How comforting is to find a repair shop where you are treated as a person not as a number. The building transformation is fantastic, with an inviting lobby and a state-of-the-art shop. Paul is the most knowledgeable, approachable car wizard I ever known. He took the time to invite me to the shop, explaining the whole repair process. The two hardworking, friendly service writers, Jason and Sam, are eager to help with any questions you have. There is no surprise that this auto repair shop was Voted Best of The Valley.

If you are in the Fox Valley you will be hard pressed to find a shop as thorough and price efficient then Paul,, Jason, Sam and everyone else at Klug Family Repair. I've brought multiple vehicles there, and each one was repaired in a reasonable amount of time and they beat pricing compared to any other shop I got a quote from. This time around I had a Buick that's seen better days and Paul gave us an honest opinion of what he felt should be repaired if its being driven vs what can wait/not need repair immediately. Thats about as honest as it gets. Bring your vehicle here if it needs repairs!

Paul and his entire staff are great people to work with. They will tell you what’s wrong with your vehicle, what needs to be fixed right away and what can wait. Klug gives you detailed itemized quotes so you can plan out your repairs. They honor their quotes even if it’s a couple of months before you get the work done. Klug doesn’t try to upsell you. Recently I had a shock fail which they installed. They got my truck in right away and fixed it for free. Good local family owned shop that will do you right.

Klug Family Repair did a great job for me on my 2015 Ford with 185k miles on her. They fixed the problem and super fast too! The price was extremely reasonable and I didn’t get the high pressure pitch to spend $$ on all the “extras” like I do at the dealerships. I moved to the Fox Valley area recently with a 03’ Sequoia I’d purchased while I was living in Oregon and a truck full of suspension components I hadn’t had time to get installed yet. After a few months of my kids keeping me from getting to it, I decided to just have a shop do the work for me, and Trailbuilt Offroad, who I got my Wheels and Tires from, recommended Klug Family Repair to me. I discussed the project for them, and while Sequoias were not something they had lifted before, they were happy to help with the project. I dropped my truck off with them with all the parts, including some specialized things like a Panhard Correction Bracket from Eimkeith, which required welding for fitment, and they handled everything absolutely perfectly. They also have the ability to do in-house aligments, so it’s a perfect one-stop shop for your suspension needs. I was moving from 31” to 35” tires, and IFS Toyotas can have some issues clearing the larger size, but after discussing what I needed done with my SPC Upper Control Arms, Klug was able to get my front wheels moved forward in the wheel well and I’ve got 0 rubbing on frame or body. Klug are great to work with, and absolutely comitted to getting things done to your satisfaction. My Sequioa drives and looks amazing, I’d recommend them to anyone needing suspension work in the area.

Klug was recommended by a close family member who had a good experience. I called the business number listed here on Monday, July 7, 2025 and left a brief voicemail requesting an estimate for suspension repair. Assuming the holiday weekend meant Monday would be a busy day, I patiently waited for a callback. It is nearly 2:30 pm the following day, Tuesday, July 8th, and no return call. I thought maybe my voicemail was missed or lost, so I called again. The message I received when I dialed the number went exactly as follows, "Your call cannot be completed as the party declines the request." I was no longer able to leave a message. To be perfectly clear, I have never done business with Klug Auto in the past. They were recommended by a family member who had a very recent good experience. To the best of my understanding, a message such as this suggests to me that my phone number has been blocked for reasons unknown to me. Although I don't care enough to speculate the reasons why Klug Auto is screening calls and blocking potential customers, I will share that I know this is not a sustainable way to conduct business. I recommend to anyone reading this review to consider the many other auto shops in the Fox Valley who are more open to doing business and to taking your car repair concerns seriously.

These guys were great. They were able to get me in within a week to have serious engine work done. They dropped the engine, fixed everything and had me rolling in a couple days. They also fixed some steering components. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. It’s been a couple months and everything is still going good.

Paul recently did a major timing service on my Ford Raptor as well as some valve work. I really appreciate his approach of recommending and completing services for preventative maintenance while the engine is already apart, which saves money in the long run and gives piece of mind. I depend on my truck in remote areas and harsh environments so reliability is my number 1 concern. Paul also did an alignment on my truck when no one else would touch it due to modifications.

Klug Family Repair LLC is an outstanding business. Jason fit me in late on a Friday after my vehicle suffered undercarriage damage from hitting debris on the highway. While I was there, I also requested an oil change. To my surprise, they only charged me for the oil change and not the additional repairs. Beyond my personal experience, I also volunteer with a nonprofit that regularly refers friends in need to Klug Family Repair. Had received a diagnosis that was going to cost thousands of dollars to repair. Brought it to Klug as a last resort from a recommendation and they were the only shop who actually cleaned the oil off under the car from a bad oil change and put dye in to VERIFY if there was any leaking. Turned out to just be a sloppy oil change to which they saved me thousands. They have earned a new customer and I will recommend them to everyone.

I want to start off by saying that I have been to a dozen shops in the Appleton area, and there isn't one more trustworthy than Klug Family Repair LLC. I have been taken advantage of on so many different occasions, so it's been a real pain finding someone who not only does quality work, but is also trustworthy. My search is over. I would highly recommend them to anyone, for any type of automobile related maintenance or upgrades. I had them fix the exhaust leak issues I had on my 2004 VW Phaeton V88, and also inquired about making my car sound a little beefier than stock, without buying a full exhaust or spending too much, and the owner, Paul Klug, came up with a perfect solution that cost me less than $300, and has my car sounding like a damn Lamborghini! haha 😄 They have also worked on my Mercedes Sprinter 3500 box truck, so there range of knowledge and quality of work is worth giving them a try!
