I was NOT informed of the initial $300 diagnostic fee that amounted to NOTHING. He basically did NOT know how to fix the vehicle. I would go someplace else. There is no waiting, a place to sit down or even a restroom to use. There are No ASE Certification or proof that he is even qualified to do car repairs at this facilities. I wasted almost $600 for absolutely NOTHING and he had my car for three days! I had to get my car towed to another shop to get my car fix. GO someplace else, he just wants your money without doing any reasonable work for $300 diagnostic fee!

Le’s Auto Body and Engine Repair is the only place I take my vehicles. They do great and honest work. They’re very good at explaining exactly what the problem is, and what they plan on doing to repair it. They are very flexible and understanding; I’ve never felt like they were trying to get me to spend more than what is necessary. I’ve always gotten my vehicles returned within the same day and there has never been issues with billing or price or bad work done on the car. They are really good at contacting their customers and updating them on their vehicle situation and what options are available. I recommend this shop for any car problem you may experience. The prices are amazing and the work is top tier.

Ive been coming to Le’s auto body shop for over a year now. I have a 2010 Ford Fusion that I bring over to them when I need maintenance done or if I am having car trouble. The crew is really good at leting me know what things I need to get done on my car. They are very nice, helpful, and friendly, I would recommend bringing your car to Le’s in time of need.

I recently needed to replace a headlight bulb, just to find out my headlights are after marker and use a type of bulb that costs 4X the regular one. I did the rounds through several electric mechanic shops in Oakland and had a hunch to come here. Tam gave me a straight forward estimate, as well as a break down of how we could proceed. I chose to get a new pair of headlights installed with the original type of bulb. The day after paying the deposit he got my new headlights and installed them in 90 min. I got to use them last night and they are perfect!! Great prices and super efficient repairs, what else to ask?

I have been going to Le's Auto for regular maintenance over the past few years as I find their work to be honest and affordable. Recently I needed the clutch replaced on my used Jeep, which unraveled all sorts of other unpredicted challenges with the vehicle. Despite the problems, their team worked hard to deliver results and returned my Jeep to me with improved mechanics and advice for future maintenance. I highly recommend this shop for anything ranging from a standard oil change to unique scenarios (and most importantly, they will be honest!).

I should have came to this shop first. Oakland Lexus dealership failed me and so did Auto Nation. They charged me almost $2000 each and never found the root of the problem. This place did a thorough diagnostic and made honest recommendations. They are helping me potentially extend the life of my vehicle because I need a new head gasket and replacing it will cost more than my car is worth. I am very grateful for this shop.

This shop is my goto now! After my partner destroyed her front right tire we needed their help and they fixed it well below our estimates on both time and cost! So the following week I decided to have them look at my 2009 Prius with a knocking engine and various other problems causing the car to shake and warning / engine lights to turn on and blink, a very bad sign. They fixed it in a single day well below any estimate I had received from the other four or five shops I had called when the problems first appeared and worsened. I figured it was game over for my ride, but now it drives without any noise or shaking! I’m so happy to have my car working again!!! Thank you Le’s Auto Body & Engine Repair!

Overpriced for worked not performed and falsifying information to customer just to get quick money into their pockets. It’s a real shame that the shop owner is the one making these scams himself. Brought in vehicle to be checked for air conditioning not cooling and asked to have it be checked if there were any leaks,the owner himself hooked the machine claiming no leaks were detected but just few days later air conditioning was back to not cooling took vehicle back to him and wanted answers, to which no surprise the owner wanted an additional $200 besides $180 he had already ripped off the first time to check for leaks, so he’s now stating and claiming he never checked for leaks the first time and he only filled it up that we were delusional of saying he checked for leaks the first time around,um funny how we then got it from him saying vehicle was good no leaks detected and we could go ahead and get it filled up. This business owner is nothing but a scam and hope other people come to read reviews and don’t fall for his lying two face because he will rip you off and play you dirty. Continue driving and don’t just give out your money to this shop owner. A true businessman remains true to his word and would never go out of their way to bad mouth a unsatisfied customer unlike this owner, if people go back to previous reviews you can see that there’s many bad reviews to which he replies in an aggressive manner( he will come up with any excuse to try and make the customer look bad and point fingers at the customer and of course not own up to his wrong doings, in hopes of not loosing future naive customers of whom to lure into his trap). He’s not acting like a true professional asking the customer to speak privately to address their concern,that itself speaks so loudly as the type of individual this man is and type of business he runs. Stay away from his shop.

He also noticed something on my car that hadn't raised issues yet, but would in the near future and was able to save me another tow!! Has extremely fair prices as well.
