My car broke down and i asked him if he could go pick it up. He said "i will pick it up on friday" monday comes by and my car is still sitting in the same place where i left it. When i arrived at his shop to find out why my car had yet to be picked up he said "i forgot all about it, you should had called me to remind me" im sorry but that is extremely unprofessional. I should not have to call my mechanic to remind him to do his job. In fact, any respectable mexhanic would find that to be insulting. I wasted over 250 dollars to get back and forth to work while my car set on the side of the road while i was under the impression it was gonna get worked on. Complete waste od time and money. 5 days later and im back to square one. Never ever doing business with him again.

Been a customer there for more than 30 years. The most honest person as far as mechanical repairs on a vehicle that I have ever met. My entire family has their vehicles service there and I have referred many people over the years to this Play Store repairs on their automobiles and they are very satisfied and continue to patronize lose station to this day. He is also more than reasonably priced on all his services from oil changes two major repairs and you won't find a more honest person then Lou. That's why on any given day when you drive by his shop the place is packed with Vehicles waiting to be serviced.

The long drive up the east coast starting from Texas is never easy but Lou's Service Station made it easier when we crashed into a deer ten miles south of Mt. Pocono. Car was not too heavily damaged but still basically unable to be driven (for long periods of time). We brought the car into the place mid-day Saturday and we were back on the road mid-afternoon Monday. Have already driven a solid two hundred miles and the repairs are still looking solid, a little bit over a thousand miles left to go! Our car went into the ICU but came out (almost) as beautiful as ever thanks to Lou and his crew!

Lou's service station on Lafayette and Westside is a great place to get your car fixed they are professional they will do the job right the first time they will work with you financially and they will get the job done pretty fast and get you back on your way they will not lie to you to make more money and they will honest with their diagnosis infects exactly what needs to be fixed

Lou used to seem like a fair and honest guy. Then he gave me attitude when I asked why he needed to replace something for the second time in a few months. I wanted a genuine explanation of the issue and never got one he just seemed flustered and aggravated. He told me the part may have not been changed when I had it on the receipt in front of his face. Do yourself a favor and find a more professional garage with people who care about the quality of the work.

Everyone is extremely professional at Lou's Service Station. The team is very honest with the customers, and everything is done in a timely fashion as well as being affordable. The owner helped me out with fixing a large crack in my front bumper. Instead of having to get a new bumper he made it look brand new at an inexpensive price! I would have never known it was the same bumper if he didn't tell me. I highly recommend taking a stop down for whatever your vehicle needs.

My car randomly wouldn't start one night, and Lou's was recommended by a friend so I called to see if I could have it dropped off there. He was friendly and said he would look at it in the morning. Once it was there I spoke to Paul who told me my starter needed to be replaced, and when I said I am not familiar with cars and asked what it meant, he kindly explained it to me. My car was ready within a day and when I picked it up, he also showed me the part and explained it again. The cost was super reasonable and staff were all nice. I would definitely use them again!

Brought my car in because is was boiling my engine coolant, not only did they fix it in a jiffy and only charged me 30 bucks, the man showed me what to do just in case it happens again. Service like that is service I seek, will be coming back for regular oil changes and maintainence!! Love ya lou thanks for being awesome. (Left an extra 10$ tip and ill be tipping eveytime i return, also jiffy lube and Mavis SCREWED me over before this so do with that what you will).

It’s very strange they don’t do appointments there! They tell you to drop the car off but don’t start working on it for 4-5 days later? . So I lost money taking an uber to work . It’s very strange . Something so simple that would have taken 20 minutes max .
