I asked for an oil change and NYS inspection. Waited the whole time and they did the usual sales pitch out in the shop where they ask to replace the air filter and also said my coolant didn’t test well and needed to be flushed. I said no and went back to waiting. The time came to pay the bill and I explained I had a coupon for the oil change and she said oh wait a minute and went out to the shop. When she came back she explained they didn’t do an oil change. Then she said they would bring it right in and do it so I said yes but watched them put it back in line. I then explained I already waited in line and didn’t have time to wait again. I left frustrated. So they will up sell an air filter and coolant flush but didn’t see it needed an oil change that they did last. It’s on there system not to mention the sticker on the window. I have call the complaint line and started the process.

My wife went there for inspection today after transfer of ownership. They told her they were gonna fail her unless they replace wiper blades. Thing is, the blades were NEW, installed a couple months ago and car barely driven. She didn't know that and paid $80 for two blades. I will be filing a formal complaint and order an investigation tomorrow, because this is a blatant, disgusting grift, taking advantage of unsuspecting customers.

This vehicle inspection experience is particularly good. Because I have just arrived in the United States for a year, I still don't know the annual inspection requirements of New York State. Today, I was reminded by my friend that my car needs an annual inspection. I was very anxious to finish it today, so I came to Jiffy Lube. Their staff enthusiastically introduced me to the relevant knowledge and gave me an accurate quotation and the waiting time. What made me most happy was that they accepted to enter the store directly without making an appointment. Everything went smoothly, and I got a new sticker half an hour later. I am very satisfied with their service.

Great place to get car inspected. Fast and friendly. Nice customer lounge. Maybe a coffee station in lounge is only thing I'd recommend. It is so nice they do inspections without appointment, since I was turned away before I went there because I needed an appointment and they were booked out for weeks. So Hoffman's is where I will be going from now on.

I went in for a carwash and a New York State inspection. The inspection went great the mechanic. Dwayne my mechanic was polite and very professional! The car wash I had the ultimate supreme wash, but the dryers weren't working properly. So I had to talk to the manager, and she said that she would honor me with a free wash in a different bay. I appreciate their service. It will be returning for any other maintenance.That I need, because it's quick and easy.

I brought my sister's car in and told the attendant I needed an inspection and an oil change, as there was a message that popped up upon car start that said it was overdue for service. The inspector called me in to tell me that it didn't pass due to the tire treads being too warn down, and showed me dirty filters and said they needed to be changed. I called my sister to approve the filter change and she did. She also asked how the breaks were as she'd recently noticed a grinding noise. The inspector asked the other mechanic in the garage, who said that the brakes were fine. When I got back into the car to bring it home, I noticed that the mechanics had left the box for one of the filters in the car, and that the service I'd requested hadn't been done, since the message still popped up. The real problem came up today when my sister brought the car to Mavis to get new tires. The mechanic there told her that her brakes were completely worn down, meaning metal was scraping against metal and causing grooves in the rotor. Which means that the mechanic at Jiffy Lube either didn't actually check the brakes or he did but didn't want to make the effort required to change the brakes. Either way we were lied to about the condition of her car, which is unacceptable.

I was eager inspect my vehicle. My Vehicle inspector was excellent gave the best advice to cleanup tinted drivers side window. Which I did went nex door to Autozone bought a scrapper and stripped off tint with my glass cleaner. I returned and informed my Tech My drivers side window is clean and should pass my inspection. He was excellent help to let get home.

I was pleased with my service, but I felt the price was a little steep, especially with having a $25 off coupon. It still came to $100. Also I see they charge you for a supply fee. Don’t know what that is and lastly, I had a check engine light on, and one of the technicians told me to talk to the manager, and he would tell me the code. I believe I talked with the manager and he said they don’t do any code diagnosing so that was a little disappointing.

Had my oil change which was approximately 30 minutes (double what they said). However why I'm giving 3 stars is because it took over 2 hours from pulling into the business, to then leaving. At first I thought the many cars coming in at one time would be faster, it actually made things a big delayed (IMO) because some cars needed more work than others. I would most likely go again, however I would certainly bring something to do while you wait.

Jiffy Lube on Central Avenue was quite crowded today. I thought the staff moved them through very briskly and were very cordial and let me know everything I needed to know about my car and inspection from the young woman at front desk to the folks in the garage. Got here at around 12:30. Finally got my car in at 1:35-1:40. Waited an hour for my car just for the oil change. Plus the additional wait time before my car. Not to mention the cars before me were only getting inspections that also took an hour. They also did not move cars out until all bays were ready, so your car might be complete but you will sit here until the other cars are also complete. Would not come back to this location. Very inefficient. Not to mention they didn’t even reset my oil service, so my car keeps saying i need an oil change. So thats cool.
