Went to Leo’s to get my brakes looked at. Having just getting new brakes recently from another mechanic, I knew something was wrong. Come to find out I needed to break lines and my vehicle was deemed unsafe to drive until fixed. So I had to leave it there longer than expected since I went during my lunch break. Well first and foremost they gave me a ride back to work for free which was really generous. Then proceeded to repair my truck at a timely manner and update me throughout the day until it was fixed. They went above and beyond and this kind of work shouldn’t go unnoticed. The price was really cheap and the service was really professionally well done. I’m extremely satisfied and positively recommend.

Definitely recommend. My brakes went bad on my Jeep and I dropped it off on a Saturday morning with no notice. He recognized and fixed the issue quick and it was ready in about 3 hours. My car had a stripped oil pan hole and bolt issue that other shops were quoting me for based on an entire oil pan replacement. Leo's shop was the only place that offered to rethread the hole to correct it (without replacing the entire pan) instead. This was a cheaper option that saved me hundreds. I also had some other maintenance work done that was affordable and I knew was needed eventually based on previous inspections.

My check engine light came on and it was something wrong with the catalytic converter. The mechanic walked me through all the options with prices from least expensive to most expensive with worst-case scenarios. It was the first time a mechanic was upfront about possible causes, other things that could be done, and prices. This shop had it done within 2 hours and I didn't have to spend over 1k on a new catalytic converter. They didn't try to upsell me on anything. This is where I'm going from now on.

DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP. You will absolutely waste your money! We took our car in multiple times for the same issue, and every time we got it back, the problem was still there, and our car continued to die. It was frustrating and felt like we were just throwing money away with no resolution. Finally, we took our car to another shop and had to pay again, but this time, it was worth it. The other shop was professional, listened to our concerns, and took the time to properly diagnose the problem. They were able to identify and fix the real issue in just one visit. Don’t make the same mistake—save yourself the hassle and go somewhere that knows what they’re doing.

On Friday, April 25, 2025, I brought my 2012 Honda Odyssey to Leo’s Auto Care, located at 8911 Nations Ford Road, Charlotte, NC 28217, to address a concern with my vehicle’s air conditioning system. I specifically informed the owner that the AC was not cooling effectively. I explained that although the system produced some cool air, the cooling temperature had noticeably declined over time and no longer functioned as it had when the vehicle was first purchased. The owner stated he would examine the vehicle and, after doing so, recommended an AC service. Based on his professional assessment, I authorized the work. He then performed what he characterized as a comprehensive AC service, including a pressure test, addition of Freon, and other unspecified actions, and charged me $321.29. This service was represented as necessary and sufficient to resolve the issue I described. However, beginning in July 2025, the AC system failed completely and began blowing only hot air. On July 24, 2025, I retained an independent technician, Mr. Derrick Washington of DWash Automotive, to inspect and repair the issue. Mr. Washington determined that the AC condenser was leaking and had been doing so for an extended period of time. He stated unequivocally that any competent inspection of the AC system—within the past 1 to 2 years—would have readily revealed the condenser leak as the root cause of the issue. I immediately contacted the owner of Leo’s Auto Care and raised my concern that the service he performed on April 25 was not only inadequate but also unnecessary, as it did not address the true source of the problem. The owner responded dismissively, claiming it was not his responsibility to diagnose the issue. He further likened the AC service to an oil change—suggesting it was a routine maintenance task, not a diagnostic repair. This response is both professionally irresponsible and legally troubling. As a non-technical consumer, I reasonably relied on his expertise to identify and correct the issue based on the symptoms I reported. At no point did I request an AC service specifically; I brought my vehicle in for professional evaluation and repair of an underperforming AC system. Rather than diagnosing the problem, the shop performed high-margin service work that failed to resolve the actual defect—a clear failure in duty of care. I subsequently requested a refund of the $321.29, as the service was misrepresented, negligently performed, and provided no value. My request was summarily denied. This conduct constitutes: • Negligent misrepresentation • Failure to diagnose and perform work in a commercially reasonable manner • Unjust enrichment through the performance of an unnecessary service • A possible violation of North Carolina consumer protection laws, including deceptive or unfair trade practices under N.C. Gen. Stat. § 75-1.1

I took my car for an alienation and the owner told me that he could not do the alignment because according to him there were many bad parts and that he needed to repair them and which was a lie, I took my car to another workshop and they diagnosed me that the car had its suspension parts in good condition and there was no problem, they did the alignment and balancing without any problem, this workshop apart from that he lied to me maybe so that I could change parts with them and charge me for something that my car did not need, the owner charged me $85 for the fraudulent diagnosis he made, and apart from all this he did not want to give me the payment invoice, this workshop tells you lies to steal your money in repairs that your car does not need, do not take your car to this workshop.

I can’t be more happy for writing this review! I came in today because my car was having some kind of weird issue (at least to me) and as soon as I stepped in the auto care, the lady at the front desk was very welcoming and polite. This garage is great if you want honest, quality work, reliability and great customer service. I took my 2014 Ford f150 to for several issues including valve cover, spark plug, water pump, ignition coils, seals, as well as several other items. They gave me constant updates as I was out of town. The truck runs like new and I am grateful for their meticulous work. I was also happy with the competitive pricing.
