I had to replace a gasket that was behind the timing chain cover for my Infiniti g37. The job was not easy but Boyz and Kiki confidently says they can do it and offered me a great price for it. I agreed and dropped off my car early in the morning. When I got the car back, everything was put on correctly as if it was never taken off. Very impressed by this place. Everybody is hardworking and the manager Boyz is an honest man who gives you honest answers. Will be returning for future repairs and maintenance.

Owners are great, seems like there is no job too small or to big that they cant tackle and handle- will look into your auto issue @ no charge and explain options if you decide to repair. My car got stuck close to their shop so I called to check pricing to fix the problem I had with the car. I got a quote from them and then I called my local mechanic to compare prices. Their quote was double the price. I decided not to go with the service and tow my car to my local mechanic. Don’t have anything bad to say about this place but maybe just be aware of their prices.

This is the third time when I went to Lucas, becou it is a closer to my home. So pro , honest and confident....I used to go at First Class Auto Center in Anaheim for the past 24 years. They used to be ok and fair on the prices, especially i was a good customer Not anymore... I compared the prices, and Boy/z got me a very good estimate twice... The manager checked my car right away and told me I didn’t need to change it at the moment - that it’s not worth paying right now to change it. I called this guy to have a pre-purchase inspection on a car. He said he could do that but when i bring the car to the place, he lifted the car up for 5mins and have a very quick visual inspection. When he did the OBD scanner, he only showed us that the TPMS sensor needed to be replaced, and did not tell us about DEPLOYED driver airbags, non functioning passenger airbags , NON functional ABS system, the rear shocks were leaking and that the hood was changed and the car had an accident. and when we asked why the airbag light was flashing he simply ignored the question and assured us the car was “Safe” to drive. later on when we went to another mechanic after buying the car, and were informed about everything wrong with the car, we called and asked Lucas why he did not tell us about the problems, he said that he “didn’t lie and that the car was safe to drive, but yeah it had an accident before”. We ended up buying a car based on his recommendation that we would have never bought otherwise and now we are stuck paying for it to get fixed and all is because of this shady mechanic. TLDR: Shady, dishonest mechanic, never go there! Attached are pictures of the second inspection after buying the car.

I can’t say enough good things about Lucas Auto Repair! I recently had my rack and pinion and power steering pump replaced here, and the whole experience was outstanding from start to finish. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and very straightforward about what needed to be done.
