Recenlty took my 2020 Rubicon to REV outfitters to diagnose a problem. I am newer to having a jeep with a lift and aftermarket parts. Terrell helped me through the whole process of getting quite a bit of work done and really explaining everything to me. Extremely helpful and patient! I cannot say enough great things about my experience and the work I had done here. I am very pleased with the new long arm kit they installed. Highly recommend Terrell and the guys here!

Awful experience. Overpriced. Very low quality work. I brought my 1993 Jeep Yj to these guys about a week ago. I specifically said I could smell a burning smell from the rear tire, wanted them to look into fixing parking brake, and fixing the 4x4. A week later I spend over 1k on a custom driveshaft, 700 on replacing the front wheel bearing and 250 to install tires ( not aligned and didn’t even wipe off the paint stickers). I get there because it’s “ready” they don’t even mention the burning smell and have said nothing about the parking brake. I ask Terrell who says the parking brake will be a few thousand because of my jk axle. Okay well why didn't you put it on the invoice before I drove 40 mins? I just spent 2k so it’s not like I don’t have money. I ask about the burning smell, nobody knows what’s going, no inspection on it, just a guess that it may be rear brakes. Okay so, what am I supposed to do with that? On top of this they accidentally overcharged me for something else. And on top of all that I am pretty sure there courtesy checks are jokes. The owner before me put ziplock bags as caps for certain elements under the hood. Not a single mention of that at all but they said my wipers are bad so hey maybe that’s the extent of their check. Now my car is another shop. I would not go here unless you absolutely have to or you enjoy throwing money away.

I cannot speak highly enough about my experience with John's 4x4. From the moment I first exchanged messages with Austin about fly fishing, the dedication to quality and expertise was evident. I recently had John's 4x4 install Dobinsons MRR suspension lift, heavy-duty leaf springs and coils, along with some gorgeous (but not flashy, they're rims not fishing lures) Method Wheels with Mickey Thompson Baja Boss rubber(All by Austin's suggestion, btw) on my Tacoma TRD Off-Road, and the transformation has been nothing short of exceptional. Before visiting John's 4x4, I had never heard of Dobinsons and was initially hesitant to venture into unfamiliar territory. However, working with Austin changed everything. His knowledge and genuine passion for quality made me trust his recommendation of the Dobinsons MRR suspension, and I can confidently say it was the best decision I could have made. Austin took the time to understand my needs, considering both rough Alaskan backcountry terrain the vehicle would see throughout the summer mostly, and the daily city driving requirements of being a general contractor. The flexibility of the MRR suspension, which can be easily adjusted, sealed the deal for me. Although the wait for the parts from Australia was longer than I anticipated, the end result was well worth it. If I could make any changes, it would be to have Dobinsons located closer to home, and, well, same with John's 4x4. Unfortunately I was unaware they were located about an hour from home. But, despite the distance, the team at John's 4x4 went above and beyond by providing a loaner vehicle and ensuring a nearly seamless experience. Their expertise and personable approach truly set them apart. In a nutshell, John's 4x4 exceeded my expectations in every way. The improved ride quality and performance of my truck speak volumes about the craftsmanship and dedication of this exceptional team. I wish I had more time to really sit down and aknowledge several other positive aspects, but I think you guys and whoever else might be reading this, gets the point. I highly recommend John's 4x4 to anyone looking for top-notch 4x4 upgrades and outstanding customer service. Do you and your truck a huge favor and call John's before you call anywhere else! Thanks a ton guys. I get compliments everywhere I go on how incredible my truck looks. I could not be happier with it. Awesome place! Professional and friendly staff that obviously care about doing things right. I came in with a Santa Cruz to get a lift. It's a little baby truck that has no right to call itself a truck. When I dropped it off, I saw all these other off road monsters that were glorious and ready to go on adventures. My Santa Cruz looked pitiful next to them. The staff could have laughed about me getting a lift, or even given me a hard time (good natured) about the pitiful size of my "truck", but they didn't. They treated me with respect, kindness, and best of all- they did a fantastic job. For anyone looking to get their monsters upgraded, this is the place. And for anyone who just wants to pretend their truck is more badass than it is, well, they got you covered as well. Amazing team that was positive and friendly from the start. Highly recommend!

I've been to Johns 4x4 several times for work on my Tacoma. They got me out of a jam the dealer put me in. They installed a Dobinson's lift kit, replaced my steering bushings, and properly aligned my vehicle. Most recently they installed some RCI rock sliders. Kevin is best. All proposed work is explained and different options are discussed. I trust these guys completely and highly recommend their work.

This was clearly a professional outfit. The shop was highly commutative during maintenance. They replaced my steering gearbox with a red top and installed a steering stabilizer after a quick inspection. I recommend these guys. Especially if you have a passion project you’d want kept in good hands.
