We just moved to the area, and have been working on finding all the usual things - handyman, plumber, landscaper and, of course, a mechanic. When our car started making some funny sounds, we decided the mechanic was the one which couldn't wait any longer. We asked our neighbors for recommendations, and overwhelmingly the advice was to head down to Ken's on Thousand Oak's Boulevard. My wife called up and managed to get us in the very next morning: not only was Ken's team able to diagnose and fix the problem, but in the same day he was able to get the 5,000 mile service which we needed too. Ken was incredibly responsive, and patient with our many questions - I couldn't be happier! I would recommend 1000 times over - a local business, with ties to the community (I believe that Ken is a Scout leader), doing great work!

I highly recommend Ken's. Honest technicians. I just wish they would service more models! 4 years later: still using Ken's. Always very pleased. I've bought 2 cars in the past 4 years, and at least some motivation for getting Toyota's was knowing that was the only way I could have Ken as my mechanic. I hope Toyota dealers treat him nice because he certainly is strengthening their selling points...

I brought in my 2009 FJ Cruiser with a bad wobble while braking. Ken was friendly and helpful. They were able to get the issue diagnosed and repaired all in the same day. I got to speak with my mechanic Kory who was also friendly and knowledgeable. He gave me a thorough run down of the issue along with other little things going on with my vehicle and would eventually need repair down the road. The price was totally reasonable and they never tried to up-sale me or offer services that were not needed. I got the impression that the people I was working with were totally honest and dependable. I'm always suspicious of mechanics and feel that in this case I was in good hands. Unfortunately I don't live in the area or I would certainly bring my vehicle back to them for any future repairs. I fully recommend these guys!

Ken and his staff continue to provide excellent service at a fair price. When I buy a car, I buy either a Toyota or Lexus knowing I will have reliable and reasonable priced service at Ken's. He and his staff treat my cars like they owned them, and while keeping the cars in reliable and safe conditions, don't push repairs before they are needed. When they tell me what needs to be maintained or repaired, I absolutely know it needs to be done. I would not take my car anywhere else.
