Dishonest, will not take responsibility for damages that happened while the car was in their lot. They instead blamed the towing company, which I know without a doubt is not at fault. Save yourself some trouble and use one of the other 100 repair shops in Appleton.

Honest place with good people. I have had multiple repairs and services done by them. They treat me fairly and do what I ask them too. They give me honest recommendations and don't try to force me into anything. Not the biggest place, but they do honest work and treat me fairly. I will be going back for a long time.

Honest? I rented a uhaul once from Mark. He told me it was ok to return it on Monday since he was closed on Sunday. Nevertheless he charged me for the extra day and told me in person that I returned it late. Going forward I avoid all rentals from Mark.

Took my truck there since the battery was going dead all of the time. They spent a few hours trying to find the issue but could not. They felt bad they could not find it and would not take any money for their time. Even if they could not find it I still expected to pay for their time spent. They have always been good to me and are always busy so I would assume other feel the same way.

Scheduled a uhaul truck 7/7/20 for a 8/1/20 reservation. Received a call stating that all of a sudden they weren’t open on Saturdays. She said I could pick up the truck 7/31/20 but it would need to be before 4pm but I wouldn’t need to return it until 8/2/20 and there wouldn’t be any additional charge. I explained I had to work until 5pm so that wouldn’t work. She then said she would just open the reservation back up and someone who had the equipment available close to me would call to let me know where to pick up the truck. She never did that! Instead she changed my reservation to 7/31/20 and instead of an 8 hour request, which is what I originally requested, she changed it to a 48 hour reservation. Not only is that not at all what I agreed to or was told would happen it also doubled the changes! I would NEVER reserve anything from Mark’s!!! Moving is stressful enough and then to have them not be dependable, no thanks!

Trustworthy. Wife brought car in. Had something checked out. Wife mentioned she believed it was time for oil change and tire rotation. Mark's called her back and mentioned they'd be happy to change the oil but it wasn't needed just yet (potentially saving $$). Fair pricing. Owned and run by solid people.

Completely fair and honest shop with reasonable prices and great people. I couldn't ask more from an automotive repair shop in the Fox Cities. I have also used their Uhaul services and the experience was flawless. If you are looking for a small shop that won't take advantage of you, go no further.

I'm not sure why theres negative reviews on here, but I have taken my vehicle to Mark's several times now for various auto repairs and every time the mechanic did an absolutely excellent job fixing my problem. The prices were very reasonable as well. FYI for people who are wondering he only charges $80 an hour for labor, plus parts costs of course, and most jobs I've had done he only charged me one hour of labor. They are no doubt the cheapest auto shop in the fox valley as far as labor prices go. Some of my family also have taken their cars there in the past and gotten excellent service every time as well. I highly recommend taking your vehicle to Mark's if it is in need of repairs.

Update: went back again and they replaced my muffler in one day and were very fair with pricing and incredibly kind. Highly recommend to anybody needing auto repairs. Wonderful local business with very fair pricing. Will definitely be coming back for any future repairs!

I use Marks for Uhaul pickups. While the Uhaul app has issues, the attendant there is always super helpful and fixes everything. This excellent personal attention is why I keep coming back to this location! Thank you!

Liers and stealers!!! I am so pissed. They replaced only 1 break pad and caliper and charged me $356 for it. Then they tried to tell me that I needed my front ball bearings and control arms replaced and it would cost $2000 to do. I bought my car for less than that!!! I got an estimate from the BP gas station in Neenah and it was $400. We decided to bring my car to this BP shop to get their opinion and they said that my car didn't need those parts replaced. Only my front left bearing needed to be replaced, the right was fine, and there were a bunch of other things the first guys didn't tell me. I ended up getting my car fixed at BP, my left bearings replaced, right tie rods replaced (turns out they were about to snap, thats not something that's easy to miss and would have totaled my car), and my leaking transmission coolant lines replaced. They charged me about $425 for parts and labor. Dont go to these scammers, they hide things from you yntil you NEED it fixed then try to jack up the price on you so you fork over you're life savings.

Marks is a second generation business, to see and independent repair shop still getting modern work done is great to see. Mark blends new changing tech with the old world style knowledge that is vital to auto repair. Fair pricing and timely turnaround is key and Mark delivers on those points. Over all this is a quality place to go when repairs are needed.
