Highly Recommended if youre in the area. Not your typical chain-repair service, it's only David, and he knows his stuff! Don't let the fact that he works out of his home deter you. I started texting him and he was responding with various thoughts and possibilities. A+ communication. Had a fuse problem. He did a few checks and tightened the connections from my battery which solved the issue. Took him >10 minutes and I was back on the road. On Christmas Day my family and I were on a roadtrip heading to Canada when suddenly we encountered an odd sound as we pressed the brake to a point we knew we couldn't continued driving. I googled for mechanics near by and came across Lucas County Auto Mechanic. Unsure if we could be serviced on Christmas Day, late afternoon, I decided to give Dave a call. He responded promptly and told me to stop by so that he could take a look and see if he could help us. I'm so grateful I found him! Dave is an amazing mechanic. absolutely awesome place. my mom and i were on a road trip and our alternator broke as we were passing through toledo. it was a sunday so dave was the only one willing to take our car and get it fixed up the same day so we could get to see our family. he’s incredibly accomodating, professional, kind and skilled at his work. don’t be fooled by the fact that this shop isn’t big and corporate, you’ll get top notch auto repair at a fraction of the price of a big chain like firestone and your car will be fixed up a lot quicker too. he even stopped us before we left just to make sure the alternator bolts were tight enough so nothing else would go wrong with the car on our trip! what a kindhearted and wonderful guy. would definitely recommend :)

David is a highly skilled mechanic and a great person. I was in a situation with bad brakes and wheel bearing hub plus a bad sensor on a 14 Cadillac ATS. I brought it from out of state and it had been sitting awhile. I had pressing issues with sick family members and needed transportation. The car was not fit to drive far. David took me right away and did a 5 STAR PERFECT JOB!!! He really went out of his way with inclement weather and not expecting such a big job that needed to be done asap. David is the man! My alternator went out on me on the Ohio turnpike, and I ended up stuck at a small town gas station, three hours from home on a Sunday afternoon. Desperate to get home that night so I could go to work the next day, I called around and David was the only one willing to work on my car. I got an alternator and the car was towed over there, and David did an outstanding, detail-oriented, efficient job on the car on a Sunday evening! Good price, and he even went above and beyond and popped out a dent in my rear bumper! He also checked my oil without me even having to ask, which was good because I was low. I've lived in three states, and David is one of the best mechanics I've ever met in my life. Definitely will consider getting work done by him in the future, as I often pass by Toledo on road trips!

I needed my throttle body and spark plugs changed. The shop I took it too, wanted an absurd amount of money and 5 hours to fix it. I googled mechanics near me and found Dave. I can't say enough about David. Called him 5:30pm on Sunday, brought my car over to him, test drove then took tires off. Car was jerking back and forth was scary. Found out the control arm I replaced wasn't tighten and was 100% the issue. As little as the issue was it saved me hours of stress, and to do it in the dark on a Sunday night when it's 8 degrees out, I will be forever grateful of this man.

Was charged an outrageous prices by all the “big chain” auto shops around for a throttle body replacement in my 2017 ford escape. Halfway to Ohio from Atlanta it went out and had to get it towed the rest of the way.
