I brought my family there and they bought some art pieces that they’re going to hang up in their house. I really recommend people who are visiting and locals to give this spot a try! Also, it’s really nice if you just want to see some interesting and unique art!

Lots of mass produced resale items. Some art. Zero antiques or anything that could be considered as such. Pretty disappointing tbh. It was considerably better before the 2024 flood. Might as well stop if you have any interest at all; the walk through is free.

Huzzah for the resilience of the human kind. I never saw the Marquee before the hurricane so can only imagine how amazing the whole area was.
Please go visit them!!

What a fantastic place to see art! There is art for just about every taste in this place and it's huge. Wear comfortable shoes and plan to spend an hour or more looking at all of the different artists areas and displays. Well worth a visit when in Asheville.

Love the Marquee! Very unique experience. If you love going to farmers markets or makers markets but hate the feeling of the maker sitting there while you look around - this is the place for you. They have so many different areas of the store to see and buy. All local art and artists (I believe). This area was pretty messed up from the hurricane but they are rebuilding so there’s a skate park right next to it and a bar or brewery behind it (I believe) AND you can bring your dogs in. We left them at the hotel because it was easier for us but for those of you who like to bring your dogs indoors - they’re allowed!

Wow. Beautiful place to check out local art and artists. So many unique things. Even if you're not interested in buying anything, it's definitely worth the trip to look. It reminds me of a much classier version of the Woolworth Walk downtown.

So excited to announce that Marquee has reopened! I had the privilege of going this past weekend and it was a moving experience seeing the resilience of this community come together and piece it back step by step. Definitely recommend checking it out, a new face on the interior and looks very nice.

Fun place to spend the afternoon browsing, sipping coffee and seeing unique artwork displayed. Everything for sale felt reasonable priced and there are “Mystery bag” sales throughout! Coffee place within and food truck outside!

If you're into local art and goods, stop at Marquee. Within the River Arts District, it's a massive industrial space with hundreds of local artists. There are paintings, cards, sculptures, antiques, candles, and more.
Park in the lot out front and walk inside, budgeting at least an hour or more to see everything. Pick up goods from different booths and pay for it up front near the restrooms.

This place is an absolute treasure! I only had about an hour to peruse, and definitely wished that I had more time because I could easily see spending 2-3 hours here. The huge building houses so many artist and vendor booths that nearly every media and style of art and handicraft is displayed. There are gift and souvenir options starting around $5. If I'm ever in Asheville again, I will definitely be back. Photos included of some of my favorite things.

This is a venue that displays a large variety of different types of art and creative compositions. The large building has areas that is a collection of small spaces where each artist displays their work. There variety is very inclusive and diverse. The art is for sale and there are checkout areas so you can select your pieces and just take them to the checkout to complete your purchase. Very clean quiet and organized. Lots to see here.
