I'm new here in town, and not being a fan of dealerships after several bad experiences over the years, I didn't know where to start with an anti-lock brake issue as well as a non-functioning heat seat system. I called around, talked to a few places, but was by far most impressed with the cordial and conscientious response I got when I called and talked to Joe. He won the phone call contest hands down. So, I took my 2018 4Runner in for what I anticipated could wind up being a big bill, but I just wanted to make sure it was fixed and operating correctly and safely so the bill didn't matter, well, all that much. As it turns out, their inspection showed the brakes actually were operating properly. Go figure. Joe explained why I might have experienced what I though was brakes locking up causing a bit of skidding a couple of times, and his diagnosis all made sense. As well, all they had to do for the seat heaters was put in a new fuse and I happened to have the right fuse in my cubby. Verdict on the bill was amazing. Joe indicated it was all such an easy diagnostic and repair requiring no parts and only a little time that they gave me a delightfully low and reasonable price, $0.00. Yes, zero dollars!! I know this wasn't at all typical and I would have gladly paid for at least their time, but in my case, he thought it was fair and said, "welcome to Rhode Island". Part of what made it so special is that this seemed like one of those situations where an unscrupulous repair shop could have easily 'fixed' something that wasn't broken and charged me a ton for parts I didn't need and the time to install them. That happens. I'm a witness and have been a victim. But these guys proved to be as fair and honest as the day is long, and obviously well respected and trusted by locals around here evidenced by the fact they had a bunch of very nice cars and trucks in the bays and on the lot that other people had entrusted them with. So, I'm very happy to have found where I will take all my automotive needs and do it with absolute confidence. If you're looking for a place to take your car or truck for repair, you probably won't pay zero, but you can be sure that you won't be overcharged, and it will get done right. They have my highest recommendation. Thank you, Joe & Sons.

Loved this shop the owner Joe is awesome at his job both customer service wise and mechanical abilities everytime I've gone here I've have a great experience I recently had a set of tires and tpms sensors replaced on my son's bmw wheels and everything went well as I know it would rims were still like new no damages which I've had some tire shops damage my wheels like tire warehouse on elmwood don't go there lol and the tires were balanced correctly thanks Joe

With that being said - Joe and Son’s are the type of people that are trust worthy Not money hungry and take care of you like family. Back in May I needed an inspection for the state done, which I did not realize until a couple of days before the end of the month, and they were able to squeeze me in to get it done before it expired. I cannot thank these guys enough for their service. My grandmother recommended them. I needed my breaks done last minute, I was heading to work and had to turn around because I felt unsafe. Aaron and Joe took me in right away. I was out within an hour and a half for all 4 breaks and rotors. They even fixed my headlight for me no charge. I was very happy about that because I had been to multiple different shops to fix it and they all told me it was a large job or electrical issue, or replaced the bulb which did nothing. I will be definitely going back. They had a nice clean spot for me to sit and work on my laptop while I waited. Clean bathroom. My car feels safe. Thank you guys!
