If you want to get lied to, cheated and then SCREAMED AT AND CURSED OUT when you politely try to understand why they wasted your time and money, these are definitely your people. These guys are the worst. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND FINDING ANOTHER SHOP!

Horrible shop. Took vehicle for oil change and few days later it's leaking oil from oil filter. I actually had to tighten up myself and took it back so they could replace oil that was lost. Took another vehicle there and they messed up drain plug and blamed it on someone else which is not possible because they were the only people who had touched my car. U get what u pay for.... "12.99 oil change"

I had a stripped oil pan plug and the guys took it off for me and replaced it with a new one. I brought my own oil and 13mm bolt extractor to get the old stripped bolt off and they took care of it no problem. Only $15.00 out the door, couldnt be happier. They also diagnosed my car and let me know I have a small leak. Thanks Steve.

I came to this establishment to return a uhaul box truck. 1 hour and 15 minutes later and after my wife brought me a meal while sitting and waiting, the only person on staff in a position to do the paperwork was able to take receipt of the truck. I can't speak on their prowess as a mechanics shop, but if it reflects anything of their customer service I would steer clear.

Was Told A Differential Oil Change Would Be About $300 Dollars.. Luckily I Declined And Discovered Change Would Be 2and a half quarts and was as simple as an engine oil change.. my home mechanic charge me 20 dollars and oil was 30 =50 dollars total.. Don't know why they would lie to me now o take my truck to Scott's

I have been coming to Mac's for years. Steve is always very helpful. I have multiple vehicles and they do all my oil changes. They seem to be very popular and they are busy all the time (because they do a good job). The only thing I will recommend is to have extra help at the desk. Steve is the only person and sometimes you have to wait a long time just to be checked in.

My family and I are new to Tucson. I found Mac's through a buisness network. Frank at the desk is so helpful and polite. We got our VW fixed within a day, then the family Van the very next. They are very attentive, concerned, and caring. Wonderful experience!

They are the best! I'm on the way in for an oil change. I felt like I ran over something? I Forgot to tell them to check my tires. While sitting and waiting they came to me too let me know my rear left tire was flat. They fixed it! Blessings to Mac's Auto crew. Your an Amazing bunch of guys. Thank you

I hired Mac’s Payless to replace the wheel bearings, tire rods and the upper and lower control arms. I was quoted one price and then when we got there, the price changed. Took them almost a week to repair then once it was done. We picked it up and a few days later noticed there were loose bolts on the control arms. In the meantime, that same day we got a oil change from somewhere else and they noted shaky tires on the right front. Called Mac’s told them about the bolt as well as the tire being wobbly, they had us bring it back. They tightened the bolt and repacked the bearings. Now here we are only 2 months later and the same wheel is wobbly. They refuse to take ownership of poor workmanship or fix the problem. I’m very disappointed in the service we received here. They did give us a $100 refund when we returned for the loose bolts but now here we are again going to have to put more money out to fix a job that should have been done right the first time. If I could give them zero stars, I would.

Had to take our truck in for air conditioning issue. Great job, done the same day. Be ready with cash or pay a 3% surcharge. We've used them several times and been happy with service and pricing.

Came in for a check engine light. $1200 later I go out to the truck and there is oil dripping off the engine. I start it and there is the same check engine light. Walked back in and they took it back. $1800 later and I get it back. Drive two hours out of town, the light comes on and the engine lost all power. These guys suck.

Max Payless LLC, Tucson, AZ fit us into their schedule when we were traveling and we were referred to them by the local KOA near them. However, they lied to us by telling us they were putting in GM parts for our O2 sensors and when we had to have the car re-fixed later on on our trip, they found out they were not GM parts and we had to get new parts installed again. They charged us $1267.93 for putting in non-GM parts parts that failed multiple times while we were still getting serviced with them and then again 100 miles after we left them. The engine light came on again and the car did not run well most of our trip until we had Authentic GM parts out in. You’ll notice in the enclosed photo that the short cords are the General Motors cords and the long cords are the ones that were installed at Max Payless LLC and removed. They cannot be trusted.

Had to take my car for an oil change and as usual I went in just after opening at 0730. Frank at the front desk is always helpful, friendly, and was quick to get my car in. The lobby is clean and even the restroom 🚻 smells fresh! Of course with inflation prices have gone up. You also receive a receipt as well as any issues that may be need to be addressed.

These guys did me super dirty. I stopped by on 3/25 @ 1:30 and asked what day would they have available to do an alignment on my shuttle bus - and they said tomorrow 3/26, so I made the appointment. Because I work out of town I also asked if I could bring it by at 4pm and leave it overnight. They said yes so that is what I did. I called on 3/26 at 2:50pm to let them know I wasn't going to make it before 5 and if I could pay over the phone for the alignment and the guy said he would call me back. 30 minutes later I get a call saying the machine is down and someone is coming over tomorrow to repair it. So when I dropped it off the day before they didn't know or didn't want to tell me the machine was down? I have an appointment for another setvice scheduled and don't have time to waste. I only have so much time available working out of town trying to get this shuttle to it's appointments. Unfortunately not a lot of places have the resources to align these - so now I start the process again in a few days. If they would have been upfront I could have moved things around and this would have been a 5 star review just like the other 500 I have left over the years. The ball joints and tie rods were replaced so an alignment is 100% necessary and I don't want to be putting a ton of miles on new tires, rims, and steering hardware.
