I take both my cars to M&J Automotive. They are honest and very detailed about the car needs. Great attitudes and very friendly, I trust them. They don’t try to take your money or make you do more to your car. I love their honesty and even have a waiting room and they provide coffee and water. You should take your vehicles to their shop.

They were patient, understanding, and they didn't try and overcharge me. They were extremely fair on pricing, their staff took the time to find me a specific (hard part to find) part and they got it with in 3 days and called me they day it came in. They had open availability to replace the part and worked around my schedule. They had great customer service, were polite, and extremely quick! 1000% recommend

I brought in two used pickup trucks to M&J for a pre-purchase inspection. As a result of their recommendations based visual and diagnostic codes, I decided against purchasing the first truck I brought in. They told my son they would get back to him within a few hours with the diagnostic report, but it took 2 days. They never answer the phone or return your call when they say they will. We were very unhappy with their customer service. We took our car elsewhere for the needed repairs.

Took my car to get a diagnostic for my transmission on 04-29-25 . Left it for 5 hours and came back to find out I had money missing from my glove compartment . I talked to everyone there and they denied it and the manager also did not care to check the cameras or care to help me out in anyway. It’s the principal , I came here for help and got robbed literally.

Jose explained everything in detail to me and updated me on the status of my car throughout the repair. When I picked up my car, Jose and I discussed an issue with the estimated price. Jose was professional and he and I were able to resolve the issue without incident. This shop is on the Costco Auto-Repair program and rightfully so. They do quality work.

Jose and Marco were not only friendly but patient. I brought in a Subaru Crosstrek that was notorious for having the engine light on. They explained and showed me what each problem was and what it would take to fix it. I was impressed that they were looking at options to help keep the cost down. I ended up choosing to replace the engine with a used one since replacing parts would have cost me more. If the dealership had this kind of service, I would have avoided additional costs that never resolved the problem. Long story short. After J&M double checked different components, they concluded the main problem was the cars computer. The car now functions great and with no engine light on. I have returned since then to have my truck serviced by them without thinking twice.

I took my Chevy in today, because my engine light came on. Marco and Edgor came out to look at it.. They were so kind and took the time to explain everything .. It turned out nothing was wrong. It is really hard to find a honest Mechanic!! This place is!!! Jose was always very kind and also took the time , to explain things.!! My car broke down and I was referred to this place by our warranty company. They allowed me to stay beyond store time because my car last minute went in before they were going to close. Jose the manager really helped me out. Thanks to everyone that made a very eventful day calmer for me! I highly recommend them and will definitely be going back there if I ever need to.

I would not recommend going to this shop they didn’t represent the deal to clearly. When they suggested to apply for easy pay they said it was a program for people having financial difficulties. I didn’t know that they expected me to make 2 payments in one month of $225. I wanted to get my vehicle fixed but it couldn’t have waited. Then easy pay made another deal I paid over $600 in about months and they charged another $1000 on my account. The vehicle was not fixed up to my satisfaction after they made repairs there was a funny noise coming from the engine and for $2,250 I thought they would fix more. I don’t recommend taking your vehicle there I want a full refund. Maybe think about finding a different company to help you out with your vehicle that was so lame.

Brought my 2007 Pontiac G-5 in on November 6,2025 for brakes,oil change and windshield wipers...as usual greeted warmly as I walk into the business...always a pleasure to see Mr.Jose....I have been bringing my car here since 2019...this business was actually revealed to me by God...I asked God to show me a good mechanic because I needed to know why my check engine light was on...that was in 2019....I promised myself that no other mechanics would work on my car...M&J are my mechanics until the day I don't drive anymore...and as usual...the service I hot today was nothing short of perfect....left out of there and my car in riding on air again...thanks to the excellent mechanics and Mr.Jose and his son Marco...

They don't listen to the customer. I explained a noise when slowly driving. They diagnosed as broken tire sensor. I had it repaired. Still have the same problem. They didn't test drive the vehicle. I had a tire pressure sensor light. So they assumed. Then charged me for diagnostic. Incompetence noted.

I have a 2016 Ford Fusion that I have taken here a couple of times. I had a visit today for an oil change and break noise to see if there was a possible issue or if my brakes needed to be replaced . They did an awesome job inspecting the issue and he didn’t try to sell me on anything ! He actually did a great job explaining what they found . My daughter has an older Honda Accord that she has taken there too . I will only use them for my oil changes and car needs in the future . It’s hard to find honest mechanics these days

Was charged 500 something to fix just a flipping coolant leak and they didnt say anything about the engine being bad. Paid for a diagnostic. I asked if it was safe to drive to school and work. He said YES. I went to get gas and my car broke down. Long story short, dont come here if you can help it. Also with negative reviews, they give sarcastic responses to some if you sit and read. Very unprofessional, rude, and mean people.

This place is terrible! Don't go! There is a language barrier there. I dropped my car off on a Monday and a warranty claim was not submitted by them until late Wednesday and they did not follow with the warranty company until Thursday. I was actually told by them that because I had "warranty work" they take their time as opposed to a cash paying customer. I think this repair facility needs more assistance. I can't help but think in looking at these reviews that if I was latino I would have had my car sooner and there would have been more urgency placed on it. There definitely is some favoritism going on with other customers. I think the shop means well they just need help and also someone who knows how to file a claim for warranty work properly. The warranty company said they did not initially approve the claim because the claim was not proven as a failure even though the actual component was covered. Also, they tried to get a $100 deductible out of me when I had to prove to them that due to the warranty company's policy THERE WAS NO DEDUCTIBLE as I was in the allotted time. I had to call the warranty company to have them call them several times to prove this. Just awful service. This place needs help! Lack of staff and lack of knowledge of processing is there and obvious. AND MY CAR IS STILL NOT FIXED!!!! I HAD TO TAKE IT TO ANOTHER REPAIR FACILITY TO FIX THE ISSUE!!!!!

Took my vehicle here for some warranty work. Nice folks in the shop, and im certain that they are competent mechanics. Just kinda disappointed with follow up work. My touch screen factory stereo/backup camera had issues and needed replaced. Also, my service engine light was on. Turns out the light came on due to a wire touching my exhaust and shorting due to it burning through the wires insulation. They said the wire was not covered by warranty, but they re routed it for me and the issue never resurfaced. My screen on the other hand was an odd deal, to say the least. It was approved by warranty, but they had to wait for one to be shipped. So they told me to go ahead and take the car and they would call me back for installation when they received it. I called them periodically for over a year, never to hear that the new screen had arrived. Its been nearly three years now, and the car was recently involved in an accident so we no longer posses it. Still waiting on an over due phone call! Anyway, like I said, I'm sure the maintenance team is qualified and capable. But their communication is less than ideal, and I have since found a shop that is better suited for my family. I wouldn't want my review to cost them business, but I can't in good conscience say that my experience was great either as they never truly completed the job.
