Can't recommend John's highly enough. We drive down from San Jose on a Wednesday and our car was starting to overheat. Wasn't sure what we were going to do since we were going to be driving back on Saturday. Took the car to John's and Muhammad was able to diagnose and fix a relatively simple repair while also advising we exercise caution and have our regular mechanic take a look at it. We were able to make the drive back on Saturday without issues.

"I had an amazing experience at a mechanic shop that I highly recommend! My car broke down and I was feeling a little skeptical about finding an honest mechanic. However, AAA recommended this shop and I couldn't be more pleased. The honesty and integrity of this shop are truly a blessing from God. Let me tell you my experience. My car broke down while traveling and it happened late on a Sunday. Muhammad not only answered my phone call he met me with the tow truck and insisted he place it inside his garage for security. He then proceeded to work on my car with excellent care and called me with frequent updates. He was able to resolve the issue without requiring any parts so he refused any payment. This was the best treatment I have ever had from a mechanic. I highly recommend this place and the kindness he showed me was above and beyond.

Owner Mohammed sincerely loves helping customers understand car maintenance and needed repairs. He showed me both the worn and new parts before replacing. He is kind, polite, communicative and thoughtful. He had my car thoroughly checked as if I were a family member, before I left on a crosscountry road trip, offering practical trip tips and sharing interesting stories. His employees seemed happy, his place was clean, his location near Disneyland, is quiet and safe. Females often have challenges finding a such repair places with respectful experienced service. I found mine! As a walk-in, my car was checked and made ready to go in about an hour, cabin and engine filters and rear brake light replaced+AAA 40-pt. check. Mr. Mohammed was fair and genuinely concerned for my best interest, especially as a young woman dealing with car issues. I will recommend his shop to anyone, especially women with little car knowledge. I towed my car to John's after it stalled on the freeway. I chose this location because when I called the shop, Mr. Mohammed arranged for a mechanic to receive my vehicle after hours and assured me they would have an answer for me by the next day. They assessed my vehicle the next day as promised and helped me decide what to do next. The service was very friendly and professional.

I truly feel Mohammad was an angel sent to watch over me on what was already a very difficult trip. I had to purchase a vehicle in California to bring a sick family member home. Before hitting the road to travel cross country I ran into ANOTHER body shop and they told me I had a radiator leak and would need to leave vehicle. I quickly booked a hotel and looked for another auto shop nearby to get my car into the following morning. That’s when I found John’s auto repair. I was there when they opened. They quickly took my car and showed me in actuality my vehicle did NOT need a new radiator or have any leaks - he gave the car a once over - showed me how to check my oil on my long trip home and sent me on my way with peace of mind. Thankyou Mohammad for being such a blessing to me and helping me get my “wild horse” home.

This was first time coming to a small repair shop and I gotta say I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Mohammed is genuinely a nice person that wants to know who we are. He doesn't try to sell you anything you don't need. He wants to help you and all your car needs. My car started to overheat during my commute and he quickly figured what was wrong. What a blessing to have a angel like Muhammed. He is hardworking Honest he will tell you what is wrong with your car and won't make up things to fix unnecessary things. Believe me I know . He is humble and welcoming and always has coffee and water ready for his customers. I drive 30 min just to take my car to him. He is very dear to my heart. When you walk in to his shop you can see lots and lots of awards that he has gotten. He is also very nice. All these qualities are hard to find now days . We found the needle in the haystack and plan to keep him . Go in you won't regret it.

This was the second mechanic I brought my car into and although he was unable to figure out the problem because of course my car was about to run fine there and the diagnostic came back fine, he was very friendly and helpful. Showed me everything. Didn't charge for a diagnostic. Checked my oil while I was there. Told me I would check it every 1,000 miles (I honestly just go off of my sticker but I appreciate all the help). Very honest mechanic.

This is a very good and honest mechanic. He literally saved my car. I took my car to his shop because my car was making noise especially going uphill. I was not aware my car (Kia Sedona) uses extra oil after 100,000 miles and the low oil indicator usually doesn’t work in these cars. When I explained the problem he took the car inside the shop and first he checked the engine oil. Yup, there was not a drop of oil in the engine. He put 4 quarts of oil then checked the coolant level and we took the car for a test drive. The problem was gone. No noise and the engine ran smoothly. He only charged me for oil. No other charge. He is good and honest. I recommend him.

Glad to find this location. Google other sites and no availability to bring car in, on a emergency basis. Called up on Friday morning and ask needed brakes checked. Responde to bring it in they'll take a look at it. Was so happy to hear that especially on a Friday when everyone else is busy. They make me feel welcome upon arrival John offered coffee and water. He invited me to the work area to see what needed to be worked on and replace. That's something no one else has done before. Made me feel comfortable at letting him do the work that needed to be done. Also ran in to one of his regular clients' in the waiting area. She told me she's been with him for over 20yrs. That made me even more at ease that made the right choice coming there. Thanks John's Auto Repair, you gained a new customer more!
