I went in today, for my first time. The clerk behind the counter, had super awesome customer service. He explained everything to me, thoroughly. Let me know how it was going to go, which I really appreciate. I feel like they're a great company. UPDATE- This business is a scam. They charged me $283, for Diagnostic and an inspection. They didn't fix anything on my car. But+++ they said they would, for approximately $1500.00 and $2,000. To clean oil off the engine, and change a valve cover gasket+++Beware.

They did a great job on my Tacoma. I had it towed in after a blowout because I had no good spare. They kept me updated and were very thorough with their inspection. Fixed me right up with some new tires and a good spare while giving me some sound guidance along the way.

I took my vehicle in for a repair; they did a great job at repairing my vehicle and did so at a reasonable price that I am happy with, while it was there, I needed an oil change done and it was convenient as it was already there. Little did I know it was going to cost $135 for a basic oil change. $81 of it was for labor alone. As a business you’ve got to inform customers that they’re about to pay 2-3x the typical cost for a synthetic oil change. The dealership performs the same service on this vehicle for $39.99, I paid twice that for the labor alone. While I’m happy with the repair.. the oil change is outlandish and quite honestly an egregious charge for something so simple. My only request would be to please inform customers of the cost of an oil change prior to doing it. If I’d had any clue the cost prior to doing the oil change I wouldn’t have even considered it. This business has been here a long time with a great reputation, and small things like this can make a big difference in someone’s experience.

They charged me $622 for a diagnostic fee and they said it was all 3 of my motor mounts in actualality it was my transfer case, they never said anything about my transfer case only the motor mounts, well I paid $620 for the false diagnosis test they never performed, then I went and got two more diagnostic test from other places and both said nothing was wrong with my motor mounts and both said it was the transfer case, KITTLES NEVER not once told me it was the transfer case which proves they never ran a diagnostic test because they falsified documents and never diagnosed the issue.Talk to a lawyer, got all the paperwork from KITTLES and the other shops. They are a rip off save your money.

I was told that the care would be there a minimum of three days so I was expecting a week or so that we'd be without our vehicle. They requested authorization for one amount, I asked them to do something extra. Not only was our car finished on the third day but the end price was below the authorization they asked for even with the extra service added. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I cannot recommend this garage enough. We've found our car doctor and will use them anytime we need repairs done to our vehicles in the future.

Everyone I spoke to was very friendly and knowledgeable and I am happy with the work done on my car. However, there is some truth to the reviews complaining about price. Removing stuck sway bar end links and replacing an ABS sensor bolt that sheared off cost almost $1k.

(Edit: 2025-01-30. I've heard the business was sold. My review pertains to the old owners. I cannot speak to the quality of the new staff. ) The folks at Kittle's Garage were amazing. I was in one of the worst situations--driving alone cross country (from Texas to NY) in the middle of a pandemic--when my car redlined just outside of Little Rock. I showed up without an appointment early in the morning and was back on the road before noon. They ran a full diagnostic on the car, determined what the issue was, and then test drove it themselves at high speed on the highway to make sure I wouldn't have any more issues. The cost of the service was so low as to be almost criminal. I can't thank the folks at the garge enough. They were kind, considerate, and knowledgeable (how many mechanics explain the coefficient of thermal expansion when describing an issue?) and my only regrets are that they wouldn't accept more money (hope the pies made up for it!) and that they aren't local to me back in NY.

I have been going to Kittle's with several cars for more years than I can remember. These people are honest. They do not guess at what's wrong with a car - they do a complete professional diagnostic. They stand behind their work and have earned my trust. I have recommended Kittle's to many friends and acquaintances who have also continued to be regular customers. I wouldn't go anywhere else for service and repairs. UPDATE: After being a happy customer for more than 20 years, I no longer do business here. NEW MANAGEMENT quoted almost $800 for specific repair. Dealers and other independents quoted exact same repair at less than $400. Their greed sent me permanently away. I no longer trust them.

New Management Eric Husted is ruining Kittle’s reputation. They charged me $166+ for oil change (gave me the wrong dipstick), $94+ to clean a battery cable (didn’t do a thorough job). CRACKED my WINDSHIELD and won’t take responsibility. Now I know I’m not the only one they’ve robbed. Even worse reviews on BBB and Yelp.

2017 Subaru, lots of miles; this team helped me navigate choices in repairs to keep my car on the road safely. The staff was friendly, professional and very helpful with all my questions. I'll be back and will be recommending them. Thanks guys.

If 0 star was a rating option, I would select that. New ownership is dishonest and crooked. Brakes were squeaking and they said I needed all new pads and rotors, and would cost over $6,000. I got three other opinions and they all disagreed and that IF I needed those repairs they would cost about $2,000. Kittle's charged me over $400 for a crappy diagnosis. Picked up my car and it had strong marijuana smell.

Formerly trustworthy business, now appalling. The most egregiously terrible experience I've had with a mechanic in over 30 years of driving. Run. I brought in my older car for a warning light check, and was told after assessment that it needed extensive brake and suspension work, in addition to some other smaller needs. I had the brake work done immediately due to safety concerns, and deferred the suspension work because the overall cost quoted was several thousand dollars. They kept my car for 3 days to complete the brakes and some routine maintenance. After I picked it up, I made an appointment for a second opinion regarding the other recommended repairs at a well-regarded dealer's service dept. The dealer staff were universally shocked by how much I was charged by Kittle's for the brake job, which I apparently could have gotten for less by a 4-figure amount. They also opined that my suspension needs investment of about $400, not $3000 as Kittle's said. But, the most disturbing discovery was that despite having my car for 3 days and actually performing an oil change, Kittle's did not diagnose a timing cover oil leak. I was severely overcharged on one front, advised to perform expensive unnecessary repairs on another, and meanwhile a problem went entirely unmentioned (unnoticed?) that was far more urgent than either of them. If I had not taken the car for the second opinion, I could have eventually driven the engine dry and destroyed it. Now I am faced with another hefty repair bill very shortly after the first, but this time it's actually necessary. I did inform Kittle's of the missed oil leak and the other concerns described, and the entire response I got was 'thanks for the feedback'. The degree of incompetence suggested by failure to detect the oil leak almost strains credibility. I sincerely hope that no other customer ever experiences anything like I did. But, the safest way to ensure that is probably to take your business elsewhere. Kittle's certainly doesn't deserve your trust or your money.

Will never use this company again. I've been a customer for over a decade, and recommended my mom to them we were charged an outrageous amount of money to fix oil leaks, only to have to take it back a second time, and then a 3rd time. I refused the repairs the 3rd time, then we go to pick up the car only to find out that it was broken into by somebody that hopped the fence amd was going through cars. Strongly considering seeking legal counsel, especially after reading these reviews. I can't believe how much this business changed since the last time I had them work on my vehicle.

I have had several reasons to use Kittles Garage over the last several years. They are highly qualified to take care of any auto problem. Their staff are friendly and the repair staff is impeccable. They are very knowledgeable and can give you additional help if needed. I recently had to have a new engine put into my vehicle. However, because it was still under warranty they sent me to Conway and the auto factory replaced it without any cost to me. SO, now I have a brand new vehicle mechanically and I was not out the cost of a new engine. MANY THANKS to Kittle Garage in knowing where to send me for the repair job. I highly recommend them for any mechanical work you might need. Andy Miller

I only write this to help protect someone from this place... I brought my 08 Xterra there a few weeks ago. I told them, "everything it's doing points to a bad catalytic converter, and maybe a bad spark plug/coil". They agreed with me. "Oh yeah, that's what it sounds like to me." I told them, if it's the converter, I probably won't waste my money because the car wasn't worth that much. They called me back a few days later saying that all the spark plugs and coil packs need to be replaced. I asked about the catalytic converter and they said "Oh, we can't really test that until we get the spark plugs fixed." how much for that? $2700! I told them it was mainly the catalytic converter, but ohhh no, gotta fix the spark plugs first to see if the converter is bad. I told them the car's not even worth that much... Well, they said, there's a mechanic here that may be interested in buying it for a few hundred dollars............. They proceed to charge me $550 for their diagnostic endeavors. I took the Xterra to another mechanic and within 30 minutes he easily discovered that the catalytic converters had literally came apart and the pipe was completely stopped up. Duh... Oh, and btw you have ONE BAD COIL. One bad coil. One. I pray that no one else falls prey to this type of business practice. Lol, they decided to respond. When I brought it in, I specifically asked for them to check the catalytic converter first... My mechanic did that and quickly saw that it was totally destroyed. You took money from a guy who didn't have it so that you could do whatever you wanted... You literally told me that your test didn't show an o2 sensor error! Lies, Bro!

Very great place and very great people. Just a few days ago my car was having issues and they were nothing short of helpful. Helped me unlock my car, jump the battery and a quick and free listen to the vehicle to assure me of the underlying issue. I will definitely recommend coming here. You’ll be in great hands.
