KAMMS is an amazing auto repair shop! I was passing through Champagne on a cross country trip and heard an unusual noise coming from my back wheels. I didn’t feel safe continuing my trip until I could have someone diagnose the issue. I’m so fortunate that KAAMS was the auto shop that I trusted! It was a Friday late afternoon and when I called and explained my situation Cody was transparent about the fact that they were booked up that day and that they may not have a technician available to diagnose the issue, but that they would try their best to help me out by the end of the day. Keith, one of the technicians, knowing my situation stopped what he was doing and took the time to look at my vehicle and was able to diagnose a scary issue, but a simple fix. My back wheel had loosened and things could have gotten worse very quickly! They gave me a call within a couple of hours and my car was ready to be picked up and the cost was less than a tank of gas in California. Thanks to competent trustworthy folks I was able to get back on the road instead of being stalled in Champagne, Illinois through the weekend! Thank you so much KAAMS! You would definitely be my go to auto repair shop if I were a local in your region!

Ok I had to think on this review for a couple of days before I explained to everyone my amazing experience at Kaams Auto Repair. I own a small business from out of town and I have multiple vans in the Champaign area every day. Well one broke down in Savoy and for some lucky reason I called Kaams Auto Repair. They took care of me like I was their neighbor, Melissa the office staff is second to no one She is a top notch manager, she kept me informed about my van, and everything she told me was exactly the truth. After 3 or 4 days of evaluation of my van I had to have it towed back to my shop , and expecting a high storage and evaluation charge , Melissa said I only owed them a diagnostic charge of $85 dollars With myself being in business for 31 years And Melissa said Kaams is going on 6 years they have a bright future ahead of them. I’m an old school type of guy and it’s so refreshing to see a business that actually cares. I appreciate everything they did for me and if you are ever looking for a repair or preventive company for your vehicle, you would be crazy to going anywhere else besides Kaams. Not please whatsoever with this company, ask for my suspension fix, now I’m taking it to a more competent mechanic, after spending close to $4,000! In addition, 3 way conversation with this mechanic here has nothing to do with your performance! You can rationalize the situation all you want! You didn’t do your correctly, but you cash my check appropriately! Again I’ll take it to a qualified competent facility, and have it done correctly! Car x was my first choice, and never had any problems with any of there work! No wonder they let go of your current mechanic!
