I called on Saturday to make an appointment for service on Wednesday at 8am. When I arrived at 8:11 on Wednesday I didn’t have an appointment set up or maybe I missed the time slot. Then they said it was gonna be $150 to just run the diagnostic so I ended up taking it somewhere else.

Heads up Mike is the best, I had brakes - Rotors and tires done in October 2024 then moved out of town. 9,000 miles and 9 Months later I had scorched front Rotors and half my brake pads were gone.( 12 Month unconditional warranty on parts per Nappa policy) Mike stood up for me and demanded that the distributor pay me back for parts from out of state. They didn't want to, but he got me a full refund and Nappa mailed me a check for $550 to cover replacement costs for new Rotors,front and back. He stands behind his work and I was in a bad spot that he helped me navigate.

Excellent service! I am from out of town and was driving a rental car from Fox Lake to Chicago for work. Within 10 minutes of driving my tire pressure warning light appeared with 3 tires showing low. Panicking knowing the distance I needed to drive and not knowing anything about cars, I pulled over at the first tire place I saw. It was 7:45 am and the business was not even open yet. However the service members came out and serviced my car immediately so I could get to work. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness and professionalism other than leave this review. Thank you so much! I made it to work with 2 minutes to spare.

Luckily I found Lake Villa Tires on google and come over for them to check it out without appointment. Mike was nice enough to help me fix my flat tire while he wait for his appointment person to show up. The work was done at a fair price, and only what was necessary at this time. What really stood out was the transparency. They pointed out a potential issue that could come up in the future, explained why it matters, and gave me a quote for that work ahead of time so I can plan for it. No pressure, no scare tactics, just solid information. They even locked in the quote, which I genuinely appreciated since that repair would be much more expensive down the road. Most places make money on ignorance. These guys make money on trust. The work itself was clean and precise.
