K&D Auto is honest and affordable. They called me every step of the way and were even willing to show me exactly what was wrong with my car before moving forward with any work. I had my brakes replaced and front calipers. They were able to knock it out in a timely manner. One of the best auto shops in Hampton Roads.

I've been taking my cars and trucks to Danny Young at K & D Auto for literally decades. He is probably the most knowledgeable mechanic I have ever met and a principled, honest person as well. That was a tough combination to find all those years ago and even rarer to find nowadays. The work that Danny and Lex do there is always done quickly, correctly and for a fair price. No up selling, no frivolous extras, no price gouging. Just the work you need performed when you need it. I like that. I've always liked that. I wouldn't take my vehicles anywhere else.

K&D was great! Early in the week, I barely made it to my school, which was right around the corner. My oil light had started flickering on and off sporadically as I crossed the Jordan bridge. I was afraid to drive it all the way back to Western branch, so I went here. They were extremely thorough and double checked after each step. Very happy with the results ❤️

This is a great repair shop. I've used this business for many years. I have 2 older cars and they keep them going for me. Highly recommend this company! As for the 1star review, pay no attention. NO auto repair shop guarantees ANY WORK WHEN YOU BRING YOUR OWN PARTS! The labor work is not the problem it's the CHEAPER parts. ALL businesses will tell you that is the policy. That is why almost All shops do not operate in that manner. K&D Auto Repair offers great labor fees and thus trying to keep the customer cost down has allowed customers to bring their own parts but with the UP FRONT KNOWLEDGE before any work is done there is no guarantee. SPEND a little more for a quality part. 3 years ago I've had 3 window regulators replaced in my 2 vehicles and have had NO ISSUES! By the way my cars are a 1988 tbird and a 2003 toyota 4runner. Love this company and always will. OLD AND GOLD!

I have had to take my truck to them a couple times and I had no more issues. Taking my truck today for a minor service and will not go any other place. The receptionist is awesome as well. She is sooo nice and polite and will go out her way to get you all set up and finished.

Unprofessional, had parts stolen off my vehicle (rims, catalytic converter, muffler, radio system, back seats, amps and subwoofer's) failed to follow up with the service requested (while I'm overseas). Now today I had my lawyer go check on the placement of it. It's no longer there... Phone isn't being answered. Photos and videos was taken and legal actions are going into play. Thanks for the scam of robbing my vehicle K&D. Now it's time to pay

Bought a car from them about a year and a half ago. Sold me a Nissan Sentra that had so many mechanical issues, that I just sold it 2 months later for nothing. Not only that, but I had to get in contact with law enforcement to get the guy to send me my title 4 months after I bought the car. Dodged my calls, told me he sent it through the mail, but couldn’t find the tracking number. Awful place to buy from
