My first time working with Jue motors, caught a check engine on Sunday, drove to work Monday morning, searched the highest rated auto shops near my factory and bam! 1.0 miles away to Jue motors, got an estimate and recommendation within a few hours, completed the repair that day, even got a AAA discount. I stopped by here on a Saturday morning about 2 weeks ago to try to get a price quote matched from an Infiniti dealer. Spoke to Jimmy, who seemed nice, and he took a look at my car and gave me feedback on the areas needed to be repaired. My biggest problem with Jimmy is the unresponsiveness to follow back up with me with the price quote I requested. He took down my name, number, and address and told me that he would get back to me on Monday. I called him on Monday afternoon asking if the price quote was ready, but Jimmy said he was very busy, he still had to research it, and that he would get back to me either later today or Tuesday. No phone call on Tuesday. I decided to call again Wednesday to see if there was any progress. This time, Jimmy mentioned that he was taking a car to the wash and would get back to me when he got back into the office. No phone call back again. It's annoying that he never calls me back because I actually wanted to give him my business. If he didn't want to repair my car, he should just tell me straight up "no" instead of making excuses each time I try to call. Unprofessional.

Everyone knows how hard it can be to find a great mechanic; someone who not only is a expert in their field, but also is honest and provides great service. Had my car towed to Jimmy after breaking down with a transmission problem, Jimmy quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem and had my car back in service in a day. Great service, great technician! I had not heard about this place. But, one day my car broke down. And, AAA associate on the call suggested me this place as this has night drop off facility. I liked the way in which Jimmy and his team treat their customers. Very nice people - they are very open and honest. They don't try to create a big scene out of nothing, just to make you pay more. I liked that. Ever since that instance, I have been going there - even for regular oil change. Just make sure to call Jimmy and book an appointment though - this makes it convinient for us as well as his team since they are usually busy. (Of course, you may walk-in, but then you may have to wait for a while). Overall, I highly recommend this place.

New Review: Unapologetic and brash be prepared to have your ear talked off. Although these guys do good work on these cars and are a wealth of knowledge they have no social etiquette. They would not apologize after being offensive to me. Scott and everyone who went along decided that they would rather not admit any wrong doing and cut ties with me instead. This is after going there for a few years and spending close to 10K on my Insight. Apparently they rather burn bridges then continue to have my business. Hopefully things get better but as people get older you know what they say. It is what it is go at your own risk. Old review: Best place if you have a Honda Insight!! Scott is keeping these cars rolling on the road. Combining his experience and expertise he makes custom parts and also has a bunch of factory parts in stock as well so while others have to wait these days you don't! Get you custom aero panel and upgraded springs (the Insights rear suspension desperately needs it). For a car as rare as the 1st gen Insight get the right work at the right price!

I originally found this place through a forum. I drive a 1st gen Honda Insight and not many people do work on them that is high quality at a reasonable price, however I was appointed to the direction of Scott and he is by far one of the best mechanics I've had the pleasure of meeting. Scott and Jimmy are great guys that offer outstanding customer service and a high level of workmanship whether you're just getting a tune up of a transmission rebuild. I drive 40 miles just to come to this shop and I recommend you do too.

I have a repair shop in Escondido Ca < San Diego area > Had a long time client of mine who now lives and works in Covina. He called with a odd noise feeling when braking. Found Jue Motors through AAA as we are AAA a well. Spoke with Jimmy explained what was going on as we had just done some related brake work. He quickly got my client in and found the new replacement drums were slightly out of round. Corrected the issue and a more than fair price. These guys are the galactic top experts on the first generation Honda Insights, especially Scott. And they stock many parts that might show some wear after hundreds of thousands of miles. On mine, they replaced the complicated belly pan assembly with a single piece that makes the under side less turbulent at speed. They also modified both front and rear suspension making it handle better and ride better. At ~180,000 miles I asked them to service the engine. They cleaned the EGR, adjusted the valve lifter clearances, cleaned the fuel injectors and misc little stuff. It runs better than new now at 120,000 miles. And their prices are fair.

Scott is an extremely honest and good man! He will answer just about any question you have even if you're not bringing him the car! I trust him with just about anything!! He works on all vehicles but must famous is the Gen 1 Honda Insight. He has rebuilt hundreds of these transmissions and wouldn't trust anyone else nearly as much! Ive done business with him many times and will continue to do business. He has a great reputation in the Honda community and people cant say enough wonderful things about him. He's probably one of the most busiest people I know since so many people come to him so if you have the opportunity for him to work on his car, take it!!

I have a 1st generation 2005 Honda Insight and this place fixes and has the knowledge to repair them. Many of the cars are from out of state as well as within the state. Finding a dependable car repair for an older, specialty vehicle car outside of a dealer is hard to find. Their prices seemed fair for replacement parts.

Jimmy is a legend! I drove all the way down from Calgary (Canada), he helped out big time finding rare parts for my 2000 Honda Insight (VIN#00009). Can't thank him enough for the time he put aside to help me out. The techs here know what they're doing. If you have a ZE1 Insight, this is the best place in North America to bring it!
