Absolutely amazing mechanics. We moved down here with a jeep that has an attitude, to say the least. Our engine melted and unknowingly we went to a shop that scammed us and didn't fix any other problems causing more electrical issues and other issues to happen. We looked into many shops around town until we found this one and they immediately took in our jeep and fixed it after it was sitting in my driveway for months not being able to start. They told us everything that went wrong and it was easily traced to the other shop we went to (The Car Guys, would not recommend), not doing the proper work. A week later after all the repairs our jeep is running great and back on the road! We had another little hiccup with our serpentine belt and a pulley yesterday night, we got it towed there and by this morning it was finished and back to normal. Forever grateful for this shop, if you need any work done, especially on a jeep, go here! They have my business for life.

Couldn’t be more happy with the service and work that I had done. Brought my 4runner into the shop for a $600 alternator… and left with a $250 belt tentioner. The guys not only were honest and didn’t try to upsell me, but they had fantastic communication through the whole process. Never met a shop with such great guys and personal morals and values. Besides the customer service, the work was done incredibly fast and with great attention to detail. My 4runner runs like a top again, and I can’t wait to be back to spend more money! -oddly enough😂

Wayne, David and the mechanics are the BEST OF THE BEST!!! They are patient, informative and explain in detail what is going on with your vehicle. The first mechanic shop that I have been to that doesn't make me feel like I am ignorant because I am a woman. I highly recommend them. They go above and beyond with dedication, honesty and commitment to doing quality work at a decent price. They are my "go to" when I don't have the time or knowledge to do the work ourselves.

I’ve taken my car to Lunar Low twice now for repair service. First time was for an assumed engine problem. They ran diagnostics and found nothing wrong. Never even charged me for the technician time. Today my battery was presumed dead and when I took the car there for a replacement, he told me that Auto Zone could replace it for considerably less than he’d have to charge. Again, no cost. This business hasn’t made a nickel off me, but they’ll have me as a loyal customer for any work that might need to be done in the future. If I could give them 20 stars, I would!

With our Son away a college, he needed an alternator put in his truck. The Toyota dealership tried to overcharge him. Lunar Low worked his truck in a day after having it towed to them and they had him back on the road for less than what they initially quoted me. We will for sure bring the truck back if it needs work while he is at school.

I waited a few months to post this, because I was so mad in the moment, I didn’t want to be crude. So here’s my experience: I was recommended to Lunar Low by a friend who had a great experience with them. My belt had snapped and I had a gasket leak, they fixed it for a fair price, and told me I had a 30 day warranty on all of their work. A couple weeks after, I noticed a noise again, so I went to have them make sure things were still in working order, so my belt wouldn’t snap again. They told me everything was still fine, but to me the noise was very unsettling, so I said “are you sure?” which was my biggest mistake. They mistook my eagerness to ensure my car was in working order, for foolishness. Here’s the thing: I’m a petite girly white girl, but I grew up working on cars, I just don’t have the means to do my own work right now where I live, because there’s only street parking. They then, decide to call me back, and tell me my gear shifter is broken! Completely left out on the first call, which is wild because thats a crazy mistake to overlook, considering you literally cant move the car without it, and also would have been mentioned the first and second time i brought my car to them. After I drove up there to set things straight, the big bald guy who I’m assuming is the owner, accused me of knowing it was broken and trying to get them to fix it. I then of course, accuse him of breaking it or lying, because why would he not bring this up as soon as he went to drive the car and couldn’t move it? because I had my car there 2 weeks prior and the gear shifter was fine, so why would this not be his first call, but his last call? His next excuse was that I had spilled a drink on my gear shifter. I had spilled a drink in my car, nowhere near the mechanism of the gear shifter. I then explained I had taken my car apart and fixed it myself before, so I knew this wasn’t something that just breaks, and pointed to where I actually spilled the drink. They started to get quiet, back down, but still insisted they kept my car overnight. I reluctantly agreed, because they said they wouldn’t charge me to fix it (because I wasn’t paying for a lie). and the kicker? at 8am the next morning he claims “I don’t know what happened, it just started working again!” wooow big shocker! So I go to pickup my car and never look back. But here is why I’m actually leaving the bad review. MY WINDSHIELD WAS CRACKED RIGHT UP THE MIDDLE when I went to pick my car up. Not a scattered crack, one precise crack that definitely was not there before. What was I to do? Go cuss him out? Force him to fix it? There’s no way I was ever letting him touch my car again. So I can only assume out of his frustration with me catching him in lies, and not letting him take advantage of me, he decided to get the last laugh by cracking my windshield. So now every day I see this crack, its my reminder to warn every woman in this city not to visit their business. If you’re a man though you’ll probably have a fine experience! But I can not say enough how rude, disrespectful, unprofessional, and scummy the owner is. He will reference his glowing reviews if you ever try to discredit him, so here’s a real one!

If I could grant 10 stars, I would. This place is the first one who took time to explain to me what the issue with my car was and didn’t automatically assume that as a female, I wouldn’t understand. They even took me out to my lifted vehicle to show me the exact issue, and what the broken part actually was for. I had taken my car to the dealership after two other shops “couldn’t figure out what was wrong” and the dealership said it would be over $11k to fix. Lunar Low laughed at that price and slashed it down to less than $2k, explaining how they were able to do so. From major issues to the annual inspection and regular oil changes, I won’t take my vehicle anywhere else. Highly recommend to any and everyone!

The guys at Lunar Low Auto are very professional. Their prices are fair and are very honest. Having dealt with other auto shops in the past, lunar low is one of the best. Knowing nothing about lift kits, David helped me through the process. He was knowledgable, kind and helped me figure out exactly what I needed. I highly recommend this shop David and his team are very kind and knowledgeable professionals! As a younger person I have a very hard time finding shops that don’t try to upsell me or add on unnecessary repairs. Lunar low was able to fit me in the next day for a leak repair and charged much less than other mechanics quoted. While I was there they got the work done very quickly and were able to check out another issue that a different shop misdiagnosed and saved me so much money. Thank you!

FR 09 19 2025 Was driving to the beach for a day trip and had a radiator hose blow out. 80 mi from my home I found that several places could not work me in but Lunar Low Automotive did. They were quick and efficient and just a bunch of good guys and one lady that I saw lol. They do a lot of business but I would highly recommend them, although they don't seem to need my recommendation and it's obvious why - they're on top of things. Thanks Lunar Low Automotive 👍🏻 There's only one reason I gave them reasonable instead of great price. Great price usually comes along with poor service. Of three things to look for, in engineering project management this is a very real quandary called "The Triple Constraint", or (Quality, Cost, and Time) in using a vendor, service or contractor, "You can have it good, fast, or cheap—pick two." Good and fast: High quality and quick delivery come at a higher cost. Good and cheap: High quality at a low cost takes more time. Fast and cheap: Quick delivery at a low cost compromises quality. I have a lot of engineering axioms. That's a fun one I like to refer back to and it's more often than not accurate. After the service an important one is "Inspect what you expect" 😅🤓🤔👍🏻 After 30 years is engineer that among dozens of other axioms are ingrained into my mind 😂.
