my life worst experience with incredibly rude and unprofessional workers who could care less about their customers safety. The mechanics name is Maximino R and the advisor would be Juan R.

Was able to make an appointment for a time within the hour and once we got there the process was really smooth. We were in and out in about an hour and a half with a set of four new tires. Additionally, they brought to my attention my breaks and rotors needed changing, when I told them I would be changing them myself they were polite and not pushy about using their service. Would recommend and use them again.

UPDATE 3.8.25- PEPBOYS store manager Abraham, on DYER st, called me and honored the coupon offer from my February email. Got my oil changed on Saturday and couldn't be happier. Abraham made it super quick, easy and convenient! Thanks Abraham for revitalizing my trust in PEPBOYS! I would stay away from the Dyer st Pepboys, if possible. Lacking competent staff and poor customer service. This location did not honor coupons/discount code from my email. I've had great customer service at other Pepboy locations here in El Paso, just not at this location. Please consider replacing management, for a better customer service experience.

My husband recently went to the Pep Boys on Dyer Street to have the oil and filter changed on our vehicle. He was served quickly, efficiently and treated to a generous discount because of his veteran status. Today we took the car back to Pep Boys because of my husband's concern relating to a potential leak. The car was thoroughly checked, no leak was found, and there was no charge We believe the service at Dyer Street Pep Boys is certainly top level, and much appreciated!

Don't go to this place unless you like being grosely overcharged or want services suggested you don't need. I went there twice for estimates. One for a simple O2 sensor replacement in which they wanted 460 bucks. Most other places will do it for 260 to 300 dollars. And the other time I was told I needed a whole front end steering service for 600.00 and in reality was only a alignment. You have been warned. Shop around......!

I took my vehicle to Pep Boys to have my AC unit serviced, and from my very first visit, Abraham has been super friendly and helpful. He understood that we’re a military family and that my husband was away for training, so he was flexible and worked with me when I needed to bring my vehicle in a few days past the warranty period. After getting the vehicle back, I noticed a small issue with the venting system. When I called and spoke with Abraham, he was again friendly and understanding. He told me to bring it right back in, and they took care of it quickly. I’m happy to say that all issues seem to be resolved, and Abraham even assured me that if I have any other problems, I can just give him a call. I’m very pleased with our decision to have our vehicle serviced here, and I would highly recommend this Pep Boys location to anyone in need of the services they offer.
