Professional and courteous to a point will lie to you about a quote and then tell you that you have to do a $ 220 diagnostic even if you know your problem after the diagnostic the price may change they qouted me one price then when i tride to obtain parts my self the parts were more than the quoted repair cost that included parts.Then they will recommend a bunch of things you don't need before they charge 2000 for brand new parts for a transmission issue that only cost $30 to fix just hella complicated. Then they don't make it easy to order replacement parts unless you have them fix it. even if you figure out how to get the parts you need they need to be programmed and mercedes won't program reman parts unless you go through them then they will charge another 600 or so for programming and it would be a one month wait for parts from Germany they are completely aware off the defective transmission they're selling and love screwing customers over never buying another benz they are money pits besides they lose 50% value off the lot buy used don't support a company that don't care about ripping off its customer base.

I was calling the service department telling them I didn’t have a wheel lock. I was upset because what if I was stuck on the side of the road! Les Schwab was going to give me new tires but couldn’t. I called the Mercedes dealership service department. They told me any reputable tire place should be able to unlock my wheel. Well this isn’t true. Only Mercedes wheel lock can unlock. So I tried to tell the guy at Mercedes service department that. He hung up on me. It was very unprofessional behavior.

Disgusted with the service. It took them 6 HOURS!!! To do a schedule A service even though they promised to get the car ready in 3 hours!!! My daughter missed an important appointment and was charged $840.00 for schedule A and spark plugs. They totally will take advantage of you if you are trusting and not knowledgeable about cars. Then the service person wanted to do more repairs that my daughter did not understand and wanted to charge her thousands of dollars more. I called to clarify what is wrong with the car but the service person would not pick up, goes straight to answering service his name is Henry Figueroa. I’ll Give them negative stars if it’s available. Crooks!

I actually come here often for my fleet of MB vans we use for my multiple businesses. The woman who answers the phone has NO CLUE what she is doing. Does not know how to listen, Continues to talk OVER you as you ask a question about your appointment time. she has no customer service skills and this is disappointing. Same lady on Saturday when I called and was HUNG UP ON.. and same woman this morning. it was hard to even deal with her. You have this person answering your phones? No wonder your rating is so low MB. You might want to check this issue asap, coming from a local business owner, You wont last long with her running your phones. I am sure you hear this almost daily with this person working for you. Time to fix the problem before you get more truthful bad reviews on your employees who sound like it is their first day on the job. Or maybe just listen in as she answers your phones. You'll see what we are all talking about in your reviews. Hope you take this serious and address the issue. She put a very bad taste in my mouth now multiple times.

The people who answer the phone have no clue about Mercedes campaigns, factory issued ones I am referring to. Wasting my time on the phone when I asked for the service department and explained it word for word from the letter from the factory. This is the fault of the management who is not keeping people informed. Very unprofessional operation and I am still waiting to to talk to the service department so I can bring this vehicle in per the letter. It has been sitting in my garage over 2 years due to constant failure of emission equipment. This campaign is several thousand dollars but due to class action is free to the customers. If you can get them to schedule it that is. Had the campaign done but engine failure the next day so they kept it to fix that. Then brought it back with black boot stains (oil) all over the drivers side. Sandra made them pick it up and detail it. Then emissions equipment failed again fixed under warranty. Then the turbocharger quit working and even though it is listed on the warranty they refused to replace. Since I was a Mercedes mechanic in my earlier days I did it myself and found numerous things they did wrong. So back down to correct those items. Then the fuel gauge quit and they said they would have to pull the fuel tank out. But I found an access cover under the rear seat. But in spite of their diagnosis the sender wasn’t the problem anyway. I feel sorry for people who have to trust them and pay for their lies and or incompetence.

I’m a little saddened as I write this however, I would never recommend anyone purchasing a vehicle at Mercedes Benz of Modesto including anyone associated to this one specifically. I took my vehicle in for service and from day one received the run around. Let me just say, I am still without my vehicle. They then proceeded to make me a large cash offer for everything they failed to do for me and made this situation worse on their part on their end and continued trying to cover up what they did. Horrible customer service! I hired a private investigator and was able to find out what actually happened. I would highly recommend not using this place until they get new personnel , leadership or management. I’m ready to pursue the legal route as they have failed me as a customer and I was able to find out I’m not the only customer they have failed.

Horrible place to buy a car and to have your car service there. The Mechanic department service guys are a joke. The guys in the service department need to be replaced. Mercedes dealership of Modesto needs to get a new list of employees in the mechanic department. The guys who service the cars. Those guys don't know what they're doing. really, they don't. They are ridiculous. I had my car there for 3 weeks. I just bought my car several months ago. The amount of problems i have been having every since I bought my car. I am paying a car payment that i can't enjoy. Modesto Mercedes benz dealership owner needs to step in sometimes to see what's going on with his company. Why did it take almost 3 weeks just to fix my car. My car has been having major problems every since I bought the car this year. The service guy named Jake T. He kept telling me the parts were not in yet. It will be here for sure tomorrow. Wow, 2 1/2 weeks later. Jake could not get the service guy to repair my car as soon as the part came in until I requested my vehicle to be fixed while I was there. I was hurt knowing they would treat their customers badly after purchasing an expensive car. I waited too long just for a control panel system job to get done. The lack of concern and the consideration is ridiculous. You should go to Stockton Mercedes-Benz dealership instead of Modesto. The service at Stockton Mercedes Benz dealership might be better than Modesto. **** PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE YOU BUY A VEHICLE FROM MODESTO MERCEDES BENZ DEALERSHIPS****** THEY EARN THIS REVIEW!!!! I had to hold back my tears 😢 every time I heard and saw my car not being fixed on. P.S. NJ is not that far for it to take several weeks for a part to be delivered. C'mon, make it make sense! I am recovering from the humiliation I went through at Modesto Mercedes benz dealership.
