Works with less than honest insurance outfit out of Des Plains, Il Founders Insurance. Low balls estimates to save them money on repairs meaning they're not out for your interest as a customer. Would not recommend.

Very very poor rapport with people. He did not want to give me an estimate he told me someone must have said on my hood and scratched it I told him no the carwash did it and I've been there and told him I was getting estimates but he kept trying to convince me orsay that someone sat on it and it could be buffed out I asked him well are you going to give me an estimate he never said no he just said it need to be buffed out I walked away

Made the biggest mistake by calling this man telling him I had been into an accident and that I had never dealt with insurance before. He called me and called me telling me to bring the car to him so he could give me an estimate. After my car sat there a week he calls me and tells me I’m being charged $30 per day for “storage” not knowing when the insurance is gonna kick in I decided to go pick up my car and pay him $240 for the storage fee. I will never do business with this place again and if u don’t know anything about how insurance works do not trust these guys. Learned a valuable lesson.

I have had my cars repaired at Jim's Autobody for years. Always good customer service and very helpful with insurance issues. Loaner car available when I needed. Always keeps me informed of progress. Drop my car off when I went out of town and it was ready to go when I returned. Refer all of my friends to Jim's Autobody and will continue to do so.

Jim was very nice at first until I told him my boyfriend would do the repairs himself, then my experience wasn't so good. I needed 4 tires put on so that I could drive the vehicle after the accident so I went and purchased them at Walmart and he said he would charge me $120 to put them on...ok fair enough since you have to recycle and do the labor etc, right? Well...drove 2 miles down the road opened my trunk and there were all 4 old tires. Thank you. And...to top it all off, there was a nice big hole right by the bottom of the fender that was not there 1/2 hour before that. I would not recommend his service.

I got into an accident, before I dropped my car off everything was fine (besides the part where it was hit) my car was hit on the passenger side, when the car was returned to me, the sensor to my hood was broken, paint on the drivers side was peeling off. When brought up to them, he stated that his mechanic told him my sensor was already broken prior to the drop off which then I showed evidence showing it wasn’t, I do not recommend. Instead of fixing the mistake they caused he said they couldnt do anything about it, but was more than happy to fix it if I paid for the service. I ended up going somewhere else .. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND

Would NOT recommend taking any car to this place. Took my car here to get fixed, just for them to take 2 months to “finish” the job. AND when we got the car back, there were damages that they claim they didn’t do & would not fix. I recommend going anywhere else but here.

Jim's Autobody repaired my 4Runner after hitting a deer. They repaired it quickly and made it look better than before the accident. They even went above and beyond to touch up paint that was chipped on other areas of the vehicle unrelated to the accident. Jim was kind and communicated well before and during the repairs. Highly recommend them for any autobody needs!

I dropped my car on a Friday and Jim had one of his guys. Drop me back at work in his personal vehicle and I was impressed by how clean this vehicle was. And when I asked this guy said that he detailed his personal vehicle every Friday. Fast forward three weeks later i was called that my vehicle was ready. And i ask.\nWas it clean and ready to go?and i got drop off to pick it up, I was shocked. The inside and the outside was covered with body shop dust. I talked to Jim and he said his guy said it was ready to go and he'd call me back. No call back. No, nothing 91. And should I question the quality body Worked that I had done and paid 4k for
