I have called multiple times, and this is a follow-up to my previous post regarding the damage done to my truck. Jamie at K&L Tire straight-wired the compressor to the switch, which completely destroyed the air conditioning system. I had to pay $3,900 at International to get it repaired, plus a $1,500 tow bill. After several calls to K&L Tire and speaking with Jamie, it’s clear that Wayne Lancaster, the owner, is avoiding me. He refuses to answer my calls or speak with me. It is evident that this company does not have the means or willingness to take responsibility for damages they cause. They are a small operation without the proper mechanisms in place to make things right when they damage someone’s property. The incompetence of their mechanics speaks for itself. Despite multiple conversations, all I hear is, "We will talk to the owner and call you right back," but they never follow through. This is not a company you want working on your property. Commercial trucks are expensive, and even minor mistakes can lead to significant damage. Unfortunately, K&L Tire does not have the capability to take responsibility for their mistakes.
