I am 62 and have been to many of the repair shops on the west bank. Express Car Care is by far the best. The staff are very customer oriented and have expert advice and staff to take care of any problem presented. Their prices are fair and many times a bargin when you consider the work is always done correct. I have never had the need to bring my car back for the same problem due to poor or improper repairs. One time is all thats needed to get your car back and know that it is fixed. I have my friends and family go to this location for great service and fair pricing.

I called to see if I can get a sensor in my car. I was told by the representative that I can drop it off and leave my car. I can't stay and wait. That's a no I won't. I would rather wait to see if you can do it and how much would it cost. If I decide to take the offer I still would wait. This certain sensor should take less than 20 minutes to put on and tested to make sure everything is ok. I took my car somewhere else. I didn't have to leave. There were 2 cars ahead of me and was out less then 2 hours. Lucky will not get my ever.

Update: My 2008 altima crashed and burned (literally, an car accident) i now hace a 2011 rogue- luckys is continuing the service, non stop quality πππ - While each car situation is different my experience all 8 times ive brought my 2008, altima in with nearly 210k miles on her has been wonderful. I experienced repairs that took days, and repairs that took only a few hours and each time these guys were super professional, and i also find im not paying for "extra" things. Or having her randomly have new problems immediately after service. This place is so honest. You guys. Ill never go elsewhere. --

I've been going to Lucky and his team for several years, through several cars between my wife and I. One word sums up the quality of service - INTEGRITY. If it's broke, they fix it. If it's not, they don't do a bunch of useless work to drive up the price. They get it done quickly, professionally, and leave a little "rosie" finale' for you on the dash. I HIGHLY recommend Express Car Care to anyone who asks about a mechanic! I'm sure there are others that do the same quality work as Lucky's crew, but I've yet to find them. He pays the best mechanics, trained by dealers, very well (I'm told) and they seem to stay loyal to him. I rarely see a new face, and everyone is polite and professional every time I go there.

Lucky Roger Express Car Care is an honest car repair shop. For this main reason, we don't trust anyone else to work on our cars. They have qualified technicians who can explain to me what's going on and has the expertise to professionally handle the work. And always impressed the time frame they get it done as well. I usually work on my laptop while getting the repairs, watch TV and my kids love the fish tank in the waiting area too.

I have been to Express Car Care a few times since moving to NOLA. They are military friendly and also provide a referral discount for bringing them other customers as well. They did a winter travel inspection prior to my trip to Michigan and was happy with the service and recommendations to make it a safe trip. Prices are fair and staff are professional. I have an older vehicle and they keep it on the road. I will be back for my next scheduled oil change.

My wife and myself drove from Dallas to New Orleans for a cruise. On the morning of the cruise(a Sunday) we tried pulling out of the parking lot at our hotel and the car would not reverse more then a couple of inches. I dreaded this was a transmission issue but since we had to catch our cruise ship we called AAA who towed our car to Express Care Care which was just a couple of miles from our hotel. Since we would be at sea I had my sister contact the mechanic on Monday morning to let them know if it would be worthwhile fixing the problem. I dreaded the transmission was out and it was not worthwhile to have it fixed base don the age of our car. But my sister was able to contact me on the ship via text and told me that the issue was with a bolt from the brake caliper coming off and bending it. They had the issue fixed(including re-balancing the tires) the same day by working with my sister. And they were fine to wait on us to return the following Monday to pick up our vehicle and pay when we picked up the car. (The cost was much less then I was expecting). When we returned I called them on Monday after they opened and the mechanic told me what went on. (Nice guy...though forgot his name...sorry horrible with names) They even replaced a brake bulb light that had gone out. When we took an Uber to the shop to pick up our car everything was ready to go and we were out of there in about 10 minutes. Both my sister and myself were very impressed with the honesty and expertise of these folks. Just wish there shop was in the Dallas Area. :) Thanks Guys!

I would highly recommend this auto shop. They are honest, hardworking and professional with all the work they do, along with treating every customer I have seen with respect and care. Their prices are more than fair and every experience I have had with them has been positive and reinforces my willingness to go to them above anyone else. If you need auto work done, go to these fine people.

Lucky Roger's is, hands down, the best auto mechanic I have ever been to. I could describe all the tangible reasons, such as a professional and friendly staff, fair prices, and good work, but there is something more to this place which ties all the individually good parts and makes it something truly great. They tell it like it is, they give you your options, they don't do work without asking you first, and they go the extra mile to make sure they understand exactly why you are taking your car there, whether its routine maintenance or something more. I literally cannot recommend them enough!

I am from South Carolina on road trip and needed a diagnosis on a tire noise quickly. I read the reviews for Lucky Rogers and found that they lived up to their high ratings as they were friendly, helpful, and professional. We Waited in their comfortable lounge area a short time until the problem was fixed. I would recommend them as a top notch and trustworthy repair shop to anyone!

I drive in from Midcity for Luckys β¨ Nissan racked up a quote of nearly 3k for my repairs. Luckys retested everything to verify and proved half the repairs to not be necessary at all!!! From 3k to a 600 dollar repair that I can wholeheartedly trust. Nissan told me these were do or die repairs. The staff has been here for forever I donβt see turnover, Nissan has new people weekly so where is the experience? With the staff being consistent, theyβre taken care of so they know the repeat customers is where the business is. As a single woman who drives Nola alone itβs important to not break down somewhere, I know Iβm safe here.

AMAZING! I was out of town and they treated me like I had been going there for years! They did not try to get over on me and finished my car in a very timely manner, so that I was able to get back on the road for a 7 hour drive. I was so nervous and frazzled because we were getting ready to leave our hotel to get back on the road and the car would not start! They got the car back running and it definitely seems to drive way better than before! You can definitely tell this business is family owned and operated. They truly care about their work and customers! Even the technician was amazing! He really fixed and checked the vehicle with care and then showed me things that were wrong that I didn't know about! Such as the vehicle needing a new radiator cap and that the vehicle had the wrong battery in it, from the repair shop who worked on it previously. While we were there, my son mentioned he was hungry... and I'd like to give A VERY Special shout out to STEVE, who gave us excellent customer service and even shared some of his lunch with my son and I! Also, a HUGE Thank you to his mom for making and sharing her delicious meatloaf! I am very thankful for this repair shop, it doesn't matter if you are from out of town or a customer they see on a regular, they will treat you right! Also, a lady who was a local in the lobby was getting her car fixed and was vouching for them, saying she doesn't take her car anywhere else. From my experience, this is definitely a successful business who cares about their customers and the work they do! THANK YOU!

As a AAA member, Express Car Care was the first automotive repair shop to be displayed when I was using the AAA app for a tow. I was hesitant to use them or any other place for that matter being that I have a mechanic but he was going out of the country and I needed my car serviced ASAP. I ultimately decided to have my car towed there because if it's an AAA preferred shop then it must be reputable and I'm glad that I did. Steve called me as soon as my car arrived and was extremely courteous and professional. He assured me that once the problem was diagnosed that he'd call me before doing any work and that's exactly what he did. I appreciated him thoroughly explaining the diagnosis and answering all of my questions. As a female, I oftentimes feel like I'm getting taken advantage of, but that was not the case with Steve and ECC. I picked up my car the same day (Thursday 6/22) as when it was dropped off. The harmonic pulley and crank shaft had to be replaced. It was more than I wanted to spend ($574), but it did end up being less than originally quoted ($628) and my car drove great. Unfortunately, I had car trouble again on Friday, 6/23. I pumped gas, drove off and all of a sudden the temperature gage shot up to H and smoke began to come out from under the hood. I immediately pulled over, called AAA and ECC and spoke to Steve. He again, assured me that they'd diagnose the problem and get back to me. Because it was a Friday and late in the afternoon, my car wouldn't be ready until the following week. Fast forward to today (6/27) when Steve called to say that I needed a new radiator reservoir tank and that it'd be $268. Again, I wasn't expecting it to be that much, but it's better than a cracked radiator. When I went to pick up my car Steve was out, so John assisted me. I mentioned that it was the second time bringing my car in two days and he, without me asking, removed the diagnostic fee. My bill went from $268 to $139. Needless to say that I was very relieved that it was a simple fix and much more affordable. While some may say that I paid too much, it's irrelevant because I also paid for honesty, professionalism and quality work serviced by good people. I will be taking my car to them moving forward. The location is easy to get to and their hours are convenient. I also like how big the shop is, the way that it is maintained in the interior as well as the exterior. There's no trash, tires, broke down cars or anything of the like around there. And the customer service is stellar. A big thank you to Steve and John along with the rest of the employees at ECC!

Kudos to Steve and everyone at Lucky Rogers. We were in transit on our way to Florida when we had a serious suspension/alignment issue.I scrambled to find service immediately. I called Lucky Ronβs from a Google listing and spoke to Steve. He was able to get my car in that morning and I was on the road later that day. He saved my trip. Very professional, efficient, and reasonably priced without taking advantage of my situation. I am forever great full.

I took my car to get front end alignment for there price of $69.99. After waiting 10 days for appointment, I was told the price is $69.99 to $99.99 and my car would need a steering sensor reset mandatory for additional $37.99. They then told me if they couldn't align my car it would be a $39.99 alignment check charge. So, guess what, they couldn't align my car because mechanic said my outer steering linkage needed to be replaced and it would cost me $540.00 for them to do it. I purchased the parts for $30 dollars and replaced them myself , which took a total of 45 minutes. So if the parts were $30.00, they were going to charge me $510.00 for less than an hour of labor. I would not recommend this place to anyone! DO NOT GET YOUR CAR FIXED OR ALIGNED AT LUCKY ROGERS!

So I make an appt for a front end alignment a week away. I get call the day of service not to come because of machine issues. They didn't give me a reschedule date. I call the next day inquiring of the service. I'm told the machine is fixed but it's now three weeks out before I can get the alignment! I was there a week before but was told the tech was on vacation. Customers are obviously not important. Unacceptable!!

This shop placed tape on my sensor after my diagnosis in hopes of getting more money!! Took my car in for a MAF code, after picking my car up it cut off 1/2 a mile from the shop. I had it towed back to the shop, and they told me that there was no new codes and that I just needed to get my sensor fixed which was cost $1000 before they could look at my car any further. After three days of my car acting funny, I took my car to Autozone to get my codes ran and I had 5 new codes pop up. I then decided to take a look at it myself. I pulled my sensor out and there was tape on it. I put the sensor in myself so I knew that it didnβt come like that. My filter was intact and there was no other debris found on, in, or near the sensor other than the tape. It was strategically placed there, with the thought that as a woman I wouldnβt check the sensor. Be cautious when taking your car to them. They are kind people and the customer service is great but Iβm afraid that covers up the malicious activity happening in this shop.

Our truck caught a flat, luckily this repair shop was down the street. But it was later in the day and the shop was about to close. They told us we can park it there and then get it serviced the next day if weβd like. We stay pretty far so I just needed to get a spare or used tire to put on just so we can get it home. I bought a used tired and this bald guy said they donβt do service with used tires. Which is okay. I proceeded to leave, and the guy came out behind me and threatened to tow our truck in a few hours if we didnβt move it. He was so rude about it, I couldnβt believe how he could be so rude for no reason. I didnβt mind moving it, but why say that we can park it there and then threaten us Another guy came out and helped us out. Which was VERY sweet of him. Itβs just so sad how people can be so rude and mean for no apparent reason. At least there are some good people left in the world. Sad that one person can tarnish a good reputation w/ a really bad attitude.
