I have had a great experience with them in the past. I usually bring my Mazda3 in for service that I cannot do myself. They sent me the attached letter. I wasn’t interested in selling but I thought I might as well check it out and see what they offer me. When I got there they were asking a bunch of questions (which I totally understand) including how much I owe on it. After the sales guy looked at it he took my keys and disappeared for around half an hour. I had to ask another sales person to find him. Finally the sales manager brought their offer to me. Market for my car is $5,000-$6,000 so I was expecting $7,000-$8,000. The offer was for $2,000. I owe more than $2,000 on my car. They could not even have the decency to offer how much I owe on it. I cannot believe they honestly thought I would make such a stupid decision as to sell my car for less than I owe on it. They wasted my time and lied to me about paying me “above market value” for my car. Edit 5/25/2025: I have received another letter in the mail saying the same things. The letter mentioning the tariff pricing was the one I received recently. After the insulting offer they gave me they still think I am willing to bring my car in to them again.

I purchased a XT5 Cadillac SUV from Luther Mazda. I finished with the finance mgr and went back to Noah the sales man desk. I was ready to get the key to the car. Noah stepped away and came back. He showed me the sheet of paper that said the 5 day agreement to bring the car back and told me that they no longer allowed that. He said their policy had changed and they were no longer do that. So I knew their web site still showed that to be their policy. Noa said it was a recent change at their location. So after we discussed it I went on and purchased the car. Thinking they had a right to change there policy. I wasn't satisfied with the car. It just wasn't a good fit for me. But they said I had signed the agreement. The ad was still running and had not been taken off the web site. I ended up canceling my extended warranty because I realized that I had been lied to. When I got my call to pick up my title the ad was still running. So they toally used deceptive and bias saying practices to sa l e me that car. It took them a month to process the cancelation of the warranty while I was waiting to get my money refunded. After various calls to Cameron the sales mgr and more lies and me having to insist on talking to the owner he had them to process the cancelation request. It still took them another month for me to get the money back I to my acct. I had a bad experience. This was the quick version of what I had to go through. Earlier I was getting ready to add my review and reddit mentioned that they used to do unethical practices but after the people talked to the owner he made it right. Well they are still doing unethical practices. I'm having to figure out what my next steps will be. The car is a lot of car for me as a senior.
