I was literally scolded first time for not getting an oil change then it turned into a new filter - and it was over 250.00 dollars later that when I left- all I asked for was just an oil change - second time yes I was many miles over a oil change- and that is on me..but now the engine needs to be flushed needs a new filter….. so instead of “just an oil change” this time now the cost was up over 312.00. So I said no just an oil change. Sounds like price gouging or upselling on things that might not necessarily be correct or true but just out to get a “sale” so that their store is rated higher. I needed the oil change for sure and again it is on me.. but there was no smile or thank you mam or just being courteous- especially when I said no just the oil change I somehow became a bad customer even though I paid 116.00- never knew oil changes were that much -I am an older person I am responsible for my vehicle but I should not have had to give an account or reason why I didn’t get it done sooner. Now if some compassion or good ole customer service had been given I would have reacted better and felt better- but for the way I was talked to both times scolded-and especially this time it scared me thinking I would barely make it up the road even though I paid 116.00 they made it sound like all they could do for me was pour oil in and hope for the best. I had a very important doctors appointment next day and I canceled because I didn’t think I would make it safely. I’m on budget and have to watch my money. Also it was very warm in the waiting room maybe the a/c not working? But it was unbearable.. I have asthma so it was hard to endure. I know I have to take care of my car. But I will never come to this jiffy lube again for the way they humiliated me. Very sad.
