I'm not one to complain. Always try to find the good and the bad. But this was by far one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever seen. They have their customer commitment right there in front of you when you walk in and I was not treated with any of those standards. They told me the car was in the back I asked where he said I don't know somewhere back there. We then find a vehicle and when we found it it was blocked in by an employee. When in and asked if he could help us he said that he has no idea and in order for him to help me we will have to wait for Kylie to come back which he is unsure when that'll be. We have an appointment we had to make and I express that I just need a solution and a please figure out a way to get this vehicle moved so we can leave. He stated again that he is unable to at this time and will do it when he has his colleague back which again he has no idea when that will be. I asked for his name so I could of course follow up with his supervisor at that time he ignored me I asked his name again he did finally answer me and stated I don't have a name. Everyone around them was smiling at how he was acting so I'm sure this is normal.

How do I start? Let me begin by saying I've been involved the car scene for a very long time now. I have very good eye for paint imperfections as I used to make a living off of it! David Bassett was my advisor, he kept me updated from day one all the way until my car was finished. Very professional! I was very hesitant about their work due to my experience, however I was wrong! The car paint is PERFECT, it matches fine, and no imperfections whatsoever! The job done by the Ellis team was very well executed! Also David Bassett hooked me up at VW for my service! Thank you Ellis team!

They "repaired" the front bumper on my Audi after a senior citizen hit me head-on in a parking lot while I was completely stopped at a stop sign. In addition to a horrible paint job (super thin), they broke about half of the plastic insert clips while putting it back together, so they just decided to hot glue it all back together. These people are HORRIBLE, but you won't know it until the paint starts chipping and pieces start falling apart.

Asked to have my car routine maintenance done before it expired, asked to have a buzzing sound and burning smell looked at after my car was rear ended. None of those things were done once I got my car delivered to me. The 360 dollars I spent to replace a tire that had a "nail" in it, once I received my car tire was still low and leaking air. Would give negative stars if I could because I kept asking to make sure it gets done before I had it shipped back to me.

Wonderful staff and expert workmanship. Nobody enjoys dealing with a collision, but Jim Ellis makes it a painless experience. They work hard with the insurance company to ensure claims are handled to the customer's satisfaction. I would recommend them 100 percent!

If you have a Genesis, stay away from this place. They don’t get their paint from Genesis. They use a third-party so you’ll never get a good match. Especially if you have a silver genesis. As matter fact, they said they couldn’t take care of my car because it was silver. I asked the service guy (Austin?) if I was screwed. The answer was, “YES!”

After an unfortunate accident, I was initially disappointed by the repair work from the first body shop I visited. **Thankfully**, I found Jim Ellis Collision – Garrett, and I couldn’t be more impressed. I needed to repair the broken rocker molding—and Garrett fixed the rocker molding flawlessly, using OEM parts. The finish blended seamlessly. He is very professional and responsible for his job!!! His attention to detail was truly outstanding and impressive. Also I really value the communication, and his communication was so outstanding. Garrett kept me consistently informed about the repair timeline and any changes throughout the process, which made me feel respected and confident in their work. I’d been struggling and extremely disappointed with several body shops in Midtown and Buckhead—they tried to scam me. But Garrett at Jim Ellis Collision turned everything around—he’s trustworthy, reliable, and skilled. I’m so glad I finally found my reliable go-to place for car repair!

Unfortunately, the customer service at this location does not live up to the Jim Ellis name or reputation. The service representatives were dismissive and lacked a customer-focused approach. Car repairs are already a stressful experience, and their attitude only added to the frustration. I called ahead to provide all necessary details insurance information, car specifics, everything to save time. However, I was still told I needed to come in person just for an estimate. After driving 35 miles, I was met with complaints from the representative about what the insurance would or wouldn't cover and discussions about my out-of-pocket costs. At the end of the day, customers are paying for a service not to be burdened with managing back-and-forth issues between the repair shop and the insurance company. The overall experience was disappointing and fell far short of what I expected from a brand like Jim Ellis.

Was not impressed by their service at all. Came in for a simple bumper repair. Was repeatedly told that I would be able to pay by the credit card of the carwash that damaged my car. I was told the repair would take 5-8 business days which was in actuality 2.5 weeks. I had to reach out to them to get any updates on the car and they often time did not return my call. Once the repairs were done, I was told that he would not accept credit card until I hassled him to keep his word. After I eventually got my car back, there was multiple places where the bumper was damaged....the same bumper that I had gone in to get replaced.

UPDATE: So Jim Ellis Collision Center DID NOT fully repair my vehicle. During their "recalibration" they somehow recalibrated the turbo-charger and now are claiming 'it wasn't us.' This car was running fine before I brought it in to them and now I'm getting codes popping up and the turbo shutting down. I'm telling you with all that I am, TAKE YOUR CAR SOMEWHERE ELSE if you can because it is always something with ALL of their dealerships and now their collision center as well. It irks me that they took a car in for repair and then gave it back with an issue non existent before they received it. So yes, next stop is my attorneys office. I'm neither here nor there when it comes to Jim Ellis Collision Center. They do and will repair your vehicle but, there's always a but with them, don't count on getting it back to you in less than 2 months or more. It's not just me saying this. Read up on them here and on other sites, and you'll find out that they love taking your vehicle in for repairs but getting it back from them is a whole different agenda. After my Alfa Romeo was 99% completed, I was told they were waiting on 1 parking sensor to arrive the next day (at this point they've already had my car over 2 months and waiting on parts is their STANDARD answer to everything). I received a call on Thursday that the part arrived and.........it would be ready Friday of the following week. Me: you need 8 days to install 1 snap into place sensor to the bumper? But wait.........I'm not done yet That following Friday I received a call that the part had been installed and the car was ready to go...............ready to go to detailing and to get the car recalibrated, and it should be ready for 'pick-up' the following Friday they think. Yeah really, that's what they said, they think. Truthfully, and I do mean truthfully, I've had bad experiences with The Jim Ellis Group in their entirety over several years. My Saab for service, one Porsche for a repair and another occasion a new Porsche for purchase that went sideways, my Maserati for service, and now this Alfa Romeo ordeal. I currently take my vehicles to other mechanics and specialty shops just to avoid dealing with them unless I have to take it to them specifically for dealer service or parts. So I can't say that they're bad guys but I can't say they're my go to either. All of this to say if it were my choice I'd avoid them altogether, but that's just me, but it's tough when they own nearly all the different luxury car brands in the Atlanta market. Just something to think about and of course just my opinion!

This is my second repair at Jim Ellis Collision Center in 3 years. The operation is the most efficient and professional I've ever experienced for automotive repair. I recommend them to everyone I know who needs any type of paint or body work. Exceptional front office staff kept me informed throughout the entire process. Hopefully you never need them but if you do - don't hesitate to bring your vehicle!

When it comes to the rental area of things, Hannah and Bill are phenomenal🫶🏾!!!!!!They gave me the ultimate care and flexibility when it came to getting a rental even without rental coverage. The part that bothered me, was the fact that Rodger made me as a customer feel bad because he did not properly explain that a tear down estimate would be upwards of $1000+. The way I interpreted it was the repairs could have me paying out of pocket. Never in all my days has a tear down estimate EVER been over $300-400 and that’s not even the repair and you won’t get your bumper put back up, and that’s WITH the insurance. So yes Jim Ellis Collision Center is awesome, but Rodger, approaching a customer to confront them about not getting repairs and claiming you explained yourself thoroughly, while in the same breath telling me another customer didn’t understand as well was not the right move. He was very snarky and condescending. But Bill and Hannah ABSOLUTELY gave white glove service as another customer said. Just didn’t like my interaction with the repair guy. 🤦🏾♀️ So BILL/HANNAH you are the reason I’m giving these 5 stars!!!!⭐️ And the ONLY reason.

Hannah Menkus was absolutely phenomenal with the rental side of the collision center. I did not even know you can drop off your vehicle for repair and take home a loaner immediately. No need for the back and forth to Enterprise or another 3rd party rental company. Would highly recommend taking advantage of the rental option at Jim Ellis Collision Center. Great people, great customer service.

If I could give this team more than five stars, I absolutely would. A huge thank you to Garrett for delivering a true white-glove experience from start to finish. I recently purchased my Porsche Macan and, unfortunately, it was hit while parked not once, but twice within six months. The first repair was handled at a different collision center, but this time I chose Jim Ellis and the difference in experience was night and day. From the very beginning, I was clearly informed of timelines and what to expect. They are a Porsche certified collision facility, so nothing but OEM parts and inspections. The team seamlessly coordinated my rental through their in-house service, and I received detailed updates including photos and videos once the work was completed. Anytime I had a question, Garrett was responsive, attentive, and available even during the holiday period, which speaks volumes about his professionalism and commitment to customer care. If I ever need service again, I won’t hesitate to bring my car back to this team. Exceptional communication, outstanding execution, and genuine care throughout the entire process. Truly a 10/10 experience.
