Took my car in for radiator problems and got told the ac didn’t work. They fixed that and when i got the car back the headlight didn’t work and a random piece of the interior was out of place. They said they didn’t do it, who knows but it was all fine aside from the radiator before

After taking my BMW to 2 other shops and a total of 4 visits (3 to the first one, 1 to the second). KT has properly diagnosed the problem. I am very happy with the services at this shop. Also he told me if the problem persists, bring back the car for a full refund. Obviously he is very confident in his work.

Unfortunately my boyfriend took his car to this place to run a diagnostic test and to change the axle boots on his car and then an alignment . They charged him $300 to change the boots when he came to pick it up. When he got there they told him there alignment machine was broken so they couldn't do that and that they didn't have time to run the diagnostic test. They had the car for 2 days! Again none of this was made aware to him until he was there picking up the car. Well a week later both boots tore again and he realized that they used zip ties on the boot and not the proper metal piece that is around the rubber part on those boots. I would never recommend this place. Very disappointed in the service they provided

Kris is the best. He always gives great advice and helps you save as much as you can. Although I have moved my work office from Fremont to San Jose, I have still come to him. It’s worth driving there. In fact, I am going to call him tomorrow and get my rear brakes replaced.

Did oil change, transmission service and tire rotation, and supposedly a multipoint check. Pricy to be honest, similar to dealer; [Update in response to owner reply: To be fair the dealer price I have is from early 2020 and I could believe indeed everything went up quite a bit] Multipoint check has no documentation unlike dealer where they provide a checklist with all check marks and details (eg tire thread, brake pad and rotors). I have to *trust* they did all the checks. I care this a lot as I do frequent weekend long trips with family the last thing I want to have is a car breakdown. What really fell short is that they didn’t adjust tire pressure after tire rotation. I have 38 in front and 34 at rear. I got tire pressure alert immediately…

Vehicle broke down on freeway. Had vehicle towed there due online research of auto shops. The following day I passed by and Kris told me the diagnosis. Timing chain broke. I asked him for advice. A new motor would cost almost 10k and a used one approx 4-5 if he could find one. I told him the transmission was starting to slip. He recommended to either sell the vehicle or donate. Because it would not be worth it. It would become a cash cow. Integrity is the main thing here. He could of sold a big job but declined. Where can you go to get that!

My family has been going to KT for many years. One thing I love about his service is that he is always looking out for you in terms of getting you the best price, and he never unnecessarily charges. Sometimes however, he will provide a time estimate as to when the car will be ready, and it's a TERRIBLE underestimate. So you end up calling him 3 or 4 times to see if it's ready and if he's busy it can take some time. However, when he does the job, it's usually done really well :)

I'm from out of town (closer to Tahoe!) and dropped in today because my truck had lost its serpentine belt - no power to the brakes, steering, battery, or fan! - and this place had me back on the road in just over an hour at a really good price (parts were about what I could've bought on Amazon and the shop rate is more than acceptable). Really nice and obviously competent - I'd go here for repairs again if I lived nearby!
