I truly don't understand what has happened to this location in the last 2 to 3 years. It has gone from a place I wholly trusted to a place I go simply because I have an account and dread the outcome every time! This last week I had my son take one of our 5 vehicles in there to check an issue. He was sent home with quotes stating rotors. Rear rotors would be under warranty and front need done. Also an alignment ( when I just had one done 3 months ago). I called Friday and said let's get an appointment for Saturday preferably to have the rotors done. The lady couldn't careless why I was calling and said just bring it in. I said I'd like an appointment. Ssahse scheduled me for 10 Saturday (today) and asked if I'd be waiting. I said I would. Well thnhs came up so we dropped it off at 9. And I went to do my other things. At 2pm they call to say yes rotors need done and we can take care of that.now! Like what!? What do you think my appointment was for . Then when telling Tony how annoying this was cause I had an appointment for the work to be done he acted as though I had ZERO right to be annoyed. Seriously. Their management needs to get it together and the employees need to stop and hear the customers.

I went in with a brake issue and they told me my system was contaminated but for 4k they could fix it. I got my keys and left. I went to a different shop and they said it was the brake booster and could fix it for 900 with a warranty. I took that deal ! I'm never going to Schwartz for anything anymore. !

1 star for this location. From the moment I walked in the door, this particular employee was short with me and treated me different than any other time I have been to Les Schwab in the past. Turns out he is the managerš³. I had to stop the techs from lifting my car wrong, then I watched them fumble with the necessary parts for a few minutes before I poked my head out and offered to just bring the wheels back once I get them off the car as there is no need to be trying to finagle some way just to lift the car. The manager told me I can take my business elsewhere and proceeded to tell me they āknow how to rotate tiresā⦠and that this store has been here for 40 years and āits customers like you who are the problemā I have always raved about Les Schwab to anyone who would listen but I think Les Schwab needs to listen this time. The manager of this store is treating your hard earned customers like trash.

I was concerned about my vehicle having brakes that caused the rotors to be extremely hot to the touch after just a few miles of driving. So, I decided to visit Les Schwab Tire Center on 1st street in Yakima while I was visiting. I explained my concerns and was told they would assign someone to look at my brakes as soon as they could. Their store was swamped though. It looked like everyone picked that day to have work done on their cars!! I had to wait about an hour for someone to look at my truck. Thatās how busy they were! Thankfully they had a little waiting area with a tv tuned to American Ninja Warrior, free popcorn, and a drink and snack vending machines. Eventually an employee sought me out to explain that my brakes were ok. They were just heating up. I was also informed that my rear brakes were getting close to needing a replacement , but the front brakes were ok. For now. I was very impressed that they didnāt try to talk me into any repairs and were straightforward with me. I will seek out a Les Schwab when it is time for me to replace my brakes!

I'm going in my first road trip next week and wanted to be sure my tires had air. The service was prompt, polite, and efficient. There's no charge for the service but I figure I give a simple $5 tip, you know, something for the tip jar but the Les Schwab service man declined, he said he'd get fired it he took it. I know $5 bucks isn't any kinda of a real tip but it adds up, plus the service is free. Come on Les, have a heart. I don't see a damn thing wrong with tips, especially in our troubled economy. I'm asking the company to reconsider their position on no tips. What's the problem? Thank you for the service

Kyler and the rest of the staff here are a friendly professional bunch of hardworking people. They listen to your concerns and find answers to problems. They fixed the problem with my car as well as found an additional issue. They were professional and contacted me before doing any repairs so there were no surprises. they also showed me the damaged parts that they replaced I will definitely do business here again. CHECK THE WORK THEY DO. The tires i puchased were NOT balanced properly TWICE! THEN the cashier has the audacity to say "dont worry we wont charge you for the balance" the THIRD TIME i came in to have them do work on LIFETIME WARRANTIED TIRES.

Great place for customer service. Tony goes Above and beyond for customers. There are more employees to but don't remember their names sorry guys š. Wait time is at least 30 minutes depending on work they do. Tony even saw the smallest detail on other tires that where hazard to keep driving but I didn't cause it was small slash but he opened it with pliers you can see damage.

I'm waiting for my tires to get fixed for a third time. Just wanted my tires changed then balanced. Well they changed them but haven't figured out how to balance them yet. Now I'm getting attitude from the front desk lady and the worker that worked on it. The worker said he cleaned them out before putting them on but I watched him clean one out but a different worker did the other tire and he didn't clean it out. I just want my tires fixed so I can stop losing work because I'm having to keep coming back. Also the attitude is not professional. Not happy with this company

Waited for Almost 2 hours for a tire rotation witch is part of my warranty that was already purchased. Seen multiple customers come in purchasing new service after and they've been taken care of and already out the door. I missed my Dr. APPOINTMENT and had to reschedule. Feel like sales/commission is cared more about here at this location .

After taking my Jeep to the Lake Forest Park Les Schwab spending a full day in the Puyallup Les Schwab and trust me when I say they all did their best to try to figure out what the crunching noise in my front driver side system was. They heard it. They acknowledged it but no one could figure it out. I had to take it into Yakima Les Schwab which is where I live but I travel and I spent 2 days at Les Schwab still. They worked on my car and they were putting different parts trying different things. Trying to figure out what was wrong with it. Finally, Heath patnode one of their employees was able to figure it out and it went from being a ridiculously expensive bill to just the labor because it was a simple and easy fix. So I just have to say thank you and I appreciate everyone's hard work but especially to Heath for figuring out what was happening and saving me, my Jeep and my bank account! I'm very pleased with the customer service. I am very pleased by the customer I received it all three. Les schwabs but Yakima got the job done

Iām normally not the ranting type but good gosh. 2002 S First St Yakima, WA Les Schwab just lost me as a loyal customer of almost 10 years. Talked with them on the phone before I dropped off the car. Advised them that my car has wheel spacers and the very nice woman on the phone let me know that it would be okay āwe will figure it out, youāre fine.ā Set and appointment for 11am today. 11/26/2025 Car was dropped off and they had it all day while I was at work. 11am -5:35pm. I called them at 2:53pm to check on how things were going. If they had any questions, concerns or issues. Call log shows where i spoke with them for 2 min and 36 seconds. They let me know āitās in line for tires right now. It will be done by 5pm.ā GREAT!!! I get off work at 5 and arrive at 5:30 to pick up my car, Iām excited. Iāve always loved Les Swabs and their customer service, specifically the Selah location, theyāve been amazing. Pulled into the parking lot and my car hasnāt been touched. Same rims and tires on the car that were on it when It was dropped off. When I go inside they had the make, model and year of the car wrong. They had 1999 vw Passat Itās a 2001 Audi a4 Quattro. They didnāt have a clear idea of what was going on with it. To give them the benefit of a doubt, I asked them if it was done. They told me āyes it should be.ā Then they asked the mechanics, the mechanic said āwe canāt work on it because it has wheel spacers.ā I asked them why they didnāt call me or something to let me know. They told me āwe called you at 2:53pmā I showed them my call log showing where I called them at 2:53pm. They never called me. This is absolutely unacceptable. I bought the car with wheel spacers on it. Theyāre installed because of the break caliper upgrade done to the car prior to me buying the vehicle. Without the wheel spacers the rims will contact the calipers front and rear. Theyāre not willing to help and now Iām stuck not knowing what to do. Called a couple shops around Yakima to see who may be able to help. Firestone didnāt understand why they wouldnāt work on it seeing as they do that kind of work regularly and do not discriminate on wheel spacers. Hello Firestone. Iām sad to be leaving Les Swabs, theyāve been my go to since I could drive and the only tire shop Iāve recommended to everyone I know. This is tragic. I hope no one has this experience as it has not been a good one.

On a Saturday I needed urgent Brake service, pads, rotors, and calipers. Patty was able to work me in. Salvador did the work. Excellent. It was an extremely busy day. Salvador got it done at the time he said it would be completed. Both Salvador and Patty were professional and knowledgeable, Excellent craftsmanship, and their people skills were top notch. Excellent popcorn, coffee and snack bar with a good variety of magazines. Also a big screen television. These two will be a definite go back to for me in the future Thank Patty and Salvador
